Which display? Glossy or not?

Hi,
I am going to get a MBP 17", just wondering which screen to pick. Matt or Glossy? Since I can't find any store to have a Glossy demo unit. (no Apple store... I am traveling oversea at this moment) I am a pro photographer, need to use it for photo editing, color correction, etc. So I need the screen to be able to gives out true color.
"At no extra charge, you can choose a glossy widescreen display that lets you view graphics, photos, and videos with greater color contrast." But will this give you too much contrast?

hmm, I don't think I am new to Apple forums, I register a year earlier than you but just don't know why this was my first post? I am sure I post in the forums before, but like years ago.
Anyway, so I guess I should go for the matt screen, since I do have cinema display back home, and right now I am on the road for about 6 months, so using it in all kind of enivorment will be a daily thing for me. So glare is a no no.

I use the matt screen myself, i did have a chance to
demo the glossy screen and even though the
contrast/color is slightly better on those screens
the reflections are very annoying. I also work with
color correcting and still decided to go with the
matt one, at home i use it with a second screen
connected which is calibrated, when i'm not working
at least i can use my MBP in any environment i like,
even outside in the sun/full day light i still see my
screen great which is not the case with the glossy
ones.
If you don't have an external screen to use or if you
work on the road away from home then the glossy
screen might be the best solution as indeed the
color/contrast is better on those but you will need
to find a good place to work since reflections will
bug you.

VBFA has VBELV and POSNV can be used to map VBAP (sales order item) i.e.
VBFA-VBELV = VBAP-VBELN AND
VBFA-POSNV = VBAP-POSNV
with VBTYP_N = J Values available in VBFA-VBELN and VBFA-POSNN will be LIPS -VBELN and LIPS-POSNR
VBTYP_N/ VBTYP_V = J stands for delivery and C stands for order

My iPad Mini with retina display suddenly will not connect to the Internet. It shows full wifi bars, yet no web pages will load. My Internet is working with all other apple devices in my house. The iPad also no longer works with celluar data.

The iPad also no longer works with celluar data. I'm not sure what has happened. It was working fine a few hours ago. I have tried resetting it, ive restarted my browser etc. I tried to erase all data from my Ipad but I can't do that because it needs to sign into my Apple ID and use the Internet!

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. Creating a Folder Within Form or Document Library & Display the name not in the name column.

I have created a form library that will used to create folders within that. The folder creation is done using an InfoPath Form that has been uploaded to the Form Library. When the new folder was created the name will be displayed at the Name column within
the Form Library. I want to change that to another column like documents or suchlike.
Can it be done using InfoPath 2010 VSTA C# or not? If their are other options available please could you try to inform me!

If you want to show the name of folder in another column, a workaround is that you can create an extra column, then create a SharePoint Designer workflow to set the value of
this column with the name of folder.

Is there a way to select which display to use??

I think my problem is OS dependent but i'm still gonna ask...
Code related to this problem is:

I have a computer (running on Win XP) which has two (or more) displays attached (Matrox G550),
do i have a chance to detect amount of displays and if there is more than one display, can i somehow
select in Runtime which display to use to show results of code above?
Matrox solution was "when you run program once in certain display , it should be opened in same
display next time", well... what if i shoud use 2 powerpoints in same time to have x kind of ppt in one
screen and y kind in second screen wich has totally different kind of info what screen x does?
If it's possible with JFrame to decide wich screen to use, i'm almost shure that i can change program to
use pictures instead of external programs.

My apps no longer remember which display to open on. With Mountain Lion, once a window was set up on a particular display and the app was quitted, when reopening, it would be on the same display. Now they all seem to default to the primary display.

I have the settings already inside i.e condition records for both WE01/WE03 and printer settings & assignment of material doc printout in IMG, the output schema does have WE01/02/03 all. When I am running the MB90 Txn, by just entering the output type WE01/03 and the material document year 2009 , processing status 1, I should be able to view all the doc.s which were not printed but I get empty list and I get the message No messages for initial processing exist . After this I did assign the message setting in MB02 by means LP01 & Print with own Txn, now if I run MB90 i do get the Document in MB90 but when I am trying to print preview to view the Stand details in the doc i get the message
Output could not be displayed (it may not be complete) .
Where did i miss?

Hello Experts,
I am getting an error "Output could not be displayed (it may not be complete)" while using Tcode VF31 for multiple invoice printing , but at the same time when i check the same invoice in VF02 or VF03 i can see print preview, but i m not able to see print preview in VF31 for some paricular invoices only.
what would be the problem ?
This is happening when i use 1 First processing
If i use 2 Repeat processing then i get print preview !

Hi,
According to the basics of the Processing Mode:
01 - Corresponds to the First Processing - wherein only with status 0 and send time 3 are taken into consideration.
02 - Corresponds to the Repeat Processing - wherein a message is only selected if it has status 1 or 2 - irrespective of its send time.
I tried running with '02', it doesn't run, instead the message I got is - "No messages for repeat processing exist".
With this what I can understand is that, the documents which are selected with processing mode '01' are the documents which are not processed yet, with possible status of process as '0'.
When you select '02' mode, it will consider only the successfully processed documents without errors.
This is the basic difference and so you are receiving the message.

