Which adobe product would be recommended for video?

Hi!
I'm looking to create a video that is essentially like a "Virtual Tour". I was wondering what Adobe product would be best to use to create such a video? Is there one that would allow me to build scenes or incorporate audio files?
Thank you!

Premier Pro And After Effect are 2 Adobe software are mainly for the Video edting and composting. Premier Pro is mainly for for Video Editing and After Effect can used for composting.
Present available version of both the software are compatible on 64 bit OS and trial can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/downloads and later you can purchase the full version after trying the same for 30 days.

Adobe Illustrator.  Your company logo should be a vector file.  Image files can be "Placed" in Illustrator.  Artwork created for printing can be drawn in Illustrator and saved as .ai, .eps, and .pdf files which can be imported into your printer's RIP.  But, check with your print vendors and see what they require.  This does not rule-out Photoshop, however Photoshop can be limited.  So, it would be a good idea to have Photoshop and Illustrator loaded in your workstation with Illustrator being the go-to application.

  • Which adobe software can be used for video ads editing and generation.

I am employed in a company ShoppingSpout.co.uk and I have a work related to ads. I am using Photoshop for image ads and banners but i really dont know which adobe product is handy to make ads for my site : http://www.shoppingspout.co.uk

Video editing would be Premiere Elements (under $100 US) or Premiere Pro (about $800 standalone for CS6 or newest version is only on the Cloud only for a monthly fee)

  • Interactive text application: Which Adobe product would be most appropriate?

    Hello All,
I will be creating an interactive, online text application and I would like to know which of the Adobe (or any other) products you think is best suited for this project. Your input is greatly appreciated. Here is a description of the final product:
The initial interactive document will have about 200 pages with about 350 words per page (more pages will be added weekly). There will be a variety of fonts used in this document (some 3d text, some flat text, etc.)Thirty percent of the words will glow on the page (at runtime) and upon mouseover the text that makes up these words will expand (vertically and horizontally). Upon click images and movies with sound (animations and videos) will pop up (over the text document) and play. Sometimes a click on a word will change the text in the rest of the document (introduce new fonts, colors and font sizes).
Which product would best accomplish this? Flash, AfterEffects or something else?
    Thanks much!

For the time spent learning how to use Illustrator and the cost of it you could probably hire a professional.
If you want to do it yourself for a small company, avoid Adobe all together unless you want to use their 30 day trails - google it for info.

And as above, Publisher and Expression design can be OK - generally it's what you do with the software not the software itself.

  • Which Creative Product would be best for

So I need a mp3 player and portable photo storage unit with very specific features. I need it for my holiday (coz I don't want to take my mac in case I loose it). I really like my creative USB mp3 player and would like to get a creative product to meet my needs.
My requirements are below. Could anyone help me by letting me know if there is a Creative product that will do ALL of these things?
    Thanks in advance!
    - Can store photos on it without having to go through a computer. Either through and XD and Compact Flash II reader or directly from the camera through a USB input (prefer the latter option)
    - Colour screen so that I can see the pics
    - mp3 player that supports VBS rips
    - at least 30gig storage
    - Ability to charge with the cigarette lighter in a car (or have rechargeable batteries that can be charged with an in-car charger)
    - Standard headphone jack
Also, if there is a function so that I can back up my photo files on the fly straight into my external 40GIG hard dri've (without using a computer) this would be perfect.
    Thank you!

    Hi,
I just read your post and maybe you might consider buying a Zen Vision W. This is a 4.3" Widescreen portable video player. It has the USB Host Feature which is you connect your digital camera and transfer photos on it without requiring a computer. It's available in 30GB and 60GB capacities. It plays music and videos, has a built-in FM radio, voice recorder and some more extras and it has Compact Flash Slot so you can store your pictures from your memory card. Go to this link for the full specs of this player...

  • Which Adobe product is most suitable for sketches?

I want to add color, texture and realism to my A4 size paper sketches . Which is the most suitable product for this process?

    Welcome to the forum, Thomas!
The best application depends in part on what you ultimately want to do with your sketches.
For example, Adobe Illustrator uses vectors as the building blocks of its files. Vectors can be enlarged a lot and still look crisp and clear:
On the other hand, Adobe Photoshop mostly uses rasters as the building blocks of its files. If you enlarge a raster file too much, it can look unpleasantly jaggy:
For more on the difference between vectors and rasters, see the short explanation at http://www.adobe.com/designcenter-archive/keyconcepts/articles/concept_raster.html
To see how Von Glitschka, a professional artist, combines Photoshop and Illustrator to add texture and color to his sketches, go to http://vector.tutsplus.com/articles/interviews/interview-with-von-glitschka/ and scroll down to the question "You use textures in some of your artworks. I know that creation of raster textures is your passion. Tell us a little bit about the process of their creation and integration into vector artwork?"

  • Which of these macs would you choose for video editing?

