WHich Format is better to upload to Youtube?

I ve tried mp4, m4v, mov, etc, and all of them are kind of blurry when I watched them in Youtube. The only one, that has work for me is wmv, and because I dont have the Flip for mac program, I can transform only 30 seconds.?
What do I have to do to upload the video, without the blurry in Youtube.?
Thank you in advance?

I use Firefox when a site doesn't work well with Safari. Some people like Google's Chrome, but I find it too instrusive and do not trust Google's security. You can download Firefox from firefox.com.

  • Quicktime Pro VS Sorenson Squeeze which is better for uploading to YouTube?

I'm thinking of buying Quicktime Pro or Sorenson Squeeze - which is better for uploading to YouTube? Which would give my video better quality?
Also, with regard to Sorenson Squeeze: The website says these are its requirements - could someone explain what each of them means in logical terms?
    Mac OS X system requires:
Power PC with G5 processor or greater or Intel processor - (I'll be using this program with a MacBook Pro - will this work?)
Mac OS X 10.4 or later - (Again, will this work with a MacBook Pro?)
    512 MB of RAM
    QuickTime 7.2 or later
DirectX 9.0b or later (What is this and how will I get it? Is it free?)
    * Mac users must have the Flip4Mac plugin from Telestream (Is this plugin free?) ** Windows only feature * Plugin sold separately
Please be as specific as possible.
Thank you so much in advance for answering my questions! It is really helpful!

    First.
You have no control over the conversion to Flash video (done during the YouTube upload) if you use QuickTime .mov format.
    Second.
YouTube does allow H.264 Video for its "high quality" display so you would want a QuickTime .mov container.
Now you are even more confused than when you started.
Flip4Mac allows export from QuickTime (and apps like iMovie that use it) to Windows Media Player (.wmv) formats. They will also be converted to Flash Video by YouTube so you gain nothing by using it.
You don't need Squeeze, QuickTime Pro or the Flip4Mac upgrades. Just use iMovie 7 (part of iLife '08).

... read your camera's manual, usually S stands for super or superior... I guess, SHQ offers a 'better' quality... (?)

  • Which one is better for uploading data LSMW or ECATT ?

I am going to implement my product in customer place.which tool I can use for uploading data.ECATT or LSMW whch one is better to upload master data and transaction data ,which one is user friendly?kindly guide me on this.

    Hello TJK,
LSMW and eCATT has different functionalitites and different advantages, but common thing is they are used for data upload.
eCATT is mainly used as a testing tool for follow-on transactions i.e. Purchase Requisition, Purchase order, Goods Receipt etc.
Where as LSMW is used for Master data (Materials, Customer, Vendor, BOM, Inforecord etc) and some of the transactions data (Purchase order, purchase requisition)
There are many standard objects are available in LSMW so most of the consultants use LSMW, but again depends on the requirement.
This will help to understand the basics of eCATT.

and here it is for LSMW

    Hope this will help.

  • Which format is faster to import from Canon XA25?

I have a Canon XA25 camcoder. It can record in several formats below. Which format is better/faster to import and edit in FCPX?
    AVCHD: 28 Mbps, 24 Mbps, 17 Mbps, 5 Mbps (1080: 59.94P/59.94i/PF29.97/23.98p)
    MP4: 35 Mbps, 24 Mbps, 17 Mbps, 4 Mbps, 3 Mbps (1080: 59.94p/29.97p/23.98p; 720 and 360: 29.97p/23.98p)
    Video Recording System: MPEG4-AVC/H.264

Lesson 1: Always keep your original tapes safe, never fall into the habit of using a tape for a second or third time.
I would try to convert your files outside of PR, because it carries such an overhead on an underpowered system. Google for a converter and you will find many links. Here is an example: http://www.ojosoft.com/video-converters/index.html

  • I have the newest imovie as i got a macbook for christmas, i have made a video and want to upload it to youtube and it is a quicktime file, but yet it is still taking ages to upload and youtube says if i change the format it will take less time, help?

I need help for how to upload a video on youtube when it is a quicktime file but how i change it to a streamable format in order for it to not take as long to upload, how do i do this?

I have the same issue.  If you are exporting from iMovie version 10.0.1, I run into the same issues if I export directly to YouTube or if I export to file then upload to YouTube.
Google's help file doesn't properly address this problem and thier help is also out of date.  In talking to a support rep at Apple, they said the export to YouTube should just work or the exporting to a file then uploading otherwise it's an issue for Google support.
If someone can post a solution that works (is a streamable format - which is different than the format that YouTube accepts as it will accept many formats but take a long time to process them), I'd be interested to hear also.
    Thanks,
    Rob.

