Which driver used to work on scrollable resultsets?
Is performence good using scrollable resultsets?
What about database connection ?Is that opended long time?otherwise how it retrieves updatable records?

You need a driver that is compliant with the JDBC 2.0 API to work with scrollable result sets. I'm not sure about performance issues of scrollable vs. non-scrollable..

If you are sharing the same iCloud account any data you sync with the account (such as contacts) is merged, and any actions you take on one device (such as deleting contacts) also takes place on the device(s) sharing the account. To fix this, you need to be on separate iCloud accounts.
One of you needs to migrate their iCloud data to a separate iCloud account/ID. In your situation, this might be able to do with his phone. To do this, go to Settings>iCloud on his phone, tap Delete Account, choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Then sign back in with a separate ID and choose Merge to upload the data to the new account.
Once you are on separate accounts, you can sign into each account separately on icloud.com and delete the other person's data from each account.
To get the contacts on you iPad into your husband's iPhone and iCloud account, make sure his phone has Contacts turned to On in Settings>iCloud. Download the app My Contacts Backup on your iPad and use this to back up your contacts as an attachment to an email. Send this email to your husband. Have him open it on his phone and tap the attachment to import the contacts to his phone, and to his iCloud account.

If your Macbook Pro (MBP) came preinstalled with OS X Lion (10.7), you can use Internet Recovery to reinstall it.
You will need an Internet connection.
Restart your Mac using Command+Option+R until you see a spinning globe. This will boot into Apple's server and load their Recovery HD.
From the OS X Utilities menu, select Reinstall OS X. You should see a Lion logo to the left of this option.
If your MBP came preinstalled with OS X Snow Leopard you will need the DVD and an external CD/DVD drive to use to install it.
You may also be able to put your MBP into Target Mode with another Mac running a version of OS X that is compatible with your MBP. From that other Mac download OS X from the App Store and point to your MBP (Target Mode) to install to. I've never tried this but it sounds like it might work.

My 4TB G-Drive failed after (Firewire) installation of Maverick. A 1TB G-drive using USB works. What next?

I have an IMac running OS X 10.9.1.
I purchased a new 4TB G-Drive. After installation with Time Machine the drive correctly made backups for about 2 weeks. I installed Maverick.
Then I began to see the message “Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while creating the backup folder”
I called G-Technology. Using the erase function of Disc Utility we received the message “Disk erase failed. Disk Erase failed with the error: Couldn’t unmount disk”. It was determined that the disk was bad and I returned it to the vendor.
A second and then a third disk experienced similar failures after only two backups. G-Technology then said the problem was a computer problem
I called Apple support and allowed them access to my computer. After their intervention the disk worked for two backups and then failed.
I purchased a 1 TB G-Drive yesterday.
I thought I would give it a test and so I made it the backup drive for time machine. It made a primary backup and has been continuing to back up without the feared error message.
I went to the internet and have discovered that my problem has been experienced by others. It only occurs after an upgrade to Maverick.
It also only occurs with a Firewire connection.
The new drive has a USB connector. It works fine.
What next?

My External Hard Drive used to work on my Macbook Pro but it has now stopped working?

I was using a Seagate Expansion Portable Drive which used to work on my mac just fine.
but lately the hard drive will start humming once I connect it to the mac and then but it wont show up under devices and the blue light on the hard drive wont light up.
I have checked my USB ports, and they are all working fine.

One can't read the other.
Just to be clear Mac's can read/write FAT32 but windows cannot use OS X Extended. So to use a drive on both systems it needs to be formatted FAT32
FAT32 does have limitations and possibly the best solution is to use NTFS, a more modern, robust filesystem. The drawback here is that OS X does not natively read NTFS so a third party kernel extension is needed.

Ojdbc6 driver does not work with hibernate 3 and c3p0

I am trying to connect to the 11g database through hibernate and c3p0. When I use ojdbc14 as my driver, it is connecting properly. But when I try using ojdbc6, it is failing saying Invalid username password, even though I specify the correct credentials. Can you please help me with this?

