If you need features like email marketing, BC blogs, secure zone, then you need to select webMarketing plan. And if you need E-commerce features, that you need the webCommerce plan.
If you want to use external blogs then you may go for a lower plan like webBasic+ or webHosting plan.

Help need to switch Muse site to BC on a allready hosted plan

Hi, i also posted on BC forum...
I have a client that was in a hurry to have his emails accounts before the entire website.
So i went on and bought the email marketing plan (cos he will also need to do email campains) an pointed his domain everything is working fine, at this moment he has his accounts the domain is live.
The site would be just a small 7-10 pages not to complicated.
Has a graphic designer (who has venture into Business catalyst cos it had all the solutions i needed, well that's what the promotional videos said anyway) I made a site in Muse.
First i did a temporary page thats says "comming soon", and then i made the entire site, all the design and menu but with blank pages cos the client didnt have all the content yet (and still dont have). I uploaded that site to a sub directory so he could see the evolution.
He approved the design, yay!
At the end of the process, he told me he needed to have full control with the editor. (style, images, bulleted list, need to put downloadable document like pdf etc.) i told him that he could only modify what was allready there with the Muse in Browser editing (that he saw when i made the pitch using another site) he was impress with the way it worked.
so i told him i would have to remake "template".
I thought of using a BC template, and modify the looks to adapt to my client image, Of course, use a responsive theme so he could make the change at one place only. (cos in Muse you need to make the changes on the 3 layouts).
Now, i created a new temporary site using one of the new responsive template available.
How can i import that new site onto his live domain? In other words, how can a switch from a theme made in Muse, to a BC template?
cant i just delete everything in the root folder, and upload the entire new site via ftp?
please help me find the solution. i am a bit in a panic here

Thanks for additional details.
Unfortunately we cannot change site template of a live site in BC , but as a workaround Create a site from BC using the template you wish to use then publish the site from Muse to the site created from BC and transfer the contents stored from live site to trial site. Ater final transition is done , you can delete the already paid site and make live the new trial site which includes new site template.

Which 3G plan is best? Is 250 MB enough?

I am going to order a 3G iPad. However, I do not know which 3G plan to get. Is 250 MB a lot? I have no idea how many MB I download per month on my laptop. Is there a way to monitor my usage now? Is there a way to check how much I am using on my 3G iPhone? If I download books or videos on the iPad, how many MB, on average, does that require? How much to send and receive regular email? To check the data usage on your iPhone 3G, go to Settings > General > Usage > Cellular Network Data > Sent and Received.
If you've never reset this and it sounds like you haven't if you don't know where this is located on your iPhone, select Reset Statistics. This will reset the Sent and Received data and the current period for the call time.
You can check the iTunes store on your computer for the size of some of the books, for some of the apps with most not being very large, and the same for video. Full length movies can be between one and two GBs in size. 30 minute TV shows significantly less.
Impossible to say about email since this can fluctuate depending on how many messages you receive and send when connected to AT&T's cellular network, the number and size of attachments received with messages on a regular basis, and how often you forward a received message with an attachment or attachments and how often you email photos on your iPhone.

Ok, so I finally got it working but this is not ideal at all. Adobe really needs to give us some direction on how to properly deal with font embedding and TLF now that the release build breaks all functionality with loading runtime fonts and TLF.
Problem:
I am embedding collections of fonts (faces) into single family classes. Each individual face is registered with Font.registerFont(). I need to do this because I have to have mixed fonts within text flows - at least according to Alex H's recent blog post.
Fonts do not display in TLF without doing the following:
1. GlobalSettings.resolveFontLookupFunction = null;
2. editor.textFlow.flowComposer.swfContext = ISWFContext(this.getFontContext("AnyFamilyNameFromAnyFontEmbedded", false, false, FontLookup.EMBEDDED_CFF));
3. Instead of #2, use editor.textFlow.invalidateAllFormats();
Either #2 or #3 need to be performed. If I have a spark richEditableText control in MXML with defined familes from the loaded fonts. I even tried placing the control into a separate state so it wasn't created until after the fonts were loaded... I still needed to invalidate the formats or set the context.
The "AnyFamilyNameFromAnyFontEmbedded" does not need to be all of the embedded family names. It only needs to be one of them. Once one is used, all embedded fonts work. Also, I have to use the internal namespace to even get access to getFontContext, another oddity that, in my humble opinion, should never be necessary to create mixed style TLF content.
My questions are then:
1. Why am I required to use ISWFContext if I am using Font.registerFont()?
2. Why is GlobalSettings.resolveFontLookupFunction = null; also required for this to work?
3. What is the recommended workflow to embed fonts from multiple SWF files into the release build and have it work without having to jump through all these hoops?