  • Is it better to output t master file and then upload to youtube?

I had to upload 33 videos to youtube today
    This has taken tooo long
Just wondering, is it better to create a master file and then upload to youtube?
I could maybe just copy the files to another machine and leave it to upload?
    Thanks
    Omar

    just to add:
don't try to upload your Masterfile to YouTube!
usually, the Masterfile is a copy of the projects timeline = proRes.
that creates incredible large files = time for upload, wasting bandwidth, and YT will complain 'wrong settings'
After saving a masterfile, which goes fast, you should use a 'Converter' of your choice (QuicktimePro, Mpg Streamclip, Compressor) to transcode into YT's recommended upload settings.-

  • Is it better to encode a FLV before uploading to Youtube?

Does Youtube apply additional compression to a FLV even after
    it was
obviously encoded in Flash as a FLV? If so, what is the best
    format to
start with when uploading to Youtube, or what is the best way
    to prepare
    a FLV before uploading?
    Thanks!

You can actually have both versions installed at the same time. Each version of LabVIEW will be installed in its own directory under the National Instruments directory. This way you can support projects that have not upgraded to the new version.
LabVIEW 8.2 is not technically an "Upgrade" to an older version. It's just a new version.

  • Uploading to YouTube, gives an error of format not supported. What can I do? I've used other editing s/w and never got this error.

YouTube gives me an error when I try an upload a 6 minute video using Adobe Premier Elements 13. I looked to see what other formats in Premier Elements I could save the video in and there's only the default format. No other drop downs appear.
I've used other editing software and never had this happen. Has anyone encountered this problem? Thanks

What version of Premiere Elements and what computer operating system?
What do you have for Timeline content that you are trying to upload to YouTube? What formats for video, audio, stills, graphics..?
In the YouTube feature of Premiere Elements what are you selecting for the preset?
Where in the process do you get the message about non supported format?
    a. while the upload to YouTube is in progress?
    b. during the YouTube processing of the video after the upload?

  • Best Video/audio format to upload to YouTube

Please recommend best Video/audio format to upload to YouTube, for a) upload speed, b) picture and sound quality.

Emailing video can be a real drama.
You can easily convert YouTube video if you have the free software MPEG Streamclip: http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-mac.html
Download version 1.9.3b4 and install in your applications.
Open then File > Open URL and copy/paste the YT clip address.
Then File > Export to QuickTime and select Apple Intermediate Codec for the compression.
The converted file will import into iMovie.

  • APE 7 best file format to share for later upload to YouTube?

i capture on a Canon FS11 in standard definition widescreen PAL an use adobe premiere elements 7.  i generally trim clips and put a title on, maybe adjust the sound level before uploading to YouTube.
Occasionally I have internet connection problems when sharing from APE7 (eg due to slow or intermittent wifi) and it hangs.  Or i edit clips when out and about say on a train and have no reliable upload at all.
So I would rather share clips to save on my hard drive and then upload to youtube manually later when hooked up to a stable wired commection.
What is the best format/settings to save/share to my hard drive that will achieve best qaulity when uploaded to youtube and converted there.  I am aware there is a trade off between quality and file size and i should like to find the best compromise with a smallish file size.
thanks for your help in advance

  • How to edit JVC/Panasonic/Canon .mod video in Windows Movie Maker then upload to YouTube for sharing

