Which buttons dont work when you run windows xp

the keyboard for a mac and a pc are kinda different. are there ne buttons that dont work when you run xp with bootcamp?

Only one I can think of (if you're using the latest version of Boot Camp) is the "delete" key won't act as "delete" (such as in ctrl + alt + delete) under Windows. Other than that, every other key should function correctly. (The Apple/CMD key will work as the "Windows key." And the "option" key will be "alt."

ECourse radio buttons dont work when published as a HTML file

Hi Guys
We are creating some eCourse's in Captivate 7 but when they are published in to HTML format the radio buttons don't work - they wont let you click them. (Have tried IE, Chrome and Firefox)
However is you publish the course as swf it works fine - unfortunately the web provider we upload to doesn't support swf so they NEED to be HTML
Any ideas on a fix? We did a chat session to a support guy and he said as a workaround copy all slides to a blank project and publish that which we have done today and the same issue has is there.

I am assuming you have Windows 7 and you have SP1 installed
As a testing, please follow these steps :
1) Close Adobe Captivate 7
2) Go to this location : C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Local\Adobe
3) Rename "Captivate 7.0" folder to "1234"
4) Launch Adobe Captivate 7
5) Open any of your projects and then republish it.
If issue still occurs, share one of your project with me ([email protected])

When you run windows 7 using bootcamp, are you able to run Command Prompt as you would on a regular pc?

Because I want to be able to do things like Visual Basic and run programs,codes,etc. I just don't want to get a PC. I'm studying Computer Science and I know most of the things I will be dealing with will mainly be with Windows OS is why I'm asking.

Running Windows in a Boot Camp partition is the same as running Windows on a Windows PC.

AV button stopped working when updates to windows 7 loaded

I have two HP touchsmart 600s. I use one to toggle to HTMI and then watch ATT uverse. When we downloaded the most recent window 7 fixes, the AV button on my remote stopped working. Is there a fix for this? I can no longer watch tv on my second TouchSmart.

Which Touchsmart model do you have. There are many that fall in the 600 series.
You have two options. You can uninstall / reinstall the drivers that are for the remote to see if that helps or we may have to roll back your system to before you did the updates to try to identify which update is causing the problem with the remotes.

Development buttons not working when application running

Hi,
I am using Apex 4.1. For a new application that i created the buttons which come in the bottom of page (Edit Page1, Application 1, debug etc) are not clickable. They workked for another app in the same workspace.
Any idea what could be the issue and how to fix it?

Do you have any custom js code in your app? try disabling that code and see if the buttons work

Of course there is. There is with any computer system that you connect to the internet or transfers files to and from. When you run Windows on your Mac you increase the chance from zero that you will get a Windows based virus to virtualy the same risk as any other Windows user.
The weaknesses in Windows OS and applications are well trodden by virus and worm malcontents the world over. That doesn't mean that OSX is exempt though. All it will take is once and the entire Mac world will sit up and take notice......

After you install Apple driver to enable the audio chip, YOU then need to manually download and install (Cirrus or Realtek audio depending on the Mac).

in your iTunes go to Store>Sign out ; then go to Store>Log in and log in under your old Apple ID
Sync while logged on under the old ID, and everything purchased under that ID will sync.

Qosmio x300 and Win7 - FN buttons dont work

I reinstalled Windows 7 and now the FN buttons dont work. I have installed the newest version of VAP, the flash card utility is running. So I have no idea.
Did I forget to install something?
Or is there a tool who installs all drivers for my Qosmio x300 in one piece?

Normally its enough if you install Value Added Package and Flash Cards Support Utility to use the FN keys. But make sure that both tools are released for Windows 7 and not for old Vista.
As far as I know if you search for Qosmio X300 on the Toshiba page you will only find VAP for Windows 7. The Flash Cards Support Utility is an older version. I would recommend install a newer version, for example search for Satellite L550. There you can find Flash Cards Support Utility for Windows 7, its version 1.63.0.4

Apple, as I said, does not repair your iPhone. All hardware service issues are handled by replacing the unit. So they can't handle the home-button issue without also addressing the issue of the cracked screen, for which they'll almost certainly charge you. But you can make an appointment at an Apple Store or call Apple tech support and plead your case.
