Which Driver I Can Install for Bluetooth

Hi, I am Ashish Joshi and using this forum for first time. I have Pavillion g4 2049 tx. I never used my bluetooth from from last 3 years but today i wanted to send some songs to my phone . So i click on the Bluetooth sign in taskbar and tried to search for a device , but my device didn't show up. then i thought maybe there is some problem with my phone (It was undiscoverable ) . then after making it discoverable nothing happened and again it shows no device found. Then i checked my device manager and there was no bluetooth radios option there but there was some Generic Bluetooth Adapter and Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator under Bluetooth Section. So please help me to find appropriate driver for bluetooth. When i visited hp website for drivers there was like 3 or 4 bluetooth drivers was there. So I dont know what to do.Please help me.  Thanks,

Hi: You install the corresponding model bluetooth driver for the model wireless card your notebook has. If you do not know what model wireless card your notebook has, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device category and there you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter (card). Then download the driver you need from your notebook's support and driver page. http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-g4-2000-Notebook-PC-series/5226238/model/5336737

Yesterday, I tried a SEAGATE SSHD but my screen was always a showing a QUESTION MARK (?). It's not the cable because when I put back the old original version, everything works...Any sugestion of brabnding or procédure to upgrade my hard drive?

The largest 2.5" dia SATA drives available are 2 TB in capacity.
Have you tried the Seagate SSHD connected externally to the MBP via USB?  The drive itself may be faulty.
    Ciao.

    HI..
Read here >  Requirements for Mac OS X v10.5
Your Mac meets the requirements but make sure there's enough free disk space.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure there's a minimum of 15% free disk space.

    Hi HarmitClaire,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that your MacBook Air is not charging as expected. In this situation there are troubleshooting steps that I would recommend. Please use the attached article as a resource for steps to help you resolve this situation.
Mac notebooks: All about batteries - Apple Support
    My battery is not charging
Confirm the correct wattage AC adapter for the computer. A power adapter rated for a lower wattage than is required for the system may not reliably charge the computer. For assistance identifying the proper adapter, review Intel Based Mac notebooks: Identifying the right power adapter and power cord--US. Additional adapter troubleshooting is available in Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters. If issues persist please reset the SMC.
    Best regards,
    Joe

  • What's the largest size hard drive you can install in a MacBook 2010 and does it matter if it's a apple hard drive

what the largest size hard drive you can install in your MacBook 2010 and does it matter of its a Mac hard drive are not

You could theoretically upgrade to a 1TB HDD and brand really doesn't matter as long as it's a 2.5" SATA HDD.  However I would probably shoot for a 500GB or 750GB.  If you want some performance increase as well go for a 7200RPM drive, but just know that you will lose some of your battery life as well.  If that's a trade-off you don't really care about then go for the 7200RPM drive.

  • What is largest solid state drive I can install in MacBook Pro 8,2?  I want to perform a clean install of Mavricks and dump my old hard drive.

If the bank account permits, I suggest getting a 1 TB SSD anyway.  One cannot have too much storage.
Unless you are having issues with your current installation, a 'clean' install is not necessary.  It would be more efficient to clone your current drive to the new SSD, test it, and then do the swap.  The installation of Mavericks over Snow Leopard can be done either before or after the cloning process.
    Ciao.

  • Which driver do I need for Broadcom4311?

    Hello,
I'm using a dell Inspirion E1505, with a Broadcom4311 chipset. I read in the wiki and apparently I have a few options:
    1. ndiswrapper - will use as a last resort only, I prefer to find a more linux-y solution
    2. BCM4312 driver which apparently works for my 4311
    2. broadcom -wl
    3. b43
My question is, which driver is the best for my hardware? Apparently all work (according to the "supported cards" in the wiki) but I'm interested to know which is the most optimal driver. I heared BCM4312 doesn't support hidden ESSID, and I'd like to have that capability but is it that impotent?

    Use b43.

  • Which driver on the Install DVD is for HFS+ read in Windows?

I installed Windows 7 Enterprise x64 on my MacBook of course about a week before Snow Leopard was released and have already gone through the tedious, time consuming process of getting all of the Windows drivers working for Win7x64. I really don't want to go through installing all of the various drivers again one by one (especially since I JUST did this) until I see the MAC partition in my Windows side (BootCamp) if at all possible... so does anyone know WHICH driver it is that will allow the HFS+ partition read? I really don't want to mud up my fresh Win7 installation by re-installing every BootCamp driver from the AppleOS CD. Thank you guys in advance, I really appreciate the help.

Yes Windows can, Leopard comes with the drivers for Windows to view HFS+. It does not need 3rd party software anymore as I have personally done this on another mac in the office. I went through and installed ALL drivers all at the same time though, so I don't know which one is the one that allows this. In Windows, it displays the MAC partitions as drive letters and you can read the partitions, you cannot write, just like NTFS.

  • Which driver should I use for Oracle RAC .....

We are using Weblogic 8.1 sp2 and Oracle RAC (9.x). Which driver , I should

    type 2 Oracle OCI driver
    or
    type 4 oracle thin driver

Joe, I have always suggested that people use the OCI driver

How come you choose the thin driver? Oracle will generally
fix the OCI driver before the thin and the OCI driver will
give far superior performance when dealing with LOBs.We have actually had faster response getting thin driver fixes
than OCI-based fixes. Thats interesting. I'll take note of it.
The 10g driver works with RAC, is much faster than previous
drivers, and is easier to install etc. OCI users are often
hopeful about TAF, which is broken and less-than-useless for
active complicated JDBC applications. OCI problems can bring
down the whole JVM and are harder to debug.
These are from reading the results and recommendations of
Oracle Corporation, Tom Kyte and other Oracle professionals.
Have you research to say different? I'd like to see it,
because up until now, I've always suggested OCI first unless
the client doesn't have an oracle client installation
available.Tom does an excellent job from the DBMS perspective, but I
don't see him often in the jdbc arena. His Q&A site is littered with jdbc examples. He also will call
on people in specific expertise to help him answer questions.
Here an example of that where he show the OCI driver to be much
    more performant.

I'm trying to upgrade my intel iMac 24" after an HD failure by installing the biggest drive I can using ifixit.com for guidance. I've not done this before but trust the guide and now have the necessary tools. Need advice on best make and size to maximise performance. Also want to upgrade memory to at least 4GB. Is there any advantage in installing 4GB +2GB?

  • What is the largest and fastest Hard Drive I can install in a 17" I-7 Mac Book Pro running Final Cut Pro7 7

What is the Largest and Fastest Hard drive that can be installed in my 17" Mac Book Pro i7 duo core 2.8 I need it to be compatible with Final Cut Pro 7

    One of these SSDs:
    http://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/SSDMX6G480/
An SSD is always a faster storage solution. A regular hard drive will almost ALWAYS be the bottleneck in a system, because it's the only part in a computer that has physical, moving parts. The SSD has no moving parts, so there's much less latency when reading and writing. That particular SSD is designed with professionals in mind, meaning that it will right at home rendering video in Final Cut. Hope that helps!