Your friend did the pretty much standard procedure to see if any files can be read and retrieved from the failed hdd. There are data recovery companies out there but they aren't cheap. It is always advisable to have an external usb hdd for backup.
All hdds fail after time ,though laptop hdds seem to have a higher/faster failure rate due to the confined case and extra heat. SATA hdds seem to die much faster than the older Ide type drives in laptops and desktops from what I have seen.
Not uncommon to see posts about a laptop hdd dying after 1-1 1/2 years,though I have been fortunate with mine which is 3 yrs old. I do use a laptop cooling pad under mine which may contribute to it's longer life.

How can I rotate my video which displays sideways to vertical in PSE 7?
It's a waterfall, I filmed it vertically, but it displays horizontally. Full Edit doesn't work on film clips and the rotate option is greyed out.

Using two external displays that are NOT mirrored

i have a MBP early 2008, meaning the external display port is a dual DVI-I port. I have have two external displays, both samsung syncmaster xl2370 with native resolution 1920x1080. i have a dual dvi-i to vga splitter. when i connect both displays, they mirror one another, which is not what i want. rather, i want to have my MBP display, and two external displays that are not mirror images of one another. according to apple, if i buy a dual dvi-i to dvi splitter, i get the same effect. i've read on various forums about hardware alternatives, like buying a usb to dvi or usb to vga adapter, with some reasonable results (except a bit of sluggishness). the best one seems to be the diamond: http://www.diamondmm.com/BVU195.php
it mostly gets good reviews, but is sluggish. does any know of any better options?

USB is slow partly because it is processor and driver dependent. Best to go with a straight video solution, such as Matroxes products like this one: http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/dh2go/

In ECC 6.0 the report RHXSTR00 display list does not have download option

i'm running a std report RHXSTR00 which displays org. structure. my problem before upgradation i'e., in 4.6c we have menu list->download ,so we can down load to local file.but current version ECC 6.0 ,we d't have menu list->download. i have to put that menu.
i tried for download code in 4.6c by debugging , the down load function code
is "%PC" which is not there through out the code .
help me , i have to add menu in ecc 6.0 same as 4.6c

Still I am getting the same error. I am using IE 7.0 browser. In my service I have the following parameters in SE80 as well as in the SAP GUI Config in SICF.
~ITSMOBILE 1
~THEME 99
~TRANSACTION LM00
I have published the complete service and it published successfully to INTERNAL site.
My custom service is active in SICF.
When I test the service, IE can not display the page.
Do we need to activate any other standard service?
Or Do we need to set some additional parameters to the service?
Do I need to make any special settings in the IE 7.0?

There are around 40+ Standard roles in EP7. If you logon with J2ee_admin you can see all the roles attached to a user under user Management Tab.

To display detals of not assigned Costelements in Query

Dear All,
I need to create a query on not assigned costelement hierarchy and broadcast the output through E-mail.
The query I created, displays the not assigned costelements under a separate node (filtered in query as #) but the problem is that the not assigned cost elements appear as u201C#u201D.
I want to get the details of these not assigned cost elements i.e. the query should display which cost elements are not assigned in the hierarchy. I couldnu2019t find the node REST_H (which I believe is created automatically for not assigned elements) in my hierarchy. How do I display the not assigned costelements in my query ?
One way I could think of is to compare the master data table and the hierarchy table of the InfoObject 0Costelement. The entries which are present in the master data table but not in the hierarchy tables are the unassigned costelements I am looking for.
Any standard way or a much simpler way of achieving this ?

But the option "Suppress 'Unassigned' Node" is used to either display not-assigned node or not.
But my requirement is to mandatorily display not-assigned node with the "DETAILS" of not-assigned costelements. I believe that by default the not-assigned costelement appears as # in the query. I want the details...i.e. which costelements are not-assigned.

IE display data, but not FF/Opera

I've never quite dealt with anything like this before...I'll
do my best to explain it.
My Flash file takes info from a DB through PHP and displays
them into several different radio buttons. IE displays the
information correctly, but FF/Opera do not. I tried using static
data, which displays fine in all browsers. But for some reason this
dynamic data I'm trying to put into the radiobuttons does not want
to display in FF/Opera.
I was told by one individual it could be a font issue. I
didn't preload any fonts. Regardless, I kept the radio buttons but
used dynamic text fields to display the data. Again, the same exact
thing occured. I have the same version of Flash Player installed in
all browsers (according to this site).
Can anyone possibly explain to me why this is happening?
Again, it's not a question of the data not getting to Flash because
it shows up fine in IE. Even if I make changes to the text I want
displayed, it shows up correctly for IE, not FF/Opera.
Really hoping someone can put an end to my misery.

If you use a dynamic text font AND your system has that font
AND you don't do any kind of tweening or effects on it, it should
display ok. If you have the dynamic text moving around or
effects on it you need to embed it's font outlines to keep it from
disappearing. To embed font outlines, open up the properties
window for the text and click on the 'character' button. Embed font
outline.
