Which document types are supported?

Hi!
I'm trying to answer an RFI and need to specify a list of supported document types that can be indexed. The answer "more than 150 file formats..." is not good enough. There must be a list somewhere...

  • Which document type for special PO

    Hi,
Which document type should be used if I want to select all receipts on the purchase order placed by an external vendor?
    /Marc

    Hi,
If your question is correct and if I understand it correctly, you are asking about a document type of PO, used by a Vendor to create for you...and receipts of such POs generated....To find receipts of such document, you wanted document type....if this is correct, it could be one of the follwoing:
    1) Either you have a work around solution if you are using standard SAP R/3 or ECC
So, in your project there may be a document type created to let the vendor create POs for you ....for which there must  be a document type created...that you only can track it...to track it, there are many ways...you may find those out from first EKKO using user ID provided to external vendors to create POs for you.....Then run those PO#s from the result in ME2N or ME2k etc...by selecting appropriate selection parameters...(for example WE101)
    2) If you are using SCM solution of SAP, it may be supplier collaboration hub
    3) SUS - Supplier Self Service of SRM.....
In all the above cases, you can still find the result as explained in STEP#1 above

  • Whether timestamp types are supported in oracle dynamic sql?

Oracle has two dynamic sql models. The old and the new ANSI model. I wish to know where and how the timestamp oracle data types are supported.
I am having trouble setting the timestamp data through pro*c using old dynamic sql. I tried to set it to raw 11 bytes and use type 187 (timestamp) and it segfaults! I try now to set it to string type and oracle says invalid month! I tried even using nls_timestamp_format setting but no luck. Obviously some thing is amiss.
    Can some body help me?
I need this info rather urgently.
    Thanks.

    Yes it is possible
    TO_DATE(:variable,'FORMAT') in dynamic SQL

  • Which XSLT versions are support by Oracle BPEL? v1.1  or v2.0?

Which XSLT versions are support by Oracle BPEL? v1.1 or v2.0?
As far as I heard v1.1 is the highest version but some functions of v2.0 are supported as well.
    Is this true?
If yes: Which XSLT functions of v2.0 are supported?
Does it matter if I change the
    version="1.1"
    attribute in the topmost
    <xsl:stylesheet......>
    tag?
    Which XSLT processor is built-in/used?
    Peter

XSL mapper in BPEL supports 1.0 only in-built. And this is true for 11g also. However, we can declare <xsl:stylesheet version = 2.0 ... and use all xpath 2.0 functions. I have used few of them and has been successful so far. Once you declare version as 2.0 the only issue will be that XSL's visual GUI mapper will not work in JDeveloper and you will need to modify the code from the source.

  • Which Query features are supported

    Hello together,
does somebody know if there is a existing list of the supported Bex Query features
with the new BICS connectivity (Direct connect from Xcelsius 2008 to BW Queries)
    Thank you
    Best Regards
    Mike

    Hello Mike,
There will soon be a detailed article on this, available from [https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/Xcelsius2008andSAPNetWeaverBIConnection] .
Going through your list, here are quick comments :
    SAP Variables - Variable Type
    - Single Value
    - Multiple Single Value
    - Range Value
    All variable types are supported
    Text Variable
    - Keydate Variable
    - Currency Variable
    All of them are supported
    Query Features
    - Support for single Hierarchies
    - Support for multiple Hierarchies
You will get prompted by a hierarchy variable but overall, hierarchy support is limited because there is no built-in tree control in Xcelsius ; there are components available from Partners though.
    - Support for Calculated Keyfigures
    - Support for Restricted Keyfigures
    Yes, supported
    - Support for Multiple Structures
    - Support for Formulas

  • Which application servers are supporting JSF Technology

please let me know which application servers are supporting Java Server Faces Technology, and shall i use the combination of JSF with EJB. if so how can i do?

    Hi Varam99,
I doubt you will get an official word on who is supporting but you can look at the list of participants in the expert group and get a good feel for who is interested.
As far as using JSF with EJB's you should look at http://www.corej2eepatterns.com/Patterns2ndEd/BusinessDelegate.htm -- the business delegate pattern. I have also posted several times here on this list WRT this issue of accessing business logic from your JSF application. You can search on 'accessing business logic'.
I also posted a presentation I gave at the http://www.nofluffjuststuff.com -- Chicago event. You can see the slides on my blog @ http://bill.dudney.net/roller/page/bill/20030917#jakarta_pitfalls_real_world_jsf.
    Hope this helps.

  • Which file formats are supported bij iPhoto?

Which file formats are supported bij iPhoto?
Where is this kind of info written?

There is no comprehensive list released by Apple that I am aware of.
Here is what the help menu says: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iPhoto/8.0/en/6303.html
For best results I stick to JPEG, PNG, TIFF, GIF which are fairly universal standard formats.
If you are working with RAW here is a list of supported RAW cameras: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3825
Was there a particular format you were trying to use?

  • Oracle Linux as Guest OS in Oracle VM (which all kernel are supported.)