The main difference is the MBP has an Serial ATA drive, and the Air has a Flash drive.  Also the MPB has 2.9Ghz, and the Air has only 2.0Ghz.  Which one would you pick for editing with Final Cut Pro X? (Also curious which one you would pick even if video editing wasn't a concern for you, thanks!)

Thanks for the answer.  Didn't realize the 13" MBPs differed from the 15" MBPs.  I thought the screen was the only major difference.
Apple fools a lot of people with that. The 13" is really a MacBook and not a "Pro" machine.
The best machine for video editing depends upon what your going to do, full on production or casual home stuff.
A 15" MacBook Pro and a iMac for the casual lightweight stuff and iMove can do the job.
The new MacPro coming out for the heavy duty stuff.
The industry seems to be moving away from Final Cut Pro X as it's been consumerized or something, lacking needed features and moving towards Avid on powerful Mac's or Windows 7 towers.

So perhaps a mix of Avid and Final Cut Pro X if your serious about furthering your career.

  • I want to scan typed documents to Word for Mac and change them. Which Adobe product is best for this?  This is not my area of expertise.  Thank you.

Can someone tell me which Adobe product to use?  I'm compiling a manuscript of poems and short stories for a friend, which are typed and handwritten and I need to edit them.  Thank you.

Scanning to Word won't do what you want.
You see, a scan of a page is just like a photograph of it. You have photos of letters and stuff, but no actual letters. There is a special process called "optical character recognition" (OCR) which analyses the picture in detail, and decides - hey that pattern of dots looks like it might be a letter A - and that would could be an S... it is difficult and time consuming but if the original is clear then you can get a lot of text text with the need only for careful proof reading.
Check the software which came with the scanner first. It may well offer options for OCR. Yes, Adobe Acrobat Pro can do this, but you have unnecessary complication, because you'll then need to get the text out from Acrobat to begin the tedious process of typesetting each page. To be honest, you might find retyping everything the quickest and most reliable approach. If you aren't already experienced in dealing with long documents in Word you are in for a long haul. Back up a lot, so you don't lose everything due to a mistake.
(I'm assuming you don't want a "facsimile" - a warts-and-all exact copy of each original page, as typed and scribbled, with no changes at all - that would be a different story).

  • Which Adobe product is best for me?

My wife and I are in the travel business.  I like to make 8½ x 11 flyers for our cruise promotions.  I start with a blank page and add images and text to make a composite, and then save it off in pdf.  I've been using an old XP version of Microsoft Picture It! running in XP Mode on Windows 7.  I need to upgrade to something more modern that will handle eps files, etc. I'm not a graphic designer, so the Adobe product line is confusing for me.  So which product would be best for me, the cheaper the better?  Thanks

  • Which Adobe flash do I download for iOs 5.1

Which Adobe flash do I download for iOs 5.1

have OnLive Desktop Plus on my iPad 2. It works well when viewing websites with Flash videos and Flash slideshows, etc., as it has the full desktop version of Flash. It never crashes or exhibits any other problems. The built in browser is IE. Text is set in the browser at the smallest possible size, and it can't be resized, and so it isn't the best browser for extended reading. It costs $4.99 a month, but it is well worth it. It includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and cloud storage. Best of all is the extremely fast browsing speed of 350-850 Mbps (that's what I've been getting, although OnLive claims 600-1,000 Mbps). It does not replace your Internet access, as you must already have WiFi or cellular data for it to work and then it boosts that to world class Mbps speed (a Gig per second browsing at its best).

  • Customising leaflets - which Adobe product is best?

    Hi
We have around 250 leaflets that we need to customise quickly for around 100 customers. The customisations are straightforward - placing a logo (jpeg) at the top and some text at the end.
The leaflets themselves are not complicated and follow a standard 2-column design mainly text with two or three illustrations.
I'm not a developer and we're looking for an off-the-shelf solution that is easy to use.
I need some advice on which Adobe product is best for us.
    Thanks!

  • Which Adobe product should I use ?

    Hi!
I'm going to generate, merge and put a waterstamp on PDF's. I want to do that from C# code on a 64-bit server. There is no need for a GUI.
Which Adobe product can help me do hat ?

    Hi Wiggur!!
All you said is possilbe by creating Actions in Acrobat X. That will be a silent process and will do everything automatically. Installation of Acrobat on servers depends on the license that you purchase. But certainly you can do that. That will be a silent process and you can call those actions by any programming language, i guess!

Which Adobe product can create a PDF that cannot be altered or printed by the recipient?

    Hi quoman,
It sounds like you're asking how to add security to a PDF file. You'll need Acrobat Pro or Standard to do that. If you don't have Acrobat, you may try it for free for 30 days. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

Hi. Your computer can be upgraded to either Leopard 10.5 or Snow Leopard 10.6. 10.6 will be much easier to find and will be less expensive. Leopard is not required prior to upgrading to Snow Leopard.
