Which driver?

I have an nvidia 6200 and I cannot figure out which driver to use, I think it would be the 71xx but I want to make sure before I try and mess something up.
Thanks

I'm not an nvidia user, but 71xx are legacy drivers to my knowledge, like, 16mb legacy.
96xx is legacy too, it looks like GeForce3 era, which is old.
I believe you're able to use the plain old 'nividia' package.

  • Which Driver for MS SQL-Server 2000

    Hello,
i need to access a MS SQL-Server 2000 and want to ask which driver you think is the best one for this problem.
I am not a big fan of using beta-Software, and i do not need the newest state-of-the-art features. Right now i also do not need Connection-Pooling.
Only a few SQL SELECT/UPDATE-Statements nothing more.
But maybe in not far away future, Conn-Pooling and Procedure-Calls could be interesting. And i think Type 3 or 4 would be the best decision.
The Software will run on NT, but i do not want to use the JDBC/ODBC-Bridge, because it is so unbelievable slow.
I am interested in WHICH DRIVER you USE, AND especially which drivers you DO NOT USE ANYMORE, and why.
It would be great, if anyone could help me, finding the best solution.
P.S.: The price of the driver: It would be good, when it is for free. But if you know a good commercial driver i am also interested in.
P.P.S: Yes, i have searched for drivers under http://servlet.java.sun.com/products/jdbc/drivers. But there are 37 different Type 3/4 drivers.

You can try the jtds project .Search for it in www.sourceforge.net. It is derived from FreeTDS JDBC driver. Both of them are Type 4 JDBC drivers. So far I have tried both of them a few years ago. And jtds is more updated (during those time, not sure what the status is right now)
Or, you can get Microsofts own JDBC driver

  • Which driver on the Install DVD is for HFS+ read in Windows?

I installed Windows 7 Enterprise x64 on my MacBook of course about a week before Snow Leopard was released and have already gone through the tedious, time consuming process of getting all of the Windows drivers working for Win7x64. I really don't want to go through installing all of the various drivers again one by one (especially since I JUST did this) until I see the MAC partition in my Windows side (BootCamp) if at all possible... so does anyone know WHICH driver it is that will allow the HFS+ partition read? I really don't want to mud up my fresh Win7 installation by re-installing every BootCamp driver from the AppleOS CD. Thank you guys in advance, I really appreciate the help.

Yes Windows can, Leopard comes with the drivers for Windows to view HFS+. It does not need 3rd party software anymore as I have personally done this on another mac in the office. I went through and installed ALL drivers all at the same time though, so I don't know which one is the one that allows this. In Windows, it displays the MAC partitions as drive letters and you can read the partitions, you cannot write, just like NTFS.

  • Which driver to use in the BPM Configuration Steps?

    Hi,
I´m in the BPM configuration steps and we will use BPM on a Weblogic Server, I´m in the step when you need to create to JDBC Data Sources for the Enterprise and Directory Databases, do you know which driver shoul I use? should it be XA o Non-XA?
    Thanx in Advanced!
    Kind Regards,
    Gerardo J

Since there are no drivers, you can create your own, request one, use the Instrument I/O Assistant, or hope someone has one and posts it here. For help on creating one or requesting one, see the main Instrument Driver Network page. As long as you are familiar with the instrument and have the manual, creating a driver is not that hard.

  • How to identify which drive is the current boot drive?

I have a PowerBook running Leopard, and I prefer to boot from the external drive. It's bigger and has my working files. The current internal drive is for future use, for when I have a replacement machine. I know how to specify the boot drive in Preferences, but sometimes the machine reboots without me. I don't know how to verify which drive I'm booted from. I changed the desktop background, so that once I'm logged in I can tell, but surely there is a more direct way to determine this. Isn't there?

A simple option would be to select About this Mac from the Apple menu.

  • BEA MS Sql server which driver to use?

We have BEA weblogic 8.1 and want to work with sql server Which driver
    shoudl we use ?
    i believe driver is deprecated
Bea talks about the new driver
"WebLogic Server 8.1 SP1 includes a new JDBC driver from BEA for connecting
to a Microsoft SQL Server database. The BEA WebLogic Type 4 JDBC MS SQL
Server driver replaces the WebLogic jDriver for Microsoft SQL Server, which
is deprecated. The new driver offers JDBC
3.0 compliance, support for some JDBC 2.0 extensions, and better
performance. BEA recommends that you use the new BEA WebLogic Type 4 JDBC MS
SQL Server driver in place of the WebLogic jDriver for Microsoft SQL
    Server."
Do we have to install sp1 or sp2 to work with this driver. How can we get
    sp1 ,
    Thanks,

Where did the Driver file place?
You can copy the driver file to the JAVA_HOME/lib
folderDo not put that JDBC JAR in JAVA_HOME/lib.
You should put it someplace close to your app and add it to the CLASSPATH when you compile and run?
Geez, doesn't anybody think about a standard directory structure to use for their apps? Put it in a /lib directory with the rest of your app stuff. - MOD

  • Which driver for an "Audigy ADVANCED HD Audio" from De

The Audigy Advanced MB isn't a device, it is an application that makes your onboard sound sound better. Therefore, it doesn't have a "driver", the only drivers involved would be the driver for your onboard sound, which you need to get from Dell.
As for the application itself, it is my understanding that it's not ready for Vista yet, and I am currently trying to get an update on that situation.

