Which Flash version do I have?

Hello,
where can I find out, which version of Adobe Flash CS3
Professional I have installed (not player)?
I can't update to 9.0.2 or 9.0.3. Or do I have this latest
version yet?
Under "help, about" there is version 9.0 listed
Greetings, Carlos

  • Which flash version is compatible/where do I get it?

Which flash version is compatible with my laptop? Where can I get it?
I have recently restored to factory settings and am not able to play "Gemcraft-Chasing Shadows" although I was ok. It gives the message that it may have stopped working etc.
Please help. That game kept me sane.
    System is:
    *Vista
    *32bit OS
    *celeron 900 processor (2.19 ghz)
    *1 g RAM
    Thanks folks.

You should always use the latest Flash Player.
The following troubleshooting guide might help -- in particular, check out the stuff about disabling Hardware Acceleration:
    Video playback issues
If that works, and you haven't downloaded the latest drivers for your graphics hardware, I'd do that and then enable hardware acceleration again.

  • Which flash version does Encore CS6 use?

    Hello all,
Could someone please tell me which Flash version Encore CS6 uses to encode a flash build?
I need to deliver a flash video in flash 10 or higher, but I cannot find any info on this.
Also, if Encore CS6 encodes in a lower version of flash, is there a way to convert this to flash 10 or higher?
Thank you in advance for your help!

The only flash export I've done with CS6 is very simple. No scripting shows up (so only the flash video encode and not the "flash" app version may be relevant). I chose fv4, so that is what I got. I am not even sure that "Flash" is used to encode what we are seeing in the .swf.
The index.html page generated only requires flash 9.
If you don't get an answer here today, ask in the Flash forum and post a link to that thread here (and I'll take a look).

  • Publish in which Flash version

Hi Cambo160 and welcome to the community
A quick look at the topic titled

  • How do I get my site to display a flash version if they have flash or my html5 version if they don't

I'm setting up my site in html5 for those devices that do not display flash/swf files.
How do I make my site run the flash site if they have flash player and switch to the html site if they don't?
    Thanks!!!

Suzy, I am a professional. I work in split view constantly. And that is actually kind of dangerous, but I know the problems.
I am very happy with Dreamweaver CS 5.5's Live View, which is not something I had in CS3. But I'm not really sure which web browser it's emulating, so I always check everything out in a real browser (actually several). I look at Firefox, and Safari and I also look at it in Internet Exploder versions 7, 8 and 9 through the use of VirtualBox on my Mac. OS X Daily even offered a complete run-it-once installation kit on their website.
The current HTML standard is HTML4, which was arrived at by the W3C in 1999. People tried to improve on that standard and came up with XHTML (for eXtended HTML) and that became a "standard," but I can see people leaving that style with HTML5.
The idea behind these new standards for HTML is to go more towards a semantic web, with tags that actually describe something about the content. Essentially, what we're trying to do is get more and more in-line style information out of the web page and into a style sheet, with tags that give search engines more information about what the content is all about.
We need people with good design-sense Suzy. Learning HTML markup and how to build stylesheets to style your pages is not simple and you need to have a little patience. I think it is very promising that you are saying that HTML5 and CSS3 are easier. When these new standards are adopted, it will be much easier to make websites and those sites will be better optimized for search engines.
If you stick to HTML5 and CSS3, you need to include the HTML5 "shiv" in your header in your page. This will retranslate all of your hard work into something that Microsoft's browsers can understand, as Microsoft made them the "slow kid" down the street.
    Good luck!

  • SLD to SMSY synchronization - Which product version do we have to choose ?

