Where we do attach scanned invoices(PDF)  in MIRO.

Hi,
Following is the requirement,
What we want is the ability to attach a scanned invoice (pdf) to the IR.  Without this we would have two separate filing systems u2013 attached invoices in SAP for PO items and hard copy filed for non-po invoices.
Is there any option in MIRO  to  attach  Scanned invoice( PDF). Please give your valuable thought on the same.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi, I just found some hints about it:
- Please check this threat: Archivelink to archive an image and link it to a parked MM invoice via RFC
- If you introduce your paper invoice in an archiving system, you must assign the invoice document. For that, use the barcode.
You can assign a document type in paper to each document type from all societies.
In the customizing for entering barcodes, you can specify is entering barcodes is activated and if the system must check the entered barcode according to the document type and user.
- Check the SRM workflow, if appropiate, I mean, if you use it.
-In Invoice Verification, you can store inbound and outbound documents in external storage
systems using SAP ArchiveLink.
The scanned documents are stored in an external storage system and linked to the relevant R/3
documents. You can display the stored documents from the display of the R/3 documents. Check http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ish471/helpdata/EN/78/ee034b0eb811d3b6ee0000e82de955/frameset.htm

  • Requirement: Attach scanned document (PDF) to a batch

    Hi All,
The client has the requirement to attach the scanned document (PDF) to a specific batch for documentation and legal audit purpose. Is this possible in SAP?
I did some research, but I could not find any place in MSC2N (batch) to attach the document. I know that it is possible to attach the document in Material Master and BOM but not in batch.
The option that I am considering is to create a batch characteristics to house the SAP document number. Then we would have to create some custom program where-in user can search batch info and simply click on the link for document number and see the scanned document.
Please help to provide some suggestions on this requirement.
    Regards,
    Swapnil

I found the config (t-code:ODOC) by which we can activate document management for batches.

  • Attach invoice document in MIRO transcation code

    Dear.
Is it possible to attach a invoice document in MIRO or any ohter MM transaction.

You can't attach invoice document in MIRO transaction..
But you can attach the document after posting the invoice..
Post the invoice from MIRO transaction, then go to MIR4, enter the invoice document.
Here you can attach your invoice document..

  • I want to attached scanned documents as an attachment.  So far in PDF and Jpeg the entire document appears

Summary: Sending scanned documents as an attachment.  In PDF and JPEG the entire document is displayed rather than an Icon

As long as you used the paper-clip Attach icon, that should be fine.
The entire document appears to you because your Mac recognizes the document type, and displays it for you, saving you from having to mouse around and find a Reader for it. You can still use the Save icon to save a copy of only the attachment.
To avoid problems with other email readers, be sure the checkbox [√] send windows-friendly attachments is checked.
I addition, some email readers cannot cope with any attachments positioned at any place in the document other than at the very end. So make sure you move the cursor to the absolute end of the document before clicking "Attach".
If all else fails, send an email that says, "attachment to follow", then send the attachment right away in a separate email, with nothing else in the body of the message. Some use the Subject abbreviation (nt) to indicate "no text", that is, no words typed in the message portion.

  • How to scan to PDF

Everybody (almost)in our business (custom home builders) are sending their email and projects in pdf. I have down loaded Adobe Reader 8.12. For me by main project is sending our customer their bill each week, which consist of 10 -20 invoices (we work on a cost plus basic)I have a HP all in one scanner/printer etc. BUT where do I start in order to take invoices scan into computer and email as a PDF? Adobe Reader does not scan to PDF, or make PDF files at all.
Some scanners have PDF making built in, but Adobe's solution is their

I recently purchased an Iphone 6plus and I am receiving pdf attachments that are shown as winmail.dat attachments on the iphone. When I check the same e-mail on my macbook pro the attachment is a pdf and I can open it. Why is this happening?

I had this problem too after i upgdatd to OS X Mavericks... only the songs on my iphone 5s that i purchased from itunes would play.
i read something about it being a syncing issue. when you plug your phone into your computer with the usb cable, the person said to switch from automatic syncing of itunes to the "manual" option. mine was already set to manual so i wasn't sure anything would work. BUT, when i plugged my phone into my computer, it started to sync all of my music on my phone again (top of itunes bar where song playing/time is listed said "now syncing 123/534 songs to x's iphone"). once that was completed, i checked the music app on my iphone and everything was back to normal!
so, i would suggest setting your music syncing settings to manual if you haven't tried that yet!
    hope this helps!