I don't know what your problem actually was. I do know that I have had problems with putting jars into the extensions directory. And those problems were because the extensions directory isn't precisely "part of the classpath". (Regardless of careless people who say "Put X into the extensions directory because it's part of your classpath.")
Classes in the extensions directory are loaded by a classloader which doesn't have access to anything which is in the real classpath. Normally that isn't a problem for things like JDBC drivers, but for things which you expect to work with classes you put in the classpath, they fail because they can't load classes from the classpath.
So I don't see why a JDBC driver should have that kind of problem, especially with getting authentication parameters. I would think that Hibernate (which is in your classpath, right?) could talk to the JDBC driver in the extensions directory with no problem. One possibility is that you put it in the extensions directory for some other JRE than the one you were using to run your application, but that's just speculation. I don't really have any idea.

PHP include call used to work, doesn't now, and my ISP blames me...help?

Here's the deal: I have a website, www.website.com which has a sub-domain, subdomain.website.com. I use one CSS file for both sites, the subdomain calls to the main website. Likewise, I pull graphics from the main site that appear on the subdomain. Everything works swimmingly.
I also have a navbar that is common to both sites. For simplicity, the navbar is in an includes folder in the main site's root directory. I do this so that changes made to the navbar can be instantaneous across both sites. I avoid having to upload includes files to BOTH sites every time I change one of them. Here's how I call it in the code:

This USED TO WORK JUST FINE. Not long ago, pages in the subdomain are no longer able to call the navbar from the includes folder on the main site. I get three <function include> errors where there ought to be the navbar. I contacted my ISP (Network Solutions) and they blame it on 'custom coding' which is absurd as I haven't altered the code on these pages in months...far before the problem occurred.

Your hosting company is quite correct in blaming you, although it should probably have explained why it no longer works.
Since PHP 5.2, there have been two security directives: allow_url_fopen, which is on by default, and allow_url_include, which is off by default.
Including a file directly from a URL is a major security risk, which is why allow_url_include is turned off. If you want to include content from a URL, you must retrieve it using a file function, such as file_get_contents(), and run your own security checks on it before including it in a page.

The Photosmart 7960 Photo Printer does not have full support in Windows 7. There is no driver available to download on the hp site, but instead there is a limited driver built into the Windows 7 operating system. What this means is that basic print functionality will work for your product in Windows 7, but you might lose some other functionalities. BPM: Issue with Collect Idocs in Production which is used to work in Test.

We are using BPM for our interface to collect the idocs,
- Header Idoc will consists of number of bundles of Detail idocs.
- Each bundle consists of 100 Details Idocs..
We used packet size as 100 in ECC partner profile and Idoc package as 100 in Sender Idoc adapter in PI.
Example for 103 idocs,
header idoc will send count as 2 (100 and 3).
Detail Idocs will come in two 2 bundles(2 message ids), with 100 in one message id and 3 in another message id.
we used BPM to collect all the detail idocs before mapping to final target message.
The interface is working fine in our test system, but it is not working in production.
The interface is working fine for the idocs less than 100. Problem is only when the count is more than 100.
We compared BPM in both test and production and we didn't find any difference in the process steps.
Anyone has any idea what might be wrong ?

I am taking courses online and the newer version of firefox 4.0 isn't compatible with the java, which I use on my web page. And I need to go back to the older version of 3.614. How do I reverse to what I had before?

I need to get another version of firefox other than 4.0. due to the version not compatible or is unknown to the java I'm using on my web for online classes.

In most cases you can simply "upgrade" (meaning downgrade) directly from the installation. It would be a good idea to save your passwords & bookmarks just to be on the safe side.

I just installed OS X10.8 on my iMac 2.66Ghz, now I cannot use Apple Works or Photoshop CS and a few other programs.

Is it possible to install OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard on an external HDD so I can boot from it? I would like to reinstall my old programms and files on the external drive so I can access them and work on them as they are an ongoing project.

Just reinstall the backup you made before updating to Mountain Lion. Next time it would pay to check if old software will run on new system platforms. Your issues have been known about and very well documented over the past two years or more. Snow Leopard is still a good OSX and works well for those not willing to update their software programs.