You can try to create infinite loop:
DATA: STOP.
WHILE STOP IS INITIAL. ENDWHILE.
Start InfoPackage and then go to SM50 and swich on debugging for your process. Then in debugger you can change value of STOP variable to skip the loop.

I recommend the PCA standard drill-down or interactive reports accessible via the follwoing menu path:
Accounting --> Enterprise Controlling --> PCA --> Infosystem --> Reports for PCA
There are several reports which allow entering profitcenter groups or profitcenters.
Long Text is not possible. Makes also no sense to report on Long Text.

we are using SAP BusinessObjects Analysis 1.4 SP9 (1.4.9.3241, Office 2013) and SAP BW 7.3 SP 11 (SAPKW73011).
When executing a planning function on an selected line in the crosstab, the following error appears:
The VBA Coding used is from HowTo Execute a Planning Function on Selected Lines in an Analysis for Office Workbook.
The Code worked fine with an older version of SAP BO Analysis and Excel 2007.
Going to debugging:
As you can see in the screenshot, the selected line (Dimension "0PRODUCT") is selected correctly.
The settings for the planning function are the following:

Without knowing what is on your Mac it is a little difficult to say.
Photoshop Elements will do it (Use the Magic Wand to select the area then Paint it).
GraphicConvertor comes bundled on some Macs and can do it.

Which CC plan should I consider signing up for if I only need one license?
I work as a freelance graphic designer and I need (at least) Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Muse and Dreamweaver so single apps are not the way to go. As I'm only one person it doesn't make much sence going for the team solution either.
Is there a plan specifically for freelancers/oneman companies?

Folder Chooser reference (which uses a tree for selection)

is there a recommendation for a folder chooser which uses a tree for selection? all i've found so far are either:
* 3rd party folder choosers
* the file open dialog box of java where you use setFileSelectionMode( JFileChooser.DIRECTORIES_ONLY);
i can't believe there is currently no folder chooser which uses a tree for selection in standard java. so probably i didn't find it. before i write my own, i thought i'd ask.

Can we use MRP to plan for FERT in-house produced with PIR's & has Min/Max

I have a very critical issue from the client who wants to use MIN/ MAX stock values for planning its finished products (in-house produced)
here is the details of the scenario
Client recieves 2 Excel files every week from customer
1st file contains the Weekly Demand Forecast of FERT material for next 1 year and they upload it in MD61 as PIR's BUT this value is also Inclusive of Safety stock value (ex: if weekly demand entered in MD61 as PIR is 50 and if safety stock value is 10, then actual demand is only 40)
2nd file send contains only safety stock values (for ex in this case let it = 10) to be maintained for the FERT materials
the client wants MRP to plan and trigger based on this PIR's in MD61 and Safety stock level fand plan for FERT, HALB and also ROH materials as defined in the BOM also taking into consideration the current WIP levels (Work in progress for any existing production orders currently being processed) based on the production Lead times values maintained
so what the client wants is they want to maintain 2 stock values, that is one least stock value and other higher value which if stock falls below this point, will trigger production based on the lead time and considering any WIP levels also
(for ex in this case if PIR = 50 and safety stock is 10, MRP run result client wants is = 30 and NOT =40)
so here are my questions
1. is this scenario feasible? use safety stock and min/max level for in-house produced finished which has demand PIRs in MD61 at the same time?
2. Also due to SOX complaince regulations, the client does not want to change the forecast values in MD61, so is it possible to make some settings so that forecast is corrected by WIThOUT including the safety stock value in it? ( for ex: in this case as = 40 only and NOt as 50)
3. which all settings should i maintain like for MRP type or lot size or stock qty levels or anyother customizations if any required so that when we run MRP, can it ignore the safety stock value and generate the client desired output?

This is not possible as per standard functionality. MRP always creates proposals for the shortage quantity of the safety stock. We have used the user exit in the plant level MRP run to exclude both plant and safety stock in the net requirements calculation.
You have to write logic to convert the safety stock into plant stock in the user exit so there will be no additional procurement proposals...you can create custom indicatar in materail master or linked any existing indicator like MRP group to the user exits so the MRP will checks this and will not create proposals for the selected parts.

Once you are done with your sitet, Click on Publish in Muse, select New Site from the drop down, It will ask you a name for your site, which will be used for site url, you will get a url like mysite.businesscatalyst.com, then go to the browser and login to the admin panel, mysite.businesscatalyst.com/admin and on Dashboard, click Launch site. This will push your site live, and you can then add your custom domain.
Also make sure that you have completed all these actions mentioned here