When I view updates and click on it, and then click uninstall, it goes back to the Program Screen, in Control, for all programs. Then do I click on Acrobat and Uninstall?  I am nervous about doing this. Thanks

  • Scan to pdf not available in Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard

    Hi,
I have Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard installed on a PC with Windows XP Pro. The scan to PDF feature is not available anywhere in the program but should be as far as I am informed. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks.

Do you have a scanner attached? Does it work in standard graphics packages? Is it set up with a Twain interface? Then again, I have Pro and it may be a feature that is not in AA7 Std -- can't answer that one, but the following link gives a hint that you may need Pro: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/pdfs/acro7_matrix.pdf

  • HP Scan 1 bit scan to pdf embeds images as jpeg rather than tiff

Using HP Scan (latest version to date of 32.30.198.49673) and scanning in 'Black and White' to PDF (not 'Searchable PDF'), the image is embedded into the PDF as a jpeg (!!!), which means that the file is much larger than it needs to be, as it could go in as a lossless 1 bit tiff file. The image in the PDF looks like a 1 bit image, but 1 bit jpegs do not exist of course.
So, on a medium high image quality setting I get a file size (for a particular document) of 546KB, whereas the same scan to 1 bit tiff (on the same device with using HP scan) is 36kB (15 times smaller)
To be sure that it was embedding the scanned image as a jpeg instead of a tiff I set the file quality to low and you could see the jpeg compression artifacts which were a mixture of greys - thereby proving that it was a greyscale jpeg (of course, 1 bit jpegs don't exist), even though, visually, it looks just like a 1 bit scan in all other ways.
How can I get HP Scan, when I choose 'Black and White' to 'PDF', to embed the image as a 1 bit Tiff file, rather than a greyscale jpeg? I don't really want to store a file that is 15 times bigger in file size than it needs to be.
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hello @markp4000,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that you would like the images saved as a .tiff instead of a .jpeg, when you scan to PDF.
Unfortunately there is no option to change how HP's software creates the PDFs.
You will most likely need 3rd party software to optimize your scanning results.

  • Scanning, managing pdf docs with Microsoft Access

I'm an experienced Access developer, but new to Acrobat SDK. Is it possible to create an application in Access (VBA) that tags documents as they are scanned into pdf files, then retreive/display those documents using those tags or searching the pdf files? If this is possible, could someone point me to documentation or code examples where I can learn how to do this?
Thanks much in advance for any suggestions and guidance.

By "tag" I mean a short descriptor field that can be filled in by an operator for each document that is scanned, then can be used to pull up and view the document later. Specifically, the application would store scanned copies of prescriptions. Here's how it would work: The operator would load one or more prescriptions into a scanner. As each prescription is scanned, the scanner would pause to let the operator enter the prescription number into a database. The database would store the tag field and either an actual copy of the prescription or a pointer to the pdf file. Later, the operator could enter a prescription number into the database app and the image or pdf file would be displayed.
Thanks again for any advice you can give me.

  • Attachment of Word/PDF to Sapscript layout

    Hello everyone,
Need some help regarding attachment of document in script.
I know that we can convert the ouput of a SAPscript form to a PDF in a mail attachment or a spool.
But what we require is attaching a word/pdf document to an existing SAPscript so we can print it at the end of the existing SAPscript layout as terms & conditions.
Has anyone does this before? I know how to upload word documents in ole and in document management, but am unsure if its possible to add it to a layout. We can add bmp/tiff files, but pdf files??
Please advise! Thank you in advance.
    Regards,
    Ketaki

    Hi Rich
Great to hear that someone has already solved the challenge we are facing now.
We have to print some PDF’s which are stored in iXOS archiving system and linked with archive link to a SD invoice.
Is it possible you describe a bit more detailed your solution and if possible you send a copy of the coding to me.
    Thanks in advance.
