I have an iPhone 4. I would like to transfer music from my HP computer to the phone. The music appears on my iTunes page on the computer but I cannot figure out how to transfer it to the phone. I'd also like to transfer the phone numbers on my phone to my computer (so I can keep them on my backup drive in case something happens to the phone). When I connect the computer and the phone, it says it's 'syncing' but I certainly can't figure out what's being 'synced'. The only thing I've ever been able to transfer at all are photos from the phone to the computer. If I must upgrade my phone system to 6.1 to do thi, I am reluctant to try that because it says I must save things or they will be lost (e.g. music I've purchased, phone directory, etc) - which I have no clue how to do. My nearest Apple store can only be reached by plane (in Honolulu). Thanks for any help.

I recently updated and restored my Iphone on a Mac. My music was erased, therefore, I am trying to sync all of the music from my computer into the iPhone, but it says that I need to use the original computer/itunes in order to sync, but it is the same computer and iTunes account. The error reads: The iPhone, "Name" is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and a sync with this iTunes library? If I click "Erase and Sync," will it delete my contacts, apps, etc?

I got a usb charger for my 4th gen Ipod touch that at first allowed my to charge and transfer music from my laptop to the Ipod now nothing happens when I plug the usb cord and Ipod into my laptop. Its mac so it is an apple system. I am wondering how I can fix this problem I am not very good with techy stuff so this is very confusing how it was working and it just stopped.

That is never fun when your iPod touch does not show up on your Mac. Take a look at the article below to walk you through on getting it to show back up on your iTunes. It is very easy to read so you wont feel overwhelmed with to much techy jargon. Let me know if you get this worked out.

I dont know if you have your music on your other computer was on itunes, but if it was, make sure that you signed into your itunes account on your other computer. If you are signed in then your music should show up in your library. -
If you have a video in camera roll on the ipod touch is it only videos taken with the actual ipod or is it possible to transfer videos from your computer to the camera roll? The ipod touch was bought in feb. 2011
You can transfer videos from your computer to the iPod Touch, but not to the Camera Roll.
The Camera Roll is for temporary storage only - for photos/videos captured by the iPod Touch and for photos saved from a received email or from a website. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. -

I cannot give you a legally backed opinion but I would imagine that if, for example, you were using icons, provided you had permission to use them your App would be acceptable.
From what I see, there are three distinct types of icons. Freeware, Licenced ware and original art. For licenced ware and original art you would certainly need the agreement of the copywrite holder or artist. For freeware, it would be wise to seek permission in case the situation changes..
The same would go for pictorial representations. Unless copywrite has been sold, the artist holds the copywrite and you would need permission to use it.
I cannot see how the approval of the app would be affected because it would be your responsibility, as the developer, to have obtained all necessary permissions.