    Hi,
currently Oracle packages two different kernels with Oracle Linux (Redhat compatible kernel and UEK). so when running Oracle Linux as guest on Oracle VM server which are the kernel are supported???
    Thanks,
    Inbaraj

Thanks for your reply... i understand that Oracle kernel is better than Red Hat compatible kernel, but RHCK is still bundled with OL , that's where my question started whether RHCK is supported as guest in OVM?

  • Document types - wildcard support?

My understanding of iFS is that I can define an XML document type, and after that any documents of that type would be automatically parsed for me. In another message there was a note that currently wildcards aren't supported. I'm not clear on this. How about this example: I have an XML document 'order.xml', that I 'define' into iFS. Subsequently any documents called order.xml will be parsed - right?
ok, but what wouldn't work is sending documents called order100.xml, order101.xml... because I'd have to define the format for each one? Right?
Thanks! I can't get the *()& thing to work, so I'm going at this by just reading.

Wildcards don't work in the Parser mapping tables. Eg you cannot map x* to a particular parser.

  • Which Texture type is supported on which device

    Hi ,
How to get the supported texture type from PVRTC / DXT5 / ETC1 in the as3 application , I want to load the texture dynamically and i don't want to embed all the textures in one image.

    Hi Anurag,
    >>I want to write a simple functionality to know if filetype/MIME type is supported on device.
It seems like that there are some misunderstanding here, if a filetype can be opened by an app, it does not mean that the OS supports this type, it should be in application level.
I think you expect that there are some places to store all supported filetype/mime type in OS, but I've not heard that the OS forced an application to register supported filetype/mims type.
So your idea is good, but firstly, as far as I know, there is no such API to retrieve all available file types, secondly, even if there are some ways, they should not get all information you expected.

  • Which usage types are charged to my bill?

Last month I had the following usage type totals for my main cell phone:
    Minutes by Usage Type Report
    PlanAllow,PromoAllow
    8
    PlanAllow
    289
    Overage
    40
    N&W
    18
    PlanAllow,CallVM
    3
    M2MAllow
    158
    N&W,CallVM
    2
    PromoAllow,PartAllow,Overage
    9
    PromoAllow
    18
    Total
    545
The total on my bill was 342 minutes and I can't figure out which types are included in that total.  I was told that any type with 'PlanAllow' or 'Overage' would be included, but that adds up to 329 if I only count the 'PlanAllow' and 'Overage' figures.  If I also include the other types that have 'PlanAllow..' + additional, e.g. 'PlanAllow,PromoAllow', I get 349.  So where does the 342 come from?

Since you've asked, we have the
    NATIONWIDE TALK SHARE 1400
    Includes:
    Monthly Account Access Charge
Monthly Line Access Charge for 3 lines
    1400 Shared Monthly Allowance Minutes
Per Minute Rate After Allowance: $0.40/min.  Peak ,  $0.40/min.  Off-Peak
I'm not sure why it would make any difference which plan.  I'm a software developer and typically there are uniform algorithms based upon fields like Usage Type that determine what's included and what's not included in a total.  I'm not sure why Verizon doesn't just add a column in the data they provide that would indicate whether particular call's minutes are included in the bill or not, unless they're trying to obfuscate the numbers so that customers get frustrated in trying to figure out how Verizon calculates the total minutes that can be charged at the exorbitant $0.40/min. rate.
The numbers I've posted were for just one of our three phones and our overages for that month added up to $110.  I had recently reduced our plan from 1400 to 700 minutes, but in doing so I had to give up the Friends and Family program.  With that much overage I really wanted to be able to analyze where the overages were coming from, but based upon the data provided I can't.  I've subsequently increased my plan back to 1400 minutes even though we are usually well under 700.  To Verizon's credit, they were willing to waive the difference of the overage minutes and what it would have cost if I had kept the 1400 plan, but I'd still like to be able to reconcile their provided data and analytic tools to my bills so that we can manage our calling behaviors in a way so that we don't end up paying for an extra 700 minutes per month that we don't use.

  • What image types are supported in iMovie?

I'm going on a trip with a group of youth, and I'm wanting to send video updates back to their family members during the trip. I've gotten an image to sync to my iPhone 4, and I can import it into iMovie, but while it shows the photo at the bottom, it won't actually show the image in the movie preview area?
Importing photos that were taking on the iPhone works, as does taking a photo directly from iMovie, but I want to add some special graphics into the Movie itself.
Is there a way to tell what formats are supported? The image was made in gimp, 700x300 @ 150dpi exported as a PNG and as a JPG, but neither of them work.

I'm not sure if you tried this, but here it goes:
_ Using your Mac, make a copy of your Graphic / image to your Desktop
_ Launch "Preview" on your Mac
_ Save the file as a JPG
    _ Quit "Preview"
_ Copy this newly saved JPG to "iPhoto"
    _ Quit "iPhoto"
    _ Launch "iTunes"
_ Plug your iPhone4 via USB
_ From "iTunes", select the iPhone4 and go to the Photos Tab.
_ Make sure the Event or Album of the Graphics/iMage you created above, is Checked
    _ Sync your iPhone
Now from your iPhone4, verify that you can add this photo into iMovie.

