Which computers are authorized with Apple ID?
Hello All,
I look at my account (Apple ID) and see that says two computers are authorized with this particular Apple ID. However I have only one laptop (Macbook) so how come I see two? Is Apple TV also recognized as a computer?
Cheers,
Krysia
If you look at your account page in itunes store you can deauthorise all computers associated with your itunes account. Then re authorise your computer using the menu item Store, Authorise this computer. Your Apple TV should be recognised as a Manage Device.

You cannot.
Some people wish there was a way to print out a list of authorized computers that would look like "Suzy's laptop, Dad's Macbook, and the desktop we threw away last year." But there is no way to do so.
It is especially confusing, since a single machine may be using up multiple authorizations. Also, authorizations may be used up by machines that do not even exist any more.
If you are at the limit, you can use the Deauthorize All command, and then reauthorize just the ones you need. -
TS2972 how can i identify which computers are authorized for i tunes
How can I identify which computers are authorized for use with I tunes?
Hi there,
You can't see a list of your authorised computers, but you can see how many are authorised and deauthorise them individually or together.
I've found you a relevent support article which explains all of this:
iTunes Store: About authorization and deauthorization
Hope this helps,

Log into iTunes from your desktop. (Sign in upper right corner of iTunes page.)
On your user name/e-mail (upper right corner) use the drop down menu and select account.
Select manage your devices.

HT1420 how do I find out which computers are authorized on my Apple ID?
I have seemed to have lost track of the computers that are authorized on my Apple ID. In iTunes I can find how many computers are authorized on my ID but no list of computer names.
There is no list available from your end.

How can i tell what computers are authorized with my itunes account?
My iTunes app tells me that I have 5 computers currently authorized with my account. How can I tell which ones they are??? I've checked all of my old desktops and laptops to deauthorize them but they indicate that they were never authorized. Confusing. Why go to the trouble managing how many are authorized if you don't provide a means to list them??? I realize that I can deauthorize them all (the only choice!) but, in doing so and reauthorizing the ones I need, does this mean that I lose the ability to access previously purchased music on them?? I must say that, for the ease of use of the Apple apps, I expected more. Thanks:-) !
You cannot. You can see the number of authorised machines.
Go to itunes Store, Select Account from Quick Links on the right.
If you already have 5 authorised but can't remember which the machines are you have the option of once every 90 days to deauthorize all comuters and then individually reauthorising the ones you want.
On each machine in iTunes Click Store > Authorise this computer -
How can you see what computers are authorized with my account?
Good afternoon. I installed iTunes on my desktop computer at home because I began creating a music library. My first original install was on my laptop and then I decided to add iTunes to my desktop. When I authorized iTunes on my desktop it said it was the third computer that is authorized to play content purchased with this Apple ID.
How do I find out where else I have authorized iTunes? Is there a way in which a person can find out? Does my iTouch count as one?
If I rest the computers authorization will it delete my music library if I did that? I know you can only do it once a year. I am afraid someone else will use my account.
Thank YouIn order to see which devices are authorized on your account:
Open iTunes
Click Store
Click Account
Click View Account
Enter your password
Look in the second section iTunes in the Cloud
To the far right you'll see Manage Devices
Once it's clicked you will see all of the devices currently authorized in iTunes/on your account
I was going to say, "Hope this helps," but based on the above, I'm pretty sure it did!
Thanks guys... -
HT1420 How to view which computers are authorized in iTunes store?
How do I check the iTunes store to see which of my computers are authorized? I have just sold one of my computers and forgot to deauthorize it. Actually, I am not sure it was even authorized. Before I contact the buyer and ask if they will meet so I can deauth, how can I check the iTunes store to confirm that it is or is not authorized?
You can't yourself; you can only check the number of authorized computers and deduct the number of machines you know are authorized.

Which computers are authorized?
I've 4 computers authorized in iTunes. Beats me what two of them are. How can I find out which computers iTunes sees as authorized without deauthorizing everything and starting over? Tks.
You can't find out what they are.
All you can do is as you suggest, de-authorise all and then reauthorise the 2 you know of. -
HT1420 Which Computers are Authorized
I've got 5 computers authorized and I don't know which they are. Can I view a list of the authorized computers? I can't tell if I want to delete them because I don't know which they are.
DKYou can easily discover if a computer is authorised or not by trying to play protected content from the iTunes account on that computer, if the computer is authorised for that account, it will play the content, otherwise it will ask for authorisation.

HT1420 how do I know which computers are authorized
Looking for help on how to know how many computers have my Itunes account as the program says I am maxed out.
Such information is not available.
About De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
Open iTunes on a computer
From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
Also, see iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization. -

I have tried to use the deauthorize all and I have already done this once this year, so I have to wat until September.
Maccbook will not power on, so there is no way I can deauthorize using that computer. You would have to contact itunes support and ask if they will allow anther deauthorize all.

Is there a way to see which computers are authorized before I deauthorize them all?
Not without manually checking each one you suspect might be.
