Which Adobe Programs Do I Need For My Videos?

Hello,
Please forgive me for not knowing the technical terms for what I aspire to do. I have worked with video for many years (started with Premiere 4.5) but never 3D objects other than titles.
I want to be able to draw 3d models of objects and people (in the round so that they will look correct at any camera angle), position the models and cameras starting points, move the camera angle during the video, and animate the 3D characters themselves (make them walk, bend, smile). I think I saw something about a lip sync tool as well.
I want to be able to combine 3d models with real video as well. I assume I would render the 3d scene on an alpha channel or green screen and then pop in the video background using Premiere but not sure.
For final outputs I will need to upload to youtube and create widescreen DVDs.
Please let me know which Adobe apps are best for the...
1. 3D model creation
2. scene creation, animation and rendering
3. combining real world video with the 3D characters and objects and outputting to the formats mentioned above
4. Anything I missed?

Adobe is not in the 3D business that you might think. Adobe software (Premiere/After Effects) can do compositing but not character animation.
You might do well to take a class in this stuff where you can learn the technology and purchase the correct software at a student discount.

Adobe Illustrator. Your company logo should be a vector file. Image files can be "Placed" in Illustrator. Artwork created for printing can be drawn in Illustrator and saved as .ai, .eps, and .pdf files which can be imported into your printer's RIP. But, check with your print vendors and see what they require. This does not rule-out Photoshop, however Photoshop can be limited. So, it would be a good idea to have Photoshop and Illustrator loaded in your workstation with Illustrator being the go-to application.

I am a professional photographer of many years standing and at the moment I have a student for 12 months, who I am teaching how to use various Adobe programs, but to introduce her to video editing, I have purchased Adobe Premier Elements 13 which is less complicated than the Premier Pro that I use. The program works perfectly, except for one thing.... when adding a title to the short video sequence we are working with, if I use a particular font (Metallophile Sp8) which I obtained from my Adobe Typekit, it crashes the program,.... all other fonts work perfectly....can anybody help me please?

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running on? And what video card/graphics card does this computer use?
From your description, can I assume that this Mettallophile Sp8 font is being recognized by Premiere Elements 13 to the extent
that it can be seen and remains seen in Titler's list of font choices - even after the crashes?
If you opened a new project, imported nothing, and created a text title in the Titler with this Mettallophile Sp8 font, does the program crash?

As already suggested in your first thread visit the Toshiba Canada page and choose this notebook model on the driver page.

Then download the Intel Matrix Storage Manager (SATA) - Floppy drive image. Its for Vista but the files in this package should work with Win XP too.
Include these files using nLite in order to create new Win XP disk containing the SATA drivers.

Okay, I'm programming a video game for my High School grad project.
Now, I'm just wondering, which Java program do I use for it? It will be 2-d, I'd like it to have SNES like graphics, and it will be a platformer, but kind of like Metroid. You will be able to change forms, from ice to water to a gaseous state, and you have different powers according to which form you're in, like forming an ice bridge in ice form, slipping through cracks in water form, and rising higher in a gaseous form.

There are IDEs like Eclipse arround but that are not good at beginning because they are quite complex and don't take away the coding.

I have an iPhone 4, with iOS 5, streaming active. But there is no streaming of pictures towards my Mac. I read the explanations, the help pages in iCloud and Apple doesn't mention at all which version of iPhoto you need for this feature. It's sure that in the Sources I don't have "Streaming", as I can see in their image. I have iPhoto 8.1.2 and OS 10 6.8.

Hi, thanks for the answer, but iCloud works on my Mac with Snow Leopard.
From Safari I can access through icloud.com to Calendar, Contacts, Mail, iWork and Find my iPhone. Actually I don't have iWork for the iPhone, so I can't really use it, and I didn't activate Mail (in my iPhone), because all my accounts are IMAP and messages are saved forever.
Well, the only other thing that interested me was Streaming (so is it called in Italian, but you are right, in the English version of the help pages it is called Photo Stream).
I'm aware that the version of iPhoto that I need for that feature must be more recent than mine, but I still hope that there is a version of iPhoto which supports Photo Stream and requires only Snow Leopard. I think that after iLife 9 (my version) there is directly iLife 11 (the present version), and I know it requires only 10.6.3 and not Lion. If Photo Stream is supported by iLife 11 and iLife 11 requires 10.6.3.... But perhaps there is an exception for some features, like Photo Stream. I would like to know...
I don't want to update to Lion, it is a slow system.
