Which external battery(charger) do You suggest for iPhone 5 ?

The battery discharge soon, so I need an external battery that can charge my battery to 100% FAST without any AC power!

I take the Trent Power Pack with me when I travel. I can usually get 5-6 charges out of the thing before it needs to be recharged.

  • External battery charger for Lumia 1520

I was looking for an external battery charger but all of them are either 1.0A or 2.1A.
Since Lumia 1520's charger is 1.5A, is there any brand of external battery fit the requirement?
Is it safe to charge Lumia 1520 with an external battery with output=2.1A?
    Thanks!

Agreed, those power packs are great to have as an extra power supply when you know you're going to be out and about for extended periods.
Recently I got myself one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BJCHH36/

  • External Battery Charger compatible with 68/68+ batteries for X240?

Can anyone confirm if the 68/68+ batteries for the X240 are compatible with the ThinkPad External Battery Charger (40Y7625)?
Also, will the same external charger work with the Lenovo 65W DC Travel Adapter?
I'm looking to establish a field location powered entirely by solar so would like to have a spare 68+ battery charging on solar (via straight DC without an Inverter for the AC adapter if possible).
    Thanks!

  • External Battery Charger Absolutely Amazing

So I bought the external battery charger for 49$ (In Canada) and it is a spectacular addition.  I no longer am stuck to a wall at any point!!!!  Great price point even if it was double for what it yields.  I once saw a band manager on a major european tour and he had employed this strategy brilliantly, always connected for his employers.  Properly executed any buisness person can always be within reach (if they want to) or connectivity without being forced to remain in a stagnant location.  I priced it out shortly after I saw this (about 5 years ago), with the phone I was using at the time and it was around 50$ then, and that was with a crappy, bulky external charger.  This one is sleek (love the flip open case) compact, which give it the ability to store in a sleeve of any briefcase, suit jacket pocket or desk drawer.  It also connects to phone if you want to top up both at the same time if you were going encounter an extended period of time without a power outlet.  (Rarely happens these days but long travel and delays could force you to need a good deal of time with solid use without requiring an outlet, well if you want to conduct business or enjoy the luxury of correspondence with family.) If you do not want any of these stay away from this product ha ha. I will eventually buy a second one with charging cord for my office and with one at home and one at the office I am connected like the matrix.  Thanks blackberry for a great accessory!!!!!!

My battery charger bundle should be delivered this week... can't wait to get it!

  • Need compatible external Battery charger

    Hi all,
I have a problem where I cannot use the AC Adaptor to charge my HP Pavilion G60 laptop.  I tried replacing the Power Jack but that did nothing.
Since my HP is out of warrenty, I think the next best step would be to use an external battery charger and just run the laptop off the battery.  I saw a few on web but do not know which one is compatible.
    I am using HP p/n: 484170-001.
    Thanks!

    Hi
I found an Toshiba battery charger adapter for slice expansion battery pack.
    The part number is PA3528U-1ETC.
But Im not sure it this part is compatible with your battery.
You could try to visit some notebook online dealers for more information about such part or ask an service provider in your country because as far as I know the guys could check this part in the hardware list.

  • Which alternative Programing Language do you suggest ?

Except from Labview, which we all like, which other programming language do you suggest, and why ?
(as a second option, for making projects)
We make electronic devices for industrial control. (measurment, monitoring, data logging ....)
As i can not make up my mind, any comments are usefull.

As has been said before, that's a little too open-ended of a question. However, we can give you some insight to answer it for yourself. I think languages such as C are what assembly language was to C a few years ago. Many higher-level languages have been written in C (including LabVIEW) but I wouldn't waste my time learning it unless you have a lot of time to learn it and need to develop algorithms that work under the hood in a dll and such. If you want to invest heavily (and I mean heavily) learning C learn C++ instead since it is the industry standard and is object-oriented. If you want to learn a higher-level, text-based, useful, easily learned and cross-platform object-oriented language with a quick development time I would go with Python. Python is not the best performing language out there, but it is powerful, compiles on-the-fly, can be used with LV and there is huge open source community supporting it. And Python is used just about everywhere. And I started learning it myself just a few months ago.

What other videos and books are there? that you suggest. for step by step .
    Jeannette

The various Lynda.com video tutorials are very good, but you have to pay for a description.  The Photoshop User TV podcasts are excellent; there are hundreds of them, and they are free.  They are also what the iPad was invented for.
The 'You suck at Photoshop' videos on YouTube are both very funny and very instructive.
The Scott Kelby books are very good for folk starting out.  The Martin Evening, and the Martin Evening/Jeff Schewe books are as good as they get from a photography point of view.  The Steve Caplin books are the best Photoshop books once you get into it, but Scott Kelby and Matt Kloskowski do some great medium to advanced books.  Matt's Compositing Secrets is excellent, and was Amazon's best Photoshop book for a while.

  • What kind of antivirus do you suggest for mac OS X Maverics?

What kind of antivirus do you suggest for OS X Maverics?

