I'm watching a series of videos from ADLInitiatives and they mention that SCORM 2004 has various editions/vertions from 1-4.  I was wondering which version CP 5 is conforming to?

    Hi
Did you ever get an answer for this?
I'm trying to find which edition of SCORM 2004 (3rd, or 4th) that "Captivate 5" outputs to?

  • HT1846 which edition of windows 32 or 64 bit are supported by macbook pro late 2011

which edition of windows (32 or 64 bit) are supported by macbook pro late 2011

I would go so far as to say there is no reason or need for there to even be 32-bit version.
64-bit has better memory and graphic handling with whatever you have.

  • Which edition of DB2 Connect neccessary for connection with WebLogic 6.1

    Hi!
Who can tell me, which editions of DB2 Connect work together with WebLogic
    6.1?
    - the hardware-related Personal Edition
    - the Enterprise Edition run on an extra server, which works as a gateway
    between DB2 and its clients.
    - the CAE-Client (Client Application Enabler)
We would prefer the Personal Edition - if possible - does anyone has
experiences? IBM can not give us this neccessary information.
    Thanks
    Marita

    Hi Marita,
WebLogic will work with any JDBC 2.0 compatible driver.
Generally, a gateway would add some overhead. You could
setup a WebLogic connection pool using the simplest way
and see if it satisfy your needs.

  • RAC on Windows Server 2008 R2 - which edition is necessary

    Hello,
which Windows Server 2008 R2 edition is required to install RAC - standard or enterprise (NOT database edition - windows server 2008 edition)?
If we want to implement RAC 11Gr2 Enterprise Edition does the operating system also has to be enterprise edition or is it possible to install RAC 11GR2 Enterprise Edition on Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition?
What Server Version is more suited for RAC Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008, and why?
Thanks in advance for any information.
    kind regards
    Monika Anna

    Hi Monika,
which Windows Server 2008 R2 edition is required to install RAC - standard or enterprise (NOT database edition - windows server 2008 edition)?
If we want to implement RAC 11Gr2 Enterprise Edition does the operating system also has to be enterprise edition or is it possible to install RAC 11GR2 Enterprise Edition on Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition? All Oracle Database 11g Release 2 is supported on the following Windows Server 2008 R2 editions:
    Windows Web Server 2008 (x64)
    Windows Server 2008 Foundation (x64)
    Windows Server 2008 Standard (x64)
    Windows Server 2008 Enterprise (x64)
    Windows Server 2008 Datacenter (x64)
What Server Version is more suited for RAC Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008, and why?I recommend Windows 2008, because the system is newer and has a lot of features that do not exist in Windows 2003. Oracle 11.2 is certified in Windows 2008.

  • Microsoft office 2011 for mac - which edition?

I have to invest in the new 2011 edition as my current edition is only 2004 and doesn't work with Lion
However I don't get the two versions on offer - Home & Student vs Home & Business and so do not know which is best...
As far as I can see the only difference is that with Home & Business you get Outlook and since I use Mail I am not bothered about not having it.
However, I am both a home and small business user so don't understand what 'Not for commercial use' actually means on the description of the Home and Student edition... are there miscrosoft office 'virtual' police that check how you use it?

I bought Office 2011 (Home and Student single user edition) - which as you say, doesn't include Outlook.
Also: in Word 2011 the find/replace "in all open documents" has gone. I really need that function. There are a few other things in Office 2011 that I dislike, for instance the fact that it takes a looooong time to start up and shut down.
So I use Office 2008. It works fine in Lion.

  • Which edition of Windows Server 2008 R2 I should use?

In which situation I should use WS 2008 R2 Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition.
What are the limitations in Standard Edition? Does it based on how many users our organization have? or something else.

You can download the edition comparison pdf from
http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/C/6/FC6006B5-866E-42C1-88F8-9AC4B8BC610D/WS%20Brand%20Pages%20-%20Editions%20Comparison%20Guide.pdf which gives all the limitations, restrictions etc between the different editions.
Some relate to the number of connections available in standard (generally unlimited in Enterprise / Datacenter), while others relate to hardware limits, like the amount of memory supported and the number of CPU sockets etc.
If you're using virtualisation then the edition can make a difference, with each edition including a different number of virtual machines available to be installed on the host server using that same licence.

