Wheres the OK button in the advanced window in preferences?

I'm trying to import videos but I need to change settings in the advanced window, I've changed them but I can't find the OK button to save the changes. can anyone help?

This is probably screen resolution, iTunes requires min 1024x768
Right click in the desktop then Properties>>Settings where you can adjust the screen resolution.

I cannot modify a photo using an external application (adobe photoshop elements 10) in iPhoto11-LION. The advanced window in preference iPhoto seems uncomplete and unable to open a photo in it.

Are you saying that PSE opens but the photo doesn't go there? That usually means you chose the logical file rather than the correct one as your external editor. See:

  • HT1550 i have the newest version of itunes and none of that works!!! i dont know where the advanced menu is and i dont think you can select a song anymore

I have the newest version of iTunes and none of that works!!! I don't know where the Advanced Menu is. And I don't think you can select a song anymore. I need to make WAV Files to put them on Windows Media Player so i can download music on my Samsung Intensity 2.

Try placing the iPod in recovery mode and then try to restore. For recovery mode:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
If iTunes still does not see the iPod try:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

  • After viewing a site with a flash window in it, the next site shows a blank rectangle where the flash window of the previous site was. This persists through all subsequent sites. How can I eliminate this flash window persistence?

using the latest Firefox Beta, after opening Shambhala.org site, the flash window shows up as a blank rectangle on subsequent sites. I am using Mac OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard. The only way I can get rid of the blank rectangle is to restart Firefox.

That sounds like a known problem on OS X. From the known issues section of the [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/4.0b5/releasenotes/ Firefox 4 Beta 5 Release Notes]
"Plugin content can be rendered incorrectly leaving blank white squares over web content. Scrolling or switching tabs will often fix the problem, although sometimes you must close the tab which contains that plugin content (see [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=592453 bug 592453])"
This should be fixed in the next beta.

  • Where is "file" button in itunes? Windows 8

I'm trying to burn a voice memo onto cd. When I'm in itunes and insert disc, a window pops up: "You've inserted blank cd, blah...blah...blah, click on "file", then click "burn to disc". Where is the file button?? (itunes Windows 8)

That probably means click on File on the iTunes menu bar, not a "button."  Windows has options to show or not show the complete menu bar at the top of the window, so if you do not see the File menu, set it to show the complete menu bar.

  • The latest Firefox version won't expand to make text and images more visible on my 32" screen, although I have tried to adjust the advanced Windows appearance settings in the same way that has worked in previous versions of Firefox.

Normally I have had to go to Control Panel; Appearances and Themes; Display; Settings; Advanced; Custom; and then I adjust the Customize Setting to 155% (149 dpi). I have hit on this setting through trial and error; larger and icons like the cursor get big and fuzzy. Smaller than 155% and text and images are tiny on the 32" wide screen. This time that procedure doesn't seem to work. The text and images remain too small regardless of setting, although the cursor icon gets big. I can manually zoom the pages, but that is clumsy and has to be redone. Does anyone know of an easy setting fix? I am not too smart about this stuff--mostly trial and error, but I do want to be able to enjoy my wide screen. Thanks!

any help would be greatly helpful it is runninh 10.5.8
Have tried making airport inactive and manually entering all the ip address and subnet etc but as soon as i click apply it adds the same address again.

    Hi..
    Try using OpenDNS.
    Click +
Enter these addresses exactly as you see them here.
    208.67.222.222
    Click +
    208.67.220.220
    Then click OK.
More about OpenDNS here >  Topic : Manually provided DNS server addresses are higher priority than DHCP's
OpenDNS offers better speed, more security, includes anti phishing filters, prevents browser redirects, and it's free.

  • Firefox 34 has a bug where the Options window is blank.

When I try to open the Options menu is blank. I'm using FF 34.0.5. This did not happen in version 33. I want to roll back to version 33 pending a fix; but for some reason Windows Restore is not working. Using Windows 7. How can I reinstall version 33?

Disabling ghostery restored the Options menu; but now I have the problem of certain web site pages hanging on reload because of all the 3rd party ad cookies.

  • Unable to move the Itunes8 window. Silly !

    Don't ask me why... I don't know.
The fact is that i can't move the Itunes 8 window on my desktop anymore... Everything works fine (Genius and so on), but the window is stuck in the middle of my desktop. Did I miss something
    Thank's for our help.

    From MacFixIt
The iTunes window seems stuck in place Several users have had an issue where the iTunes window is frozen in place. The program seems to function perfectly in every respect, except users cannot drag or resize the window. This problem has been associated with an incompatible "Accubeat" plugin that had been installed for iTunes 7. Apparently this plug-in is not yet compatible with iTunes 8, and should be removed for users who have updated. It is recommended that users remove any third-party plugins if they are experiencing faulty application behavior upon updating. If problems still occur then users should remove the iTunes preferences file (called com.apple.iTunes.plist and is located in /username/Library/Preferences/.

  • Where are the PLAYLIST and EQ preferences for iTunes located?

Somehow I lost my iTunes Playlist when I moved the audio files to another hard drive on the same computer. Does anyone know where the PLAYLIST and EQ preferences for iTunes located on a Mac? Also can I make a copy or backup of those preferences? Thanks!

There are no Playlist Preferences - playlists are saved into the iTunes Library database file (what we call "the Library" in these forums).
There is however a com.apple.iTunes.eq.plist file - it's in the ~user/Library/Preferences folder. Individual EQs for your tracks are stored in the iTunes Library file.

  • Can you tell me where the Firefox button at the top of the Firefox window is?

I am trying to automatically clear my browser history, but I have no idea where the Firefox button is.

Do you have the menu bar with names like File and Edit visible?
You get the orange Firefox menu button if the menu bar is hidden.

Press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] Clear history when Firefox closes > Settings

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