OS X already includes everything it needs to protect itself from viruses and malware. Keep it that way with software updates from Apple.
A much better question is "how should I protect my Mac":
Never install any product that claims to "speed up", "clean up", "optimize", or "accelerate" your Mac. Without exception, they will do the opposite.
Never install pirated or "cracked" software, software obtained from dubious websites, or other questionable sources. Illegally obtained software is almost certain to contain malware.
Don’t supply your password in response to a popup window requesting it, unless you know what it is and the reason your credentials are required.
Don’t open email attachments from email addresses that you do not recognize, or click links contained in an email:
Most of these are scams that direct you to fraudulent sites that attempt to convince you to disclose personal information.
Such "phishing" attempts are the 21st century equivalent of a social exploit that has existed since the dawn of civilization. Don’t fall for it.
Apple will never ask you to reveal personal information in an email. If you receive an unexpected email from Apple saying your account will be closed unless you take immediate action, just ignore it. If your iTunes or App Store account becomes disabled for valid reasons, you will know when you try to buy something or log in to this support site, and are unable to.
Don’t install browser extensions unless you understand their purpose. Go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. If you see any extensions that you do not recognize or understand, simply click the Uninstall button and they will be gone.
Don’t install Java unless you are certain that you need it:
Java, a non-Apple product, is a potential vector for malware. If you are required to use Java, be mindful of that possibility.
Disable Java in Safari > Preferences > Security.
Despite its name JavaScript is unrelated to Java. No malware can infect your Mac through JavaScript. It’s OK to leave it enabled.
Block browser popups: Safari menu > Preferences > Security > and check "Block popup windows":
Popup windows are useful and required for some websites, but popups have devolved to become a common means to deliver targeted advertising that you probably do not want.
Popups themselves cannot infect your Mac, but many contain resource-hungry code that will slow down Internet browsing.
If you ever see a popup indicating it detected registry errors, that your Mac is infected with some ick, or that you won some prize, it is 100% fraudulent. Ignore it.
Ignore hyperventilating popular media outlets that thrive by promoting fear and discord with entertainment products arrogantly presented as "news". Learn what real threats actually exist and how to arm yourself against them:
The most serious threat to your data security is phishing. To date, most of these attempts have been pathetic and are easily recognized, but that is likely to change in the future as criminals become more clever.
OS X viruses do not exist, but intentionally malicious or poorly written code, created by either nefarious or inept individuals, is nothing new.
Never install something without first knowing what it is, what it does, how it works, and how to get rid of it when you don’t want it any more.
If you elect to use "anti-virus" software, familiarize yourself with its limitations and potential to cause adverse effects, and apply the principle immediately preceding this one.
Most such utilities will only slow down and destabilize your Mac while they look for viruses that do not exist, conveying no benefit whatsoever - other than to make you "feel good" about security, when you should actually be exercising sound judgment, derived from accurate knowledge, based on verifiable facts.
Do install updates from Apple as they become available. No one knows more about Macs and how to protect them than the company that builds them.
Summary: Use common sense and caution when you use your Mac, just like you would in any social context. There is no product, utility, or magic talisman that can protect you from all the evils of mankind.

  • Emergency Numbers - suggestion for iPhone engineers

I can't find a forum to make suggestions for iPhone improvements - this seems the best choice - hopefully Apple engineers browse this too.
When the iPhone is locked and password protection is on (required by some companies who allow corporate mail to be received on the iPhone), no one can get to the Contacts list on the phone. I would strongly suggest that Apple has an icon for an "Emergency" phone number that can be dialled without having to enter a password.
I believe that emergency personnel look for an "ICE" (In Case of Emergency) phone number to call if the bearer of the phone is incapacitated. If the phone is locked this can't be done.
Hence, it makes sense to have an ICON that allows an emergency phone number to be on the screen where the user types in the password. In case of an emergency, someone can move the slider to the right and unlock the phone. However, since they don't know the password, they can tap this new Emergency Icon to call some number.
If the iPhone is lost and falls into the hands of someone honest, then this is also a way for that person to contact the Emergency Number to return the iPhone to its rightful owner.

You can call "any" number - true.
However, if there is an accident what an emergency personnel needs to do is to call a person like a spouse or a parent. These numbers are in the Contacts list, but the contact list is not visible until you enter a passcode.
So what I am suggesting is that Apple allows an "Call in case of Emergency" button that can be programmed by the user to contain a phone number. Now, this number can be called without having to enter a passcode.
    Thanks for the link ..

I do not know anything about MTS or Beeline - are they GSM carriers, do they offer LTE and if so, on what frequencies?
The USA online store sells unlocked iPhones, which are model A1428 and is the same model phone as sold carrier-locked to AT&T here.  But again, you cannot buy anything from the USA online unless you have a USA billing address, USA-issued payment source (e.g. credit card) and have it shipped within the USA.  If you are in Russia, you need to buy from a site that sells in Russia, not from the USA online Apple Store.