  • Which Edition of Windows is required for using SQL 2012 Always On Availability Groups

I want to use the new feature of having 2 secondary mirror replicas. the first secondary replica will be sync the second one will be async.
Currently I have SQL Enterprise license and Windows 2008 R2 Standard license.
Will I be required to upgrade to Windows Enterprise license to use Always On? (since this feature depends on Windows clustering?)
Can you please confirm if SQL Always On feature can be used on Windows 2008 R2 standard or not?
    MSDNStudent Knows not much!

Always On is available with Standard Edition but it supports only 2 nodes.
AlwaysOn is a bigger umbrella which covers two features. AlwaysOn Availability Groups (AG) and AlwaysOn Failover Cluster Instance (FCI).
FCI for 2 node is supported. You can't use AG feature in SQL Server Standard Edition

  • DPS: which edition suggested?

Hi everyone, I'm a graphic designer and I started working in a company which is going through Digital Publishing, with the Creative Cloud pack to publish on Apple Store. May question is, what if one day I'll decide to get freelance or my own company and start publishing myself or with my own graphic team people, what kind of edition (single, professional, enterprise) do you suggest me to get to dtart publishing app and magazines? Of course, it worth better to use the Creative Cloud of my company cuz is more competitive and rich of resources as working in CS6 as we do actually. But in terms of costs, which kind of edition is suggested to get to start with a good step and to have those necessary requirements to be able in publishing good stuff? It depends also on what kind of need do I have in publishing, I know.
    Leave me just your opinion.
    Thanks for listening.
    Riccardo

    Hi, Riccardo
Have you taken a look to this PDF? (version spring 2013, I believe) It's quite a good summary about DPS and it might help to clarify some basic issues before entering into those pesky details involving money.

  • Which edition of iAS in Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2

    Hi there I have a question;
We are running Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2.
We have been asked what edition of Oracle iAS we are running with this i.e. Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition.
I can see the version we are running as follows:
    $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/bin/httpd -version
Server version: Oracle HTTP Server Powered by Apache/1.3.19 (Unix)
    Server built: Dec 14 2006 22:30:22 (iAS 1.0.2.2.2 rollup 5)
But this doesn't give me the edition.
Does anyone know how I could find this out (or know what version is installed with Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2 by default ?).
    Cheers,
    Dave

  • Determining which edition is installed.

    Greetings:
I have just installed 10g for evaluation on SunOs 5.8 platform but had trouble with the display of the installer. As I clicked radio buttons they would not show as selected but every button shows as marked. As I continued with the installation with this problem I clicked on the Standard Edition for installation and assumed that this would be what is installed. But after completion I'm not entirely sure that is what I installed. How can I find out for sure what Edition got installed? Thanks in advance.
    Cheers!

Log into SQL*Plus. If this is like 9i, then if it is a Standard Edition install, you will just see something like this (it doesn't say Standard Edition, but it doesn't say anything else either):
    Connected to:
    Oracle9i Release 9.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production
    JServer Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
    SQL>
If you installed Enterprise Edition, then you will see this:
    Connected to:
    Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.4.0 - Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP and Oracle Data Mining options
    JServer Release 9.2.0.4.0 - Production
    SQL>
Also, you can query V$VERSION - you'll see the same thing.

  • Which edition of photoshop for basic raw photo editing?

I recently bought a Nikon D7100 and will be doing more portrait and wedding photography. I don't have a big budget and wonder what edition to buy and they all include camera raw? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you Bill. I have a good deal of experience with landscape and some portrait photography so I know my cameras well enough. Now I have been asked to do a couple of weddings for friends and family. My weakness is in digital editing, though I have been studying Lightroom tutorials recently and am taking advantage of Adobe’s free 30 day trial on CC and Lightroom. I’m surprised how relatively easy it is to perform basic editing tasks such as colour balancing, straightening, cropping etc. So I’m thinking that will be my best option. I don’t think I need all the extras that come with PS. Thanks again.
