Which bom & routing selection for costing

i have 9 multiple BOM for a finished product and 1 routing.
i want to run CK11 AND CK24 for standard cost estimate.
my problem is that which bom & routing should be considered for std. cost estimate.
for each combination calculated std. price in CK11 is different.
how i should address this issue so that i can calculate std. price

If you have ( BOMs and 1 Routing that means you have 9 different Production version or not than create it.
Now How system will pick the Production version for Costing.
it Depends on
- Costing Lot size - Costing 1 of Material Master.
Now as per your Costing Lot size system will pick the nearest prod. version.And If there are more than one Production version found which match the costing lot size then it will pick the first one (See the production version sequence in t.code C223).
And depends on that Production version system will pick the BOM and Routing attached to it.
But if you want to run MRP as per your Selection then Select BOM and Routing in Quantity Structuer or Production version in
Costing Data 1 View of Material Master.
It will become default Selection for BOM and Routing for Cost estimate.

SO Pricing User Exit - How to know which item is selected for re-pricing.

Hello Experts,
I have to modify material data when user does a update pricing in VA02, the problem is...How do I know which item is selected for re-pricing (in MV45AFZZ)? I am using user exit USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP.
For Ex: If my order has 3 items and 2nd one is selected and then 'Update' is done on 'conditions' tab. Above pricing user exit is triggered 3 times for all items, so I cant check XVBAP.
Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks for reply. But USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP is triggered for all items, so how do I know which is current item?
If you see in debug mode, xvbap-posnr and tkomp-kposn will have 10,20,30 everytime (for 3 times). How do I know if user has selected 20?

Hi,
You can create BOM using normal T.Code CS01 in PP-PI.
For creating Resource (work center), T.Code is different i.e. CRC1 and Recipe (routing) is C201.
For creating Process Order is COR1.
For BOM it the same t.code. It is generally referred as Material List.

Control of route selection for WiFi & Ethernet subnets ?

i have a shiny new macbook pro. Also running various virtual machines in parallels. To cut a long story short - in one scenario, I need the osx host machine to use WIFI as its default route while an XP VM needs to use wired Ethernet for its default route. This is because the XP environment connects to a company network and the mac host needs public wifi connectivity... How do I manipulate routing preferences for this ?
I tried changing the default route from sudo command line on the mac but it was not successful... it looks like mac takes priority for Ethernet over WiFi when it is plugged in. The XP machine is setup under parallels to bridge onto the Ethernet port so it works a treat.

I have fixed this myself... turns out there is a "Set Service Order" option under the Network settings in System Preferences... All I had to do was push WIFI to the top of the list and it becomes the default/priority route for the Mac... The XP machine is virtually patched to Ethernet in bridge mode so it continues working. BRILLIANT !

I had follow your step, create a new variable set for the cost center at GS11.
When I want to include the set (KOSTL2) into the general data selection it prompt this [error|http://www.pikipimp.com/pp/pimped_photo/s/image/42/314/153/ErrorGS12-compiled.JPG?ts=1237172967140] may I know how should I correct it?
Is it my setting was wrong?

Which format to select for burning DVD?

Hi to all. I have been trying to burn a few of my projects, 3 to be precise, onto a DVD. Tried out Finder>Burn folder, but found out that the finished DVD would play only on computers; as I need to have one that can be viewed on normal DVD players I tried to do so in Toast Titanium in which I was faced with the problem of which of these above formats to select:

Further, after [I think] I selected MPEG-4 player and then faced this hurdle...a notification to this effect that I was making a DVD of PAL and [?] NTSC videos which may not play in all players. Not knowing what to do I just clicked OK and found out that I was able to view it on my small [low cost as well] DVD player.

I have Toast 10 and I don't see your drop down menu you see.

2. Drag your video file to the window on the right, or click the Add button on the bottom of that window.
3. Select menu and auto play options on bottom lelft pane.

