Where/When can I buy extra ZEN MICRO battery in JAPAN? (or U.

When or where can I buy an extra battery for the Zen Micro in Tokyo, Japan? The store staff here say you can only order it online and I haven't seen it on the Japanese website.
I also haven't seen it on the U.S. Creative site or any other store.

Should I buy the Zen Micro or the Zen Touch Playe

I am trying to decide whether to buy the Zen Micro or the Zen Touch. They are roughly the same price. I do not think I need 20GB, but I <EM>hate </EM>to constrain myself.
On the other hand, the Zen Micro appears to offer a few extra features like FM radio, replaceable battery, voice recording and advanced song handling (DJ, for example). The Zen Touch seems to have just the most basic functions.
So what do I do, get a gigantic player with minimal functionality (less than an iPod or Nomad) or a smaller player with more functionality (I am unlikely to use voice and FM recording, and use the FM radio minimally)?
It just seems like the overall Micro firmware is more robust than the Touch firmware, but I'm not sure the tradeoff is worth it.
What are your thoughts?

I have a Zen Touch. I do not have an enormous music collection, but have maybe 50 or 60 albums on the player. This is something like 6 or 7 GB. It is WAY too much for me (even this much music). I do not need even that many songs on it at once. With support via WMP0 to synchronize, you could just synch up your favorites every time, switch them around, eventually synch up Napter 2 Go stuff and still have a ton on a 5 GB player. Features on the Micro that sound flashy but I would NEVER use are the calendar, contact thing. I have this on my phone, too, and don't use it. I have a PDA--I DO use that. An MP3 player is a pitiful substitute for a PDA (and a PDA is a lousy MP3 player). I would use the Audible Audio support in the Micro. Touch does not have this. I am a huge Audible fan. I had seriously looked at a Rio Carbon, but now that the Micro is out, that would be the player I would buy if I had it to do over again. They do need to develope a way to charge your extra battery for the Micro. The ability to swap batteries is pretty stupid the way it is now--you can only charge it in the player. They need a charger for the spare. Just my opinion, but I think some people get carried away with hard dri've potential. I can't forsee EVER wanting to carry that much music around with me, especially when it will be so easy to change what is on the player once full support for WMP0 comes out. I am just not away from my home computer library for that length of time that I would want to carry most of it around with me. I vote for the Micro.

Security Q block my access- where else can I buy music?

The infuriating system that blocks me from purchasing to funnel me into a security check with mandatory inapplicable questions that if I do answer i will get locked out from buying later when i cannot remember whatever i was forced to make up is essentially stopping me from buying from itunes, and setting me up to be locked out from what i have paid for later. What are my options- where else can i buy?

Have you tried getting the qestions reset ?
If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

Apple discontinued DVD Studio Pro three/four years ago. You can probably find copies from private sellers, but whether it will work without problems on OS X 10.9 I don't know. I don't know of any "professional" alternative to DVDSP for Mac, but someone else here may be able to offer suggestions.
As to iDVD, it should work under Mavericks, depending on what version of iDVD you're running. You might ask for assitance in the iDVD forum. For alternatives to iDVD, see this page for suggestions:

Reports on the Sprint iPhone have gone either way and I'm not sure if the GSM side is unlocked.
The AT&T iPhone comes locked but if you Restore it as new after authorizing it then you will get the "Congratulations, your iPhone is unlocked message". But again you have to activate it first.

If you're updating the firmware, you just download it from Creative's download page. All the latest downloads are there, click the link Support > Downloads on this page.

There is not a Zen Micro Car Charger released yet. Since it charges over USB it requires a different charger than our other Zen Players. When one is released it will show up in the online store for your region.

Where Can I Buy a Zen Xtra Ca

I have the leather one that it came with, but I am looking for perhaps a plastic non-grip/non-slip one like you can get for an Ipod. Or a canvas or nylon one. The leather one is not good for working out at the gym. Anyone have any idea where I can purchase one other than the $60 custom made Vaja one. Even eBay has been no help.

Zen Micro battery won't charge, can't turn on MP3 pla

Hey guys,
I;ve bought a Creative Zen Micro 5GB, 3 weeks ago and it was working GREAT...until now. I was using it one night until the battery completely drained off and the Zen Micro turned off by itself. The icon "LOW BATTERY" flashed for a few seconds and the unit basically shuts down.
I tried to plug-in the USB 2.0 cable provided by Creative into a PC USB 2.0 port
. the MP3 player wouldn't start up. The blue light glowed, followed up by the intro 'Creative' screen and then it died off. That happens everytime i plugged the unit into a USB port.
2. On the upper right screen on the unit, it showed that power is supplied by the USB port (battery + electric symbol flashing), but the battery wouldn't charge up and I can't turn it on either
My questions are:
a) Since the battery is dead flat, wont the unit still run/function normally if its plugged to a PC USB2.0 port?
b) Why does my Zen Micro die off a few seconds after it's been plugged on to USB?
c) Can't the PC USB power supply charge up my MP3 player battlery?

I'm having the same problem, but in my case i didn't run out of battery, i used it last friday and it showed it had one bar left of battery, this morning (monday) i wanted to use it and it wouldnt turn on. I came to my office where i have my usb cable and plugged it in. and it shows like its chargin but it wont charge and wont turn on.
I will try woith the AC adaptor when i get home. But it looks weird... anybody else had/has the same problem and fixed it's?

If i remember correctly when I ran the installation CD there were options to do a full installation and a custom installation. I chose custom and a list of the applications was displayed with boxes with a checkmark in each. I "unchecked" the box next to keroke player to not install it.
