Which cards do support java card platform (vm) 3.0 in the market now

hello everyone, i search some website today for shopping card that support the platform, but there is no card.
does any one know which card support it?

If it is about the classic cards: I know that Giesecke and Devrient also supports v 3.0.1 in their smart c@fe expert cards. I am not sure if they sell to end-customers though, so it may depend on who you are/how many cards you want. I would link, but not sure if this is accepted here. Just check the strong authentication section in the product section on their website:
http://www.gi-de.com/en/products_and_solutions/products/strong_authentication/Smart-Cards-f%C3%BCr-die-starke-Authentisierung-5824.jsp
For connected cards: I think no time in the near future.

  • Why does Apple not support Java Runtime Environment?

I am a U.S. Armed Forces Service Member, and I have ran into this problem so many times along with millions of other people, and I would like to ask Apple why don't you support JRE?  My job requires me to use websites that is designed for government use to run on Java. I travel a lot, and I work on the go; I love using my apple products such as the IPad, but when it comes down the sites that I must use, I can't. It is very frustrating and impossible to get the job done without accessing these sites. Apple, you would get so much more support/business if you would allow your faithful followers to have access to Java. Specifically JRE 1.5+.  I still do not understand the reason why Apple has consistently refuse to work with Java based application. Apple, please swallow your pride and give your supporter something to keep going with. Thank you.
    Regards,
    U.S. Navy Service Member.

    One take on it here:
    http://www.codenameone.com/3/post/2013/01/why-oracle-wont-issue-java-for-ios-any time-soon.html
As James said, you can comment to Apple, but given the many serious security problems that have and continue to be discovered in Java, the chance of Apple implementing or allowing a Java engine in iOS is vanishingly small.
Expanding on what Phil said, there is at least one app/service combination,  VirtualChrome, which says it supports Java. But you could achieve the same result with probably more control over security by just taking control of a desktop system running Java.
    Regards.

  • Java or DotNet Who Will Survive In The Future.

Now a days java especially J2EE is doing good in the market but DotNet is not lacking behind. now in the market you can find almost same no of jobs in both besides that java is so old and DotNet is new.

It is first now, almost 10 years after its birth, that Java technology has started to deliver on its promises.
Java and C# are very similar. The only real difference, and the big advantage of Java, is that it's more portable. Not inherently but by policy. In this ways Java has a strong strategic position. It's the only real alternative for major players like IBM, HP and others. As long as Java stays portable and advances its runtime system it has a great future.
One interesting runner-up is C++. It represents a different paradigm - static compilation. There's an evolution taking place right now towards very generic programming. I think C++ will always have a strong position. Most of the modern systems software running today is written in C++. It has one big disadvantage though. Its extraordinary flexibility makes it very complex. So it's not really competing with Java/C# as a choise for mainstream software.
I think the greatest enemy to Java is Java itself. It relies heavily on the OO paradigm. If OO goes out of fashion Java can be overtaken by something else.

  • Is the Java Card Platform supports the unnamed package?

    1.agree
Virtual Machine Specification for the Java Card Platform, Version 2.2.1 chapter 2.2.2.1:
"packages in the Java Card platform are used exactly the way they are in the Java platform."
That means the Java Card platform also have two type package, named package and unnamed package.
    2.against
Development Kit Users Guide for the Java Card Platform, Version 2.2.1 chapter Running the Converter:
"Command line usage of the Converter is:
    converter [ options] <package_name> < package_aid> < major_version>.
    < minor_version>"
The above formula tells us that the <package_name> is a MUST Line Arguments of converter. But if we create a unnamed package, how should we express it?
    3.against
first,How a real JCVM intall/organize the unnamed packages?
second,In a real JCVM run-time environment, all java items(include attribute, method and soon) refered by the suit of package+class+item. In this condition, the item in a nunamed package cannot offers the package and is never refered.
I have been botherd by the above 3 boresome and opposite points for some time and cannot give out the key of the question.
Can some one give me some ideas?
    thx!

Sun's kit is free. There is a reference implementation of the JC Runtime environment with the kit.
You of course can't load that onto a card. And even if you had the RE, you won't be able to load onto a card because the RE is burned into the ROM which you don't have low level access to.
Read the JCRE specs that come with the kit

  • NetBeans java card platform

    Dear All,
I need a java card simulator to debug my java card applet code.
I try to use Java Card Platform on NetBeans IDE 7.1 for debugging purpose. After successfully building the applet and loading it onto the simulated card environment I try to select the applet instance using the following command through the Console.
    select //aid/3F564379F5/00279CD982
in response I receive the following error.
"Connection reset by peer: socket write error"
Is anyone using Java Card Platform for debugging? I would be very happy to hear how to resolve this problem.
    Thanks in advance!
    Cheers!

    Hello Rohit,
If you download the Java Card Development Kit (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javasebusiness/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javame-419430.html#java_card_kit-2.2.1-oth-JPR)
you will have a set of sample java card applets to use.
You can use JPShell to download the cap files(compiled applet) onto the card and send ADPU to the card to see if you get correct response.
Following link provides all the information to set up the environment and start developing java card applets using NetBeans IDE and GPShell.