    Hello,
We do have a CPP system running on SAP ECC 6.0 version.
    1. In SLD, we do have the list of all "Software Components" used in CDP.
We do not have the "PRODUCT VERSION" of the managed system.
    2. With job SAP_SLD_DATA_COLLECT (RZ70), all data are sent from CDP (managed system) to SLD.
    3. With LANDSCAPE FETCH job, all data are synchronized between SLD and SMSY.
Now, how can we choose the right "PRODUCT VERSION" to set in SMSY ?
As far as there is not "PRODUCT VERSION" defined in SLD, do we have to set manually a PRODUCT in SMSY ?
Is there any guide or OSS Notes which describe, step by step, the full workflow process synchronization
from (1) Managed System to (2) SLD to (3) SMSY ?
    Thanks
    Best regards
    PC

    Hi,
As I have observed, when the data sync happens between SLD and SM system, the product versions are also assigned.
Sometimes, the product assigned through SLD sync may not be correct or may be irrelevant to your scenario,
In that case, you should always manually edit and assign the correct product version in SMSY, to avoid any conflicts arising in further setup of EWA, SMD setup etc.
For ECC 6.0, you can goto SMSY>systems>search for SAP ECC-->your system CPP/CDP should already be present under SAP ECC through SLD landscape fetch job.
Select that system, and in the header data tab u can see the Installed product versions.
There you can always change the relevant products for your systems.
    Hope this helps.

  • Which Flash version is running?

    Hey!
I'm trying to verify that the flash content on my website ( http://www.ultimate-guitar-tuner.com ) is loading correctly in differnt browsers and OS using browserlab. The issuse that I want help with is that the flash content is loading correctly on all the Mac OS X browser but on Windows browser the "expressInstall.swf" shows up. I don't understand why.
Are the Mac OS X and Windows machines running different version of the flash player ? The flash content on my website require flash 10.1 ?
Greatfully if anyone have some thoughts about this.
    Best Regards,
    Rickard.

    Hi Rickard,
Yes, on some of our machine images we inadvertantly have a 10.0 version of Flash Player installed. We're working on correcting this and should be able to update those in the next couple of weeks.
You can always easily check the installed version of Flash Player in BrowserLab by submitting a URL that displays the version number, e.g. http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html
    Thanks,
    Mark

  • Which OS version do I have ?

My recently purchased Qosmio E10 Notebook has a Microsoft hologrammed decal on the base which says 'Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 ( 1-2 CPU )'
Before using I added Service Pack 2 with a CD and downloaded the latest Bios, ie 1.6 (10/09/2004).
However when I look at 'System' in ' Control Panel ' I find that I have 'Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2002 SP2'
Moreover running PC Diagnostic in 'Toshiba Console' I see that the OS recognised is 'XP Professional 5.1.2600 SP2'!!
So when I visit Toshiba's website for updates under which OS do I make a selection ?

    Hi
I have found some information that Windows XP MCE displays Version 2002 in the System properties. According to Microsoft this is because the upgrade to WXP MCE 2004 or 2005 does not change the properties in My Computer.
If you want to determine MC version, start please Media Center and on the settings menu click on General. Scroll down and click About Media Center.
The version number of the application that you are running will be displayed.
    Bye

  • Which AICC version do I have?

The host of my LMS is asking which version or level of AICC I have. I am running Captivate 6. Is there any way to check to see which version of AICC I have?

OK.  That makes sense.  About the ONLY advantage AICC has over SCORM is the ability to reference content that is not on the same domain as the LMS web server.  AICC passes it's information in the URL strings, whereas SCORM does it via a JavaScript API.
If you have access to the project CPTX files for your published content you should be able to open up the project in Captivate 6 and go to the Quiz settings to just verify that it is indeed published for AICC.  Captivate doesn't give you any choices as to which version of AICC it uses.  (Unlike SCORM which it offers several version options for).  However, in digging through the code inside the published output I found that it appears to support up to AICC version 3.5.
    Hope that helps.

  • Which software version should I have?

I have a Silver vision box, and can't help but think I'm stuck on an old software version.
    Sys info tells me:-
    TV2 client version: 2.1.2295.1115(release)
    Platform os/version: wince/5.0.1400
    Bootstrap rom version: 1.1527
    Stb/CPU: pace philips_DiT9719_05_L3/297
    Is this old or current?
    Thanks

I've got the same model box as you, and it's on the same software version.
The silver boxes are now obsolete.  The chances are that BT will never do another update to the software for them.  They certainly can't be updated to the new software that is being rolled out on the later black boxes.

I have used Upload'r to shorten the url because when the full url was posted it stretched everything.

Not at all, but it is New Year and still the holiday season for a lot of people, so there are probably less folks around than usual.
