Deleting on one device does not affect another device.
You can delete the App's on the iPhone and nothing will happen to the ones on the iPad.
1. You don't need to.
2. Settings->Cellular->"Use Cellular Data For" will show the data usage for each App since the last statistics reset
3. Settings->General->Background App Refresh Will show which Apps are allowed to get data in the background
4. It restricts it to Wifi. If the App requires internet access and Data is turned off, it will have to wait until the device is connected to a wifi network.
5. Nope, You just use up battery since the BT radio will continuously look for nearby BT devices.
6. The Personal Hotspot uses your cellular internet connection from your phone or other cellular device; whether you consider that secure or not I cannot say. It also depends on what you are doing while connected to the Hotel's wifi. I would not do online banking while on vacation though. -
My ipod app on my iphone 4 will not let me listen to music through the headphones it came with.
It is quite annoying. I plug in my headphones that came with the phone into the jack and I can hear the instrumental music just fine but the voices sound like they are very far away. I have had my phone for two months and it has been doing it since I got the phone. I tried different headphones thinking that was the issue but it wasn't. I like working out and I have had zero motivation lately b/c I can't get the stupid headphones to work on the phone! I have tried EVERYTHING. If anyone has had similar issues please please let me know what you did to correct it. Thanks.

Photo editing question - which app does this?
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask; if not, please forgive my faux pas.
I'm looking for an inexpensive photo-editing app ( < $25) that will let me take an image and distort it in such a manner that it appears to have 3d perspective. That is, I'd like to shorten the height of the left vertical edge but not the right edge, making it appear that one is looking into the distance. I have a few common apps like Graphic Converter and Pixelmator but if they have this function, it's pretty well hidden.

Which apps does pdf generator need installing

The online documentation says that PDF Generator supports a large number of formats, including doc, dwg, vsd (visio) and photoshop psd.
It doesnt mention Illustrator (ai).
In trying these out on our dev server, i found that only doc, ai and dwg worked.
The "preparing to install" documentation says that msoffice and acrobat must be installed on the server.
Microsoft office is installed, but not Visio, so I guess that explains why visio files wont convert.
I havent installed photoshop or illustrator either.
I havent (knowingly) installed anything that supports dwg, but that works fine.
I can't find a definitive list in the documentation which says explicitly which applications are required?
Is there such a list published or available somewhere? I need to be able to tell my customers which additional apps they will need.

However, with Unix installations there is more than just the Acrobat installation to be concerned with. For the most part, LiveCycle uses the native application (Word, PowerPoint, etc) for the conversion. -

I would like to know which app/software in MAC gives us the same feature that is provided by System Restore in Windows, and how does that work.
Time Machine is one such program, although it is a recursive backup program which offers limited archive capability, based on the capacity of the backup destination, and it requires you set it up before you start editing your files. Some programs are also Versions aware, which offers a kind of restore capability by file. Again needs to be setup before you start editing.

Is there any Iphone App that will let me listen music through my bluetooth headset.
No. There is no FM tuner in the phone. The audio from the TVs in the gym is broadcast over FM radio frequencies, they are not piping it out over the Internet. If there was an app that would let you listen to them, it would be specific to your gym.

At a minimum, the app will need to check for the existence of an App Store receipt and exit at launch with a status of 173 if it does not exist.

How to listen for key press when air app does not have focus

a user presses Ctrl+F1 (notice, just those two keys,
I don't care what else they press...) the browser
will open up. That way, you don't have to wait for it
to load all the time.You have two ideas here. One is having a universal key map that always gets ctrl-f1 sent to your app. The other is a program that is constantly running so that you don't have to wait for it to open up. The former is not possible (and this is a good thing) As warneria and I have been saying, it is bad design for an app to try to force an OS to implement this kind of feature.

How much free storage space is available on your iPod Touch?
When restoring your iPod Touch with iTunes, did you restore from the backup for the iPod Touch or as a new iPod Touch?
If the former and the problem lies with the data included with the backup, restoring from the backup will also restore the problem putting you right back where you started. -
