Whereis the firefox menu button its on the pictures but cant find how to access it

i have been working on this for 2 days for the first time i downloaded firefox it was on there until i used a darn skin

Make sure you are not in full screen mode (F11 toggles on/off)
To restore the Menu Bar: View → Toolbars → (check) View Menu
If you can't see menu click on "Alt" to see Menu Bar and other Toolbars temporarily or use "Alt+V" then continue as from View menu. Restoring the Menu bar gives you back having the title on the title bar so you know what page you are on. In either case, you always have the mouse-over on the tabs and the list all tabs button to be able to see titles. The status bar is under View → Toolbars

If Safari - Preferences - General - Remove Downloads list items... is set to 'when Safari quits' or 'Upon Successful download'; then it's normal for the download arrow to be missing, until a new download is started. A small download might finish so quickly that the icon isn't noticed.

Can the Firefox menu button be hidden so I can use just the menu bar?

When I start firefox initially the menu button shows up, but if I open up other firefox windows then no firefox menu button. I want to hide the button so I can use just the menu bar. I had no firefox menu button until today, and no recent changes to my addons that I know of.

The problem seems to be more than just a corrupted system file because it even with a partition restore firefox does a partial reset of addon configurations. The initial window with the firefox menu button then won't allow addon configuration, I have to start up a secondary window to do this.

Can i have the orange firefox symbol AND the firefox menu bar showing at the same time?? and how??

With this one you can move the new "Menu" button into the Customize Palette, and then when you hit the '''Alt''' key the "Menu will open down from the Titlebar on the left. Won't affect the action of the Firefox button when you de-select the Menu Bar.<br />

I just downloaded and installed the new version 4 of firefox. When I open firefox it does not show the orange firefox menu button. What do I do?

I double clicked on something and now the Firefox Menu button has disappeared. How do I retrieve it?

I have been looking for information on how to save passwords. After I clicked on the Menu button, I double-clicked on an item in the list. Now the Menu button is gone. The name of the tab is at the top and under it the File, Edit... bar. I tried reloading Firefox hoping that the default setting would reappear. It did not.

The FireFoz menu button disappeared with the latest update and I can't fine bookmarks!

My Firefox just updated, and suddenly unless I hold the cursor ay the top of the screen there is no toolbar, but worse, even if I hover there, annoying to be sure, the Firefox button with the drop down menu containing my bookmarks and the 'find' utility has completely vanished!

OK - I experimented and found my own way out. I hovered at the top until the toolbar appeared, then in an empty spot I right clicked and when the drop down menu appeared I clicked on cancel full screen (or something like that - it won't duplicate now!) but it stabilized the toolbar and renewed the orange Firefox button.

I was trying to hide just my clock for the history and the menu bar(file,edit all that), I dont know what i clicked but it got rid of everything except for the bookmark tabs. I know if you right click on the menu bar you can fix it, but since there is no menu bar anymore, this isnt working. i looked up how to do it in the forum found out you can press alt and do it that way, maybe i didnt do right, but that didnt work either.please help me!

I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 The firefox menu-bar is on the top of the screen - how can I get it into the firefox window?

Maybe I'm an idiot - this does seem a very simple issue. I can right click on the tab bar and check things like Navigation Bar, or Add-on bar and they all work fine - but the menu bar is stuck on the top of the screen and appears when I role over it. However, sometimes when firefox is automatically opened by some other application (LibreOffice) it comes up in a window with menu-bar onboard. I'm sorry if this is so obvious to everybody else - but it is irritating to me

I'v read all over the internet for decent export settings for mpg but cant find any. Please help.

I have been searching for good export settings to use as I export my mpg files in adobe premier cs4
But all my results are so crapy!
I can see they are good in premiere, but after export they are as bad as if I would use windows movie maker.
I found that AVI uncompressed only gives out the sound, no images.
Avi compressed gives that bad look.
QT animation gives also bad look.
Mp4 got a max resolution of 340 x 240, so we not even gona discust that one..
My movies are in native MOD files. I convert em by simply changing the extension to mpg
720x576 resolution
25 fps
48k Hz compressed audio
Any more info needed?

You are starting with compressed files... and then you compress again... that is a DOUBLE hit on quality
You might try some other software (no, I don't know which one) to edit your files and export without re-compressing

Keep Orange Firefox Menu Button in Fullscreen

When I use Firefox in Fullscreen it get rid of the Orange Firefox menu button how can I keep the menu button in fullscreen

If you want to keep the Firefox menu button then your only option is to maximize the window.<br />
That should place the menu bar and tab bar in the title bar.
It is possible to have the menu bar showing in addition of the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar if you hover the mouse to the top with code in the userChrome.css file.<br />
This only works if the menu bar is visible in normal mode (View > Toolbars / Firefox > Options)
Add code to the userChrome.css file below the default @namespace line.
