Where can I find the file where the static mapping allocations of the DHCP server are stored?

In our company we are using DHCP to assign static ip addresses to our clients.
Now we are forced to change the ip address range. To prevent changing each allocation
of mac-address to ip-address manually with the admin tool i would like to change the allocation
in the file where the allocations are saved. The reason ist that i just have to use copy & paste for all
the allocations.
So how is the file named and where can I find the file where
the static mapping allocations of the DHCP server are stored? Is it just an ASCII file?
Must i note anything when i change the file manually?

BOOTP/DHCP STATIC BINDINGS
     Static IP address to ethernet address bindings are stored in the /etc/bootptab file and in Open Directory. Bindings specified in the /etc/bootptab file take precedence over those in Open Directory.
     See bootptab(5) for more information about the /etc/bootptab file.
     For Open Directory, bootpd looks at the /Computers records for the following properties:
/etc/bootptab is a standard text file, while the records in Open Directory can be manipulated either through the command line, or via Workgroup Manager.

Where to upload xml files?

In the installation doc. I found:

Where is the name of the file when upload in UIX

Hi, I'm using ORDSYS.ORDDoc as column type of my upload file colum, because is the only way to do upload with UIX without programming. All is Ok with this type of colum (I wish to do the same with blobs), but I have a problem: where is the name of the file? I need to get the name, I read about one attribute for this, somebody know about it?

but I made all automatic with UIX, I need that the link when I listing this colum, don't say a fixed name, I want that this link save the file with the original file name. 2 things, maybe when the file was saved, the info about the original name not was saved too, or the method that write the link, don't use this name, only a fixed name.

You will need an app (or apps) on your iPad that is capable of reading the documents, as they will be saved with the app - if you don't have such an app then there is nothing to transfer them to or to read/access them.
One method of transferring them is toconnect your iPad to your computer's iTunes, select it's app tab, and then scroll to the bottom of it - you should the apps That you've got that are capable of file-sharing (if you've got any). Selecting/high-lighting one of them should then allow you to add files to it via the box to the right of it.
An alternative way to get the documents onto your iPad is if the app that you want to transfer them to has a wifi setting, which will then allow you to transfer the documents wirelessly. You can also send the documents to yourself as attachments and then use Mail's 'open in' facility to copy them into your chosen app.

File Sharing lets you transfer files between iPad and your computer. You can share files created with a compatible app and saved in a supported format.

Where are uploaded files spooled to?

An arcane question regarding the custom version of Apache 1.3 included with OS X Server 10.4: when submitting a form including a file upload, I presume the file gets spooled into a temporary location on the server while it's being uploaded, correct? So, where is it (or how can I find out)?
The thing is, I've been trying to write an "upload progress meter" for a mod_perl script, and it's not working -- there's something about this customized version of Apache that prevents any of my script's code from being executed until after the upload has completed (I have a similar CGI script with a progress meter running on a plain-OS X Mac mini at home, and it works just fine). I've tried CGI.pm's upload hooks, as well as Apache::Upload for mod_perl-specific ways to deal with this problem, but it never works: all of my code runs, but only after the upload itself has finished.
I'm not willing to install another Apache or anything like that. So I figure one possible workaround is to find out where the file is being spooled, then have another script (called via XmlHttpRequest) periodically report the size of the temporary file back to the client. Does anyone know where uploaded files get stored while the upload is in progress?

Ok I found my own answer.
An uploaded excel file is stored on the server running the Hyperion Interactive Reporting Base Service under biplus\data\rm1_server name and then under some very long folder names with seemingly random numbers. The file itself is stored with a long alphanumeric name. You can lookup the file name in the BI plus relational database in the container table where you can find the long object name and the real file name.

How do I import Map Info Tab files into Spatial for a map of europe via FME and have oracle spatial draw the map without problems?
So far I've got to the stage where I can import the data, spatially index it (in oracle 9i) and get my SVG (scaleable vector graphics) application to view the map.
The problem is that countries that have more than one polygon (more than one row in the database) do not draw properly.
When I view the Map Info tab file in the FME viewer I can see that the data is fine, but I can also see that some of the polygons used to draw a country are donugts and some aren't.
This seems to cause a problem when I import the data into oracle spatial as I don't know if a row in the table needs to be inserted as an independent SDO_GEOMETRY or if it should form part of a larger SDO_GEOMETRY (as in 2 or more rows make up the polygon shape for a country).
I have a feeling that I'm not using FME correctly, because at the moment I have to import the tab file into Oracle then re-insert the data into a spatially formatted table (one with a spatial index) - I get the impression that FME should do that for me but as I'm new to this I don't really know.