    I hope this can help.
MehmetI already have , Netbeans 7.1 and now i have gpshell 1.4.4 ,i think netbeans is capable to making .cap file, did you mean that with use of gpshell i can connect with java card through reader? gp shell would work stand alone or we need to set this to netbeans? i read the link which u passed to me, it seems very good but "it seems very tough to implement" . HELL IS WAITING FOR ME... KIDDING DEAR,
one last thing, anything other than net beans { here we create applet and it automatically create cap file} and gp shell are require to load applet onto the card? OR these is enough to implement wholo java card application- I asked this because i get the term JCOP and etc when i read uploading applet to card.
    anyways thanks for your help.

In other words which version of firefox started support for Java 7 ?

Please also give links to the problem pages if they are public so that we and others may test them. You could also consider contacting the sites concerned directly yourself.
Using Java can raise security concerns, and especially so using outdated versions.

  • Which cards support AS

    Hi,
I'm in the process of specifying some computers that will be in a music technology classroom (school). There is an intention to use Cubase and Sibelius with these machines. Having experienced latency issues in the past, I believe I need a card which supports ASIO? Is there a comparison table which shows which cards support ASIO? Does the Audigy SE? There's no mention of it on the spec page, but wanted to check. Thanks

    SE don't support ASIO.
In generally, all Audigy 2/4 models (excluding Audigy 2 NX) and X-Fi models (excluding XtremeAudio) supports ASIO. Also there normally is mentioned if card supports ASIO in product pages.
    Li've! series cards don't support ASIO nati'vely but there are 3rd party drivers which can be used w/ Audigy 2 NX @ Li've! 24-bit External;

  • What is Client-Side API for RMI on the Java Card Platform

What is Client-Side API for RMI on the Java Card Platform ?
And what is host software ?

Your post is weird: you seem not to agree with yourself O_o
OF COURSE sim cards have CPUs, otherwise how would you run an OS or a java vm on them?
to drive the wifi there will be a proprietary api, just like mifare access on normal cards.
the OS should manage the wiki stack in C/asm and expose javacard entry points. only "should" because this is only a press release.

  • Does ACR1281U-C1 cards support Java Card?

I just got my self an ACS Card reader for ACR1281U-C1 cards, but I don't know how to install my cap file onto the cards. I've read the documentations, but failed to find any hints. Does this cards even support Java Card?

The cards came with the reader. Then my bet these are either Mifare 1K (if they have no contacts), or one of these
    http://www.acs.com.hk/index.php?pid=products&id=1
and AFAIK, none are Java Card cards.
    What about
    - telling if the cards have contacts or not;
    - posting the ATR that the reader gives for the card, in contact and contactless mode as applicable?
The later could be interpreted according to the info in the spec, circa page 33.

I have recently purchased the latest ipad. Got to say I am extremely dissapointed that it does not support Java or flash which are platforms needed to do online business banking. I am now faced with ditching an expensive toy for a competitors product that offers full business functionallity. Is there any way round this ? It seems extremely bad form on apples part not to support this or make it very clear of the products limitations at the time of purchase.

Well, my bank has an app but the website does not use Flash or Java.  While my credit union doesn't have an app, their website doesn't require Flash or Java either.
I pay all my bills online, bank, and access my brokerage accounts.  None of the sites I have encountered require Flash or Java.  Some government sites do require Flash so I use Photon, it's a browser that does Flash content very well.  So you might check out some alternatives browsers.
Otherwise I suppose you will either dump you bank, your iPad, or just not do online banking.

i am planing to buy license of premier pro.I wan to capture picture from my camera .which card  i want to install ??

If you're asking about Live Capture, where you record the camera feed direct to hard disk, then you need a Firewire interface or one of the (few) supported HDMI/SDI cards such as the AJA Kona, Matrox MX02 or BlackMagic Intensity Pro - however those have very specific motherboard requirements so you need to research them carefully before buying anything.
For an intro to Live Capture I suggest you read the manual: Adobe Premiere Pro Help | Capturing and digitizing footage

  • ABAP and Java Stack: Which to choose/supported standards and components?

    Hello,
I am trying to understand the role of the two stacks in NW. Maybe anyone has a few
hints where I can find answers to the following questions:
    - An overview of supported Standards (Java 5 since when?)
    - An overview of which component runs on which stack? Portal->Java, Integration Server->ABAP and so on.
    - Guidelines when to install both stacks and when to use just one stack? When do I use which one?
    - Has SAP an stategy towards an one Stack solution (possibly Java?)
Best regards and thanks for any pointers!
    Stefan

An overview of supported Standards (Java 5 since when?)
    Go to service.sap.com/pam
Product Availability Matrix will tell you about supported version and platforms.
An overview of which component runs on which stack? Portal->Java, Integration Server->ABAP and so on.
Usually the question goes the other direction: what stacks we need for implementation of a particular function?
More and more products require ABAP backend and Java frontend.
For example Employee Self Service has been transerred from ABAP only ITS based to ABAP backend and Java frontend.
    Same with SRM.
Guidelines when to install both stacks and when to use just one stack? When do I use which one?
Same as above, driven by business requirements, not technology.
Has SAP an stategy towards an one Stack solution (possibly Java?)
No. Core business functions are still being developed on ABAP and interface, GUI etc utilize JAVA.

    Slava