  • Which driver do I need for Broadcom4311?

    Hello,
I'm using a dell Inspirion E1505, with a Broadcom4311 chipset. I read in the wiki and apparently I have a few options:
    1. ndiswrapper - will use as a last resort only, I prefer to find a more linux-y solution
    2. BCM4312 driver which apparently works for my 4311
    2. broadcom -wl
    3. b43
My question is, which driver is the best for my hardware? Apparently all work (according to the "supported cards" in the wiki) but I'm interested to know which is the most optimal driver. I heared BCM4312 doesn't support hidden ESSID, and I'd like to have that capability but is it that impotent?

    Use b43.

  • Which driver provides "OraSessionClass.OpenDatabase" method ODBC or OO4O

I've a windows app built in VB6.0 which is working fine in 32-bit machine and Oracle10g client. When my client tries to use it in a 64-bit machine and connects to Oracle11g 64-bit client the app doesn't work. I'm using "OraSessionClass" to connect to the db. I'm confused about which driver is my app using to connect to db OO4O 0r ODBC. If it is OO4O I read that there is some compatibility issue with oracle 11g 64-bit client. Is OO4O available with 64-bit client? If not, can I install 32-bit oracle11g client on a 64-bit machine get OO4O driver so that my app will work. Please suggest me in resolving this issue. Thanks a lot!!!"

    Hi,
    The code is using OO4O.
There is no 64 bit version of OO4O.
VB6 apps are 32 bit so need 32 bit Oracle client software.
Using 32 bit OO4O on a 64 bit OS is not a supported supported configuration, but should work anyway.
    Hope it helps,

  • Sidebar losing highlight to which drive file is in

I hope I can describe this in a way that makes sense...When I am using the sidebar finder, I have my HD and a server showing on the left side. If I navigate to a file (let's say on my HD) and I do not have it in multi-column view, the HD is no longer highlighted. Therefore, I no longer have a visual confirmation of whether I am finding files on the HD or the server.
This seems to work fine if I stay in multi-column view, but once I choose one-column or icon view I can't see which drive I'm selecting from
. Is there a preference or update I can adjust?
    iMac G5   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

The top of the window is showing the last layer of folder, the problem is I need to keep track of the root of the folders.
    In other words:
    macHD/work/project1/folder1/file
    vs.
    server/work/project1/folder1/file
Once I get the file level, top of the sidebar would only show "folder1" and no longer highlights the root folder in the left column. This is happening on 2 of my computers that both have Tiger 10.4.5 installed on them. There do not appear to be any more recent updates.

    Hi
its up to you.. you can first install your drivers of your OS then install whatever software you want to install..
if you will install your drives for hardware some of the software will not create any issue to install..
    Hope it helps!

  • Which drive is the boot drive?

I installed a 2nd hard drive in my G4 dual 1ghz sometime around 2001. I'm now on a G5 and would like to pull the 2nd drive from the G4 and put it in a firewire enclosure to use with the G5. How can I tell which drive is the boot drive and which is the secondary drive? I kind of remember that the 2nd drive went in the lower bay but I'm not 100% sure. Any other caveats to pulling out this drive? Thanks in advance.
    Power Mac dual 1ghz

The system profiler should tell you the serial number of the hard drive, or type of hard drive when you select it in the IDE bus. Compare that with the label on the drive itself.
Both bays can have boot drives, though typically master jumper drives are better able to boot than slaves on certain operating systems.
You can tell the existing boot drive, because it is the first drive that appears in the upper right hand corner of the desktop if you view and arrange the desktop by kind.
If you just want to transfer data over from a G4 to a G5, you may want to use Target Disk Mode:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=58583
Note, if the G4 is the kind that can boot into Mac OS 9, set it as the Target machine. In addition, if it is running 10.2.2 or earlier it should be the target machine, because 10.2.2 and earlier don't understand the Journaled operating system which may be installed on your G5.

  • Looking at External SSD Drive for Lightroom Editing - How Can I Set This Up and Which Drive?

I'd like to purchase an external SSD drive for Lightroom editing and am hoping somebody can provide a recommendation for me.
I'm using a FW800 G-Drive to store my Lightroom Library and have been using this drive to edit.  I'd like to add an external SSD drive for editing photographs an am looking for recommendations on which drive and the best way to set this up.  I plan on having a 3rd (and maybe 4th) to save both the FW800 files and working SSD drive files as a backup.
    Any recommendations are sincerely appreciate.

I believe I was loading a preview file to 100%.  I think maybe I should just use what I have and work with it.  It's much faster than my 7 year old MBP performed that's for sure.
I was just wondering if I could spend a few hundred for an external Thunderbolt or USB 3 drive to speed up my productivity.  With the full time job and the kids, I have a little time to work on photography.  I'd love to increase my output.  I'm more than willing to spend the money on the TB or USB 3 if it would help.
The specs on the camera say 24.1 million pixels:  24.6 MB.  The raw files are
    NEF (RAW): 14 bit, compressed