Right now I have a WRT54G basic 4-port wireless router. I have a wired Pc, a wired laptop, and a wireless xbox 360. Now I am looking to take a step forward to the new N Routers because my xbox 360 connecton literally sucks. I am going to buy one of these new wireless N Adapters for the xbox. BGP route Selection for Outgoing Traffic

I am going to implement a multihome internet connection to two different ISP. Before implementing in real network, I have prepared the same in GNS3 and testing. Subnet 10.x.5.0/24 should take R1 to outside from LAN and 10.x.6.0/24 should take R2 to outside from LAN.
Below is my configuration;
HSRP between R1 and R2 towards LAN. R1 is the primary HSRP device.
R6 is the host (example) and subnet .5.0/24 and .6.0/24 are connected to R6.
R6 is sending a default route to HSRP VIP.
R1 is advertising subnet 10.x.5.0/24 and R2 is advertising subnet 10.x.6.0/24
iBGP is configured between R1 and R2
From Internet to LAN:
From router 5 (exam.: Internet) traffic is divided in to two routers. traffic for 10.x.5.0/24 coming to R1 and traffic for 10.x.6.0/24 coming to R2. This is absolutely fine. What i expected.
From LAN to Internet:
I need traffic from 10.x.5.0/24 should take R1 to go to internet (outside) and from 10.x.6.0/24 should take R2 to go to Inernet (outside).
I have tried with higher Local Preference on each router but is not working. All traffic from R6 (i.e. LAN) to outside is taking only R1 to go outisde.
Could any one can help on how I can share traffic for 10.x.5.0/24 & 10.x.6.0/24 divided in two Routers from LAN.
Diagram is attached.

IN HSRP keep R2 as active router for 10.x.6.0/24 Subnet.
If you do not want to change HSRP, Then create a route map, match the 10.x.6.0/24 Subnet and the set the next hope as R4.

Updates Confusion: Which ones to select for HP Notebook-15-r249tu

I regularly update my system, Windows is not an issue, however HP updates seem to be a problem. For example when I tried to update the graphic driver from Intel, it shows that my system has a customized driver and should be updates from the manufacturer site only. I have tried to get updates using the HP support assistant, but every time it shows "no updates". I then tried the HP website to get updated and it shows a list of related updates, but the problem is they all have the same/similar file name and description. I don’t have a clue as to which ones to download. SO my questions are: 1) IF the HP support assistant does not show any updates then is it right or should I try other source? 2) Are the updates on HP website just a list of all necessary drivers and software or are they updates to already installed drives/software’s? 3) How to know which to download from the list? BOM and Routing selection for the planned order and production order through production version, If u have more than one BOM and more than one Routing then u can maintain this information as Production Version in the system.
Production version you maintained
MM01/MM02 -- MRP4--- Production version
Or you can create Production Versions in Mass also with Transaction Code "C223"
In the case no production version maintained/created for the material, then system by default will pick the first BOM and routing.

I agree with your point,we have 3 info record for a material and 2 are valid as such. The price maintained in two info records are as 7.5 & 1.0 respectively(valid info records).
The last price in the purchase order (of the info those records) are 0.41(dated on 09.04.2010) & 0.2(dated on 19.04.2010) respectively, but when we execute the cost estimation the system picks the price of 7.5 not the least price of 0.2(as its the latest purchased price).
Do let us know why and of what logic the system picks the highest price.

BOM- Routing- cost estimate

Hello
i want to find out the relationship between BOM - Routing and cost estimate.
i know what a BOM is, not sure how its linked to Routing and its compulsary
to have a BOM and routing to update the costing run with quantity structure?
can someone throw some light on this process and explain the flow.
I have read sap help links but didnt find them very usefull.
for testing purposes i want to update all the cost components manually. I need to have a materila which has all the cost components in the costing 2 tab in MM03
is this possible?

Create an LSMW for CK11N and enter the Prod version of your choice in CK11N.. No need to create a BDC...
Ideally, you should create a Proc Alt in CK91N with each Prod Version and Mix ratio in CK94 for such cases.... If you want to release cost with only one version and want the cost of other versions only for name sake, you can maintain the Mix Ration in CK94 as 100 0 0 0 i.e. 100 for One Prod version and 0 for the rest

I have three prodution versions for material with three different alternative BOM and same recipe for all three versions. All three versions are with same lot size and date validity. when i do cost running which version will be considerd by system as default? is frist version? if it is frist version what seeting is required to pick req version to consider for costing?

the system considers the first available active production version as its default costing version for a period cost.
alternatively if u want to select another version you would have to lock the other ones.
eg:
if you want the 2nd one selected than mark the 1st production version as Locked for any Usage from C223.
than the system would pick Version 2.
same is true for the 3rd one, the first two versions would have to be locked.
