Hi,
I am looking for a solution such that when the application is deployed and i am somewhere in the page and i see there is Issue (UI change required issue), for someone who is new to that project it would be difficult to figure out which file (jsff) it belongs to .... so that he can directly jump to that file and find the place in that jsff and edit it... that way developer will not lost their time figuring out going through guess and finding the correct file....
I am thinking there is a way to put display page name on each section and that will only shows up when we run in debug mode or something like that.....but i donno how it can be done ... has anyone done that or knows how to do it......

I was looking for something like for example home page is rendered, that page have many taskflows and each have many different no. of jsff .....I actually wanted to pin point exactly which fragment (jsff) file that belongs to .... just my idea is something like .... using Main Page template, that would have link /button (optional: that shows up in only on debug mode) on clicked that brings popup that gives the taskflow that it is currently rendered and jsff that is currently rendered ... view objects it's using and application module it belongs) ... and if i had 5 different section i wanted to have same behavior on each ) ... This is just my idea... I remember something like that was done on one of the project i worked , but now i don't have access to it..... and i am clue less how i can do it too ......I will be delighted if you can add on this and provide me some pointers ...

Which file type to use for editing

I recently filmed a school talent show to create DVDs for the parents. I'll be using PrE 9 to edit. I understand the output for the movie will need to be MPEG2 for the DVD. We used three different cameras (I know this is a bad thing to do with PrE), but we used what we have available. Though, we did use a GoPro Hero2 mounted on the piano to give a unique perspective. Consequently I need to convert the video files into a common format for editing. Is there a "best" file format to edit in or is there a file format that is easiest to work with in Premiere Elements while maintaining the best quality for the DVD output?
Here is what we used:
Camera 1 (with the audio track from the sound board) was a Canon Vixia HF300. It exported in the dreaded .mts format (half the show at 24mbps and half at 17mbps)
Camera 2 was a Nikon 5100 as .mov files, 1920x1080, H.264, Linear PCM, Total bit rate 19k
Camera 3 was a GoPro Hero 2 recorded .mp4 1280x780 H.264 Total bit Rate 15k
Since the aspect ratios are not equivalent, I plan on using black bars as opposed to cropping.
I'm editting on an Apple MacBookPro 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 8gb RAM running OSX 10.7
Also, should I use Quicktime to convert these files into the common format I choose? Ironically, all this footage is editable in iMovie, but iMovie is horrible for multi-camera.

Over on the Windows side of the aisle where I am, I would say convert all to DV AVI since the end will be a DVD, not a BluRay
For Mac, I guess the SD version of DV AVI in the MOV wrapper

There is no point in trying to convert a JPEG image to DNG. DNG is Adobe's alternative raw file format. There's nothing wrong with converting to DNG. Many users convert routinely, many others choose not to.
I only shoot raw images, and I choose not to convert to DNG. I maintain the raw images in Lightroom, and export JPEG copies when I need to send them to others or to a lab. You'll have to decide how you want to manage your own library. It's very difficult to know where to start, so I'll recommend that you watch a series of short videos about getting started using Lightroom.

For new installs you should usethe most current build, CU3: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=41175
Cumulative Update builds are full Exchange server installers so there is no need to install RTM version and then apply CU.

I am using Outlook 2010 and I also use a Iphone 4s. I use Outlook to correct all my contacts and them it sync with my phone BUT I get different variations of the contacts. Almost as if there is another file it is going to. Can I check to see which file it is reading from??

In this file, for example, there are:
ProjectName1: string1, string7… string10, date1
ProjectName2: string11, string15… string20, date2
ProjectNamek: string 100, string 116 … string 140, date1
I know only one thing: one of the strings.
What I need to find in the file:
I need to find the string at one of these rows and get its ProjectName and date.
For example: if I have string15,
I should find string15 in the file, and get its ProjectName and date:
ProjectName2, date2
Which file type should I use and how I use it? What is the best solution?

CreateFile() method in Win32 Programming....
When i manually created a doc file and import that file using the
PlaceFileInFrame method.... the contents of the doc file is placing in
the document perfectly...
But when i'm trying to create a doc file using CreateFile() method and importing it... and use the PlaceFileInFrame method... its not placing the

Which File System should I use?

Which is the best file system to use on a drive, baring in mind the following requirements:
* Read AND write compatibility on both Mac & Windows systems.
* Individual file sizes will often exceed 4GB (ruling out the FAT file systems).
* The drive is connected via USB (160GB).

Read and write compatibility out of the box is only possible with FAT32.
But your second request rules that one out.
What I would do in this case is to use NTFS as file system (read+write in Windows) and use/buy Paragons NTFS for OSX http://www.paragon-software.com/home/ntfs-mac/ for full access to NTFS from OSX.
In my opinion it is a far more stable solution than using MacDrive in Windows for full access to OSX (HFS+) partitions.

I need to make some changes to generic-searchbackend-config.xml.
There are 2 generic-searchbackend-config.xml files available.
1. sap.com\crm\isa\web\b2b\_comp\*webContent*\WEB-INF\xcm\sap\modification\generic-searchbackend-config.xml
2. sap.com\crm\isa\web\b2b\_comp\WEB-INF\xcm\sap\modification\generic-searchbackend-config.xml
I already made some changes in File No 1 and they were reflecting perfectly.
My Basis team restarted the server today and I noticed that none of these changes I made in file no 1 are working now.
Later I tried making some changes to file NO 2 and surprisingly they are reflecting.
My question(s):
1.which is the correct file to be used?
2.what is the diff between the two
3.why are my changes in file 1 not reflecting now even though code changes are present?

Actually neither of them.
You need to have a "customer" version of the XML which contains the changes you do specific to your application. The path of this file would be something like
crmtcwebappbasesap.com/src/packages/WEB-INF/xcm/customer/modification/generic-searchbackend-config.xml
Inside that one, you include the standard like this:
<xi:include href="$/modification/generic-searchbackend-config.xml#xpointer(backendobject/*)"/>
Then you put in your changes like the example below:

"dtutil", how to tell which configuration file for packages using after deployment?

Trying to achieve this feature,
Using DOS command to automatic my deployment process--glad I found dtutil. However, it doesnt give you any chance to identify which configuration file to be used by SSIS packages after deployment.
Deployment Method: file deployment
Configuration sued: XML file and SQL Table. IN XML file, it tells which DB connection for packages to look up the configuration table.
Who can share some thoughts on this?

It is NOT about sequence.
It is about how to point which configuration file to be used by deployed packages as during the "dtutil.exe"
deployment, you dont have chance to identify which physical location confg files to be used.

That you do only at the time of execution of packages. By default it uses configuration settings created at design time within the package. If you want to override it, you can use \Configfile switch of dtexec for that. You can also set explicit values for
properties using /SET switch