  • A Way to Tell Which rules (filter types) are supported by iTunes Match

There are tons of posts about issues with iTunes Match smart playlists not working as expected. I am facing these issues myself--hearing the same song several days in a row even when the playlist rule says to exclude if played within 60 days.
Anyway, I think I found a way to tell which rules Apple is intending to support. Device will output to its console the unsupported rule. One way to view the console is with iPhone Configuration Utility.
    1. Install iPhone Configuration Utility (iPCU) - https://www.apple.com/support/iphone/enterprise/
    2. Attach your iTunes Match enabled iOS device.
    3. In iPCU, select the device (under DEVICES), then pick the 'Console' tab on top.
    4. Change any smart playlist in iTunes. This seems to cause it to sync the change to iCloud immediately.
In my case I was seeing this:
    Oct  2 14:18:03 Kris-iPhone-4S itunescloudd[6392] <Warning>: unhandled match type: unfilterable type kITDBTrackField_CloudStatus (134)
    Oct  2 14:18:03 Kris-iPhone-4S itunescloudd[6392] <Warning>: unhandled match type: unfilterable type kITDBTrackField_CloudStatus (134)
    Oct  2 14:18:05 Kris-iPhone-4S itunescloudd[6392] <Warning>: unhandled match type: unfilterable type kITDBTrackField_CloudStatus (134)
    Oct  2 14:18:05 Kris-iPhone-4S itunescloudd[6392] <Warning>: unhandled match type: unfilterable type kITDBTrackField_CloudStatus (134)
I had two Smart Playlists using 'iCloudStatus is' rule. When I deleted one of them I got
    Oct  2 14:19:51 Kris-iPhone-4S itunescloudd[6402] <Warning>: unhandled match type: unfilterable type kITDBTrackField_CloudStatus (134)
    Oct  2 14:19:51 Kris-iPhone-4S itunescloudd[6402] <Warning>: unhandled match type: unfilterable type kITDBTrackField_CloudStatus (134)
When I deleted the other, I didn't have any entries like this.
(I am guessing that they are removed in pairs because I have two devices with iTunes Match? Or there is one playlist on the device and one in the cloud? Not sure, but anyway...)
Despite this find, there are still problems. I am having issues even with playlists that didn't have this rule, so I'm not surprised.
It seems to ignore these rules (that I care about):
    - Is Checked (completely ignores)
    - Last Played - not in the last - X (seems to sometimes work...I am hearing the same songs every day
Also after a few songs, it seems to get stuck on one song as if Repeat 1 is being used, but it's not...several times a day.

When I wrote this I was hoping there were only a few issues with iTunes Match, iOS 6, and Smart Playlists. I was still trying to troubleshoot them and hoped to live with the limitations.
However, the problems are very fundamental. Basic stuff like using Last played and random as criteria are just not working. iTunes and iPhone playlists don't match at all, which is odd if all the logic is in the cloud.
I filed 4 bugs about 3 weeks ago and none have been updated.
Today I contacted Apple Support and after a few minutes wait, the rep acknowledged that iTunes Smart Playlists aren't really working as expected today and there is no estimated date when it will work. She was not sure if this was a new problem for iOS 6.
We agreed that the best thing might be to request a refund. Here's how:
    http://expresslane.apple.com
iTunes>iTunesStore>Purchases,Billing, andRedeption>"The topic is not listed", etc...
I also mentioned that this page is misleading:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/
Will my playlists sync across devices?
Yes. When you create, edit, or delete a playlist on your Mac, PC, iPhone, or iPad, those changes will sync across any iTunes Match-enabled device you own.
My guess is that when the new version (major update) of iTunes is released, this stuff will be changed and supported again. The number of people using Smart Playlist on iTunes Match must not be important enough.

  • Which Hebrew fonts are supported in ePub?

During several weeks I have been trying to find out an intelligible list of Hebrew fonts available for use in epub 2/3.
Still, no one "special" font from Israel fontmaker vendors has not been embedded successfully. Only simple system fonts like Arial, Adobe Hebrew and Times fonts are looking good. But that's pretty ugly font types, and it's very very narrow list. Come on, how can I design Hebrew books in more or less respectable way?
    1. Which system fonts can be used for epub design?
    2. What's the problem of embedding third-party fonts (good ones, not free) into epub? (css describes them well, but it has never been visualised in epub as required being replaced by default fonts)
    Thank,

This answer was posted by Ariel in the wrong thread. I mentioned to Ariel so he could post it here but I guess he didn't get the message. So I'm just copy/pasting it for you:
[Ariel] Jul 6, 2014 8:48 AM (in response to Pam Bourdon)
Just tested, and had no difficulty embedding Fontbit Rokoko into an
ePub. It displayed fine in Readium. Adobe Digital Editions does not
support RTL, so the text was back to front, but there also the font
    itself was fine.
    I haven't tested in iBooks.
So it seems to me that InDesign has no problem embedding Hebrew fonts in
ePubs -- the problem is more likely to be on the part of the ePub
reader, which is not displaying them properly.