MapInfo has a free utility called EasyLoader that allows you to upload a table directly to Oracle. EasyLoader creates the geometries and spatial index. You can download it free from http://www.mapinfo.com/products/download.cfm?ProductID=1044

On Demand doesn't support adding attachments via web services. One
solution I've seen is depending on the scenario is to create a web link
field on an object that's based on a custom text field. Your web service
can populate that custom field and the web link can generate a dynamic
link to the file in On Demand's UI. However, this depends on where the
attachment is located and if the user needs some sort of firewall access.

OneDrive for Business - where do I find a log file?

I'm having problems with MS OneDrive for Business and SharePoint 2013:
I tried to copy a lot of documents at once into my local SharePoint directory, synced with a SharePoint library.
Now, there is a problem with the syncing process and some (most) of those documents are not uploaded to SharePoint. They have a little red rectangle with a white cross on their icon.
I had similar problems when copying forbidden file types (like .exe files) or files with forbidden characters in their name (e. g. "&" and after removing them locally, the sync could proceed.
I did not find any of them, so I'm not sure where the syncing process gets stuck.
Is there a log file for this sync process in SharePoint or in Windows 7 locally where I can see at which point the sync process hangs?

Download & upload of an excel file

Hi,
      I have a requirement where the data needs to be downloaded into an excel file and user will upload the same excel file after making required changes in the data.
I have used 'GUI_DOWNLOAD' to download the data to excel file. I have tried to upload the same excel file using 'ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE' and 'TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP' function modules. But it is giving exceptions if I upload the same downloaded file directly. If I copy the data in the downloaded file to another excel file and upload this file, it is working.
I have tried using 'GUI_UPLOAD' with field separator which was also specified in 'GUI_DOWNLOAD' but in this case the data is uploaded into the internal table like,.
###&jkj, 0000 .......
Please suggest any other alternative.

File to File multiple scenario without mapping

I am doing one simple file to file scenario without mapping i.e picking file from sender directory and then placing it in receiver directory via FTP.
Now i have to take two files from different directories and place them in to different directories in the receiver side.
On the sender side i have selected Advanced selection for source file and maintained the sceond directory name and filename.
now i am not aware about the reciver side that how to place the two files in to different directories.
I have to make only one interface for this.

Getting "Warning: The file upload failed.No such file or directory." while trying to upload image using af:inputFile

Hi,
I have a <af:inputFile> component which will upload only image file and render the corresponding image...
It work with normal application deployed on weblogic server however when i use same taskflow as a part of human task in SOA BPM worklist...
I get this warning message "Warning: The file upload failed.No such file or directory." for certain files where as it works for certain image files.
And in BPM whenever i upload PNG file it throws this error.
Please help.

File to file with out message mapping and using variable substitution

Hi,
Can any one send me a scenario where we can have file to file scenario with out message mapping and where i can use variable substitution.
As of now i am using integrate configurations where i cant use variable substitution as the message does not reflect in integration engine. I need to populate time stamp between <filename><timestamp>.txt.pgp
I am as of now using configuration scenario.
The time stamp always writes before the last file extension.
Let me know your thoughts?

u can use the Variable substitution even without IR contents also(Mapping....).
in the receiver communication channel just specify the path u want to access for a value...
eg: filename payload:mt_name,1,records,1,name,1
and in th file name give it as %filename%.txt... or vt ever ur requirement

Mapping error in File to File Scenario.

In a file to file scenario some times sender communication channel picked the file, before the file is completely copied to the directory Though the poling intervals is 300 seconds. To my assumption, assume that the sender communication channel lastly polled on 10:10:10 and i am coping a file after 285 sec that is 10:14:55 and file size is 20 mb that takes 50 sec to copy. but the next sender communication channel poling is 10:15:10. here the file is partially copied but the communication channel picked the file and process. The scenarios throws mapping error because of in correct input file. This rarely accords but how to handle this. i want the cc to wait until the file is completely copied to the dir and then poll.

But there is some problem with system i guess. Adapter engine first load the whole file and then send it to Integration engine where after receiver and interface determination , mapping is excuted. So the fact that adapter picked up half of the file and tried to process does not seem correct.
Ideally this behaviour should not occurs.
If you are observing similar with all the adapter , you should also cross check with SAP support team.