    Quick View:
Part 1: How to import .mod video to Windows Movie Maker
Part 2: How to edit the video with Windows Movie Maker
Part 3: How to upload your video to YouTube
    Know More:
    1. Which Camcorders record video in .MOD type?
    2. What file types are supported by Windows Movie Maker?
    3. What file types are supported by YouTube?
Part 1: How to import .mod video to Windows Movie Maker
    Step 1: Load files
First copy the MOD file from your video camera to your hard drive, then download, install and run MOD Converter, click the "Add Files" button to browse your computer hard disc and load the MOD/TOD video files you want to convert to the program.
    Step 2: Output Setting
In the bottom of the main interface, select an output format supported by Windows Movie Maker for each video file and specify a directory on your computer to save the output files.
    Step 3: Start convert
Click "Start" button on right bottom of the main interface, you are allowed to start conversion.
Step 4: Import converted video to Windows Movie Maker
Click on "File". Then click on "Import". A window will appear. In the window, navigate to the video clip you converted just now. Then double click on the file. You'll see the icon for the file in your Windows Movie Maker "Collections".
Part 2: How to edit the video with Windows Movie Maker
Step 1: Add transitions and special effects
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Edit Movie, click View video transitions.
Preview transitions by double-clicking them and watching the Preview Monitor. Once you've found a transition you like, drag it from the Video Transitions pane, under Edit Movie pane to the box between two of your clips. This inserts the transition between the two clips.
Step 2: Add titles and credits
If you want to add a title before, after, or on top of a clip, click the clip on the storyboard or timeline.
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Edit Movie, click Make titles or credits.
    Step 3: Add Music
In the Movie Tasks pane in Movie Maker, under Capture Video, click Import audio or music.
In the Import File dialog box, click the name of the song you want to use in the background. Then click Import. This adds your song to your collection but does not add it to your video. Drag the song from the collection to the video clip where you want the music to start playing.
    Step 4: Add narration
If you have a desktop computer, connect a microphone. Microphones are available from most electronics stores. If you have a portable computer, you can use the built-in microphone. However, you will get a better-quality recording if you connect an external microphone. In Movie Maker, click the Tools menu, and then click Narrate Timeline. On the timeline, click the clip you want to narrate. You can narrate clips one at a time, or you can narrate the entire movie all at once. If you narrate individual clips, you can rearrange them later and keep your narration synchronized. If the narration is too loud or too soft in comparison to the movie, right-click the narration on your timeline, and then click Volume.
Step 5: To save your movie to your computer
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Finish Movie, click Save to my computer.
The Save Movie Wizard appears. On the Save Movie File page, type a name for your movie. You can also choose a folder to save it in by clicking the Browse button, but My Videos (the default) is usually the best place to save your movie. Then click Next. On the Movie Setting page, click Next to accept the default setting of Best quality for playback on my computer.
Movie Maker saves your movie, which might take several minutes. On the Completing the Save Movie Wizard page, click Finish. If Play movie when I click Finish was selected (it is selected by default), the movie will automatically play in Windows Media Player. Now you can watch your videos anytime by opening your My Videos folder and double-clicking your movie.
Part 3: How to upload my video to YouTube
A video file should meet the following requirements so that it can be uploaded to YouTube site.
    1. In an acceptable format: WMV, MPEG4, MOV, AVI and MPEG.
    2. Video length is shorter 10 minutes.
    3. File size is smaller than 1GB.
Step 1: Sign up a YouTube account or Gmail account, then click the Upload button on any YouTube web page. See the figure below:
Step 2: Type in the information of your video file, including Title, Description, Category and tags. To increase the chances that your video can be easily found, you should put as much information as possible.
Step 3: Set this video to be public or private.
Step 4: Click the "Upload a video" button. When you see the next window, click the "Browse" button to select the video file you want to upload. Then click the "Upload Video" button to upload it. After the upload is finished, you will see the completion page. See the figure below:
Step 5: Click "My Videos" and you will see the video.
    Know More:
    1. Which Camcorders record video in .MOD type?

  • AVCHD or MP4 for editing and uploading to YouTube?

Our company just bought a Canon Vixia HF R52 camcorder so we can shoot instructional videos, edit, then upload to YouTube for our customers to access.  This camcorder has dual recording in AVCHD and MP4.  The guy doing the recording and the guy doing the editing live on opposite sides of the country, so the files will need to be uploaded to a website for sharing.
Question 1:  Will the AVCHD files be too large to upload to a file sharing site or is it better to use MP4?
Question 2: Which version of Final Cut can handle AVCHD the best, Final Cut Pro 4.0.1 or Final Cut Pro X?
    Thanks!

4.01 predates AVCHD by a few years. You need FCPX. AVCHD is a better format than MPEG-4. If you're sharing the same media make disk images of the catds and upload those.

  • How do I save in a .mov in v10 so I can upload to youtube?

Really struggling with v10.  When I hit share - file it does not give me an option for file extensions and instead only exports as an mp4 which will not upload to youtube.  The share to youtube feature is worthless because when I attempt it, says sign up is required but when I have my own channel with subscribers, clearly I've signed up.  Can anyone help me with any way to export in a file format that will allow me to upload to youtube?  Thank you so much for your help!!!!!!!

    Premiere
What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
What is the player that you are using?
For now, I will assume that you are using Premiere Elements 11, 12, or 13 on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
What are the properties of what you are putting on the project's Timeline?
And, what are your project settings?
The basic idea is to set up the project settings (you manually or the project automatically) to match your source properties.
After the editing phase and you are ready to export to a file saved to the computer hard drive, you go to Publish+Share/
Computer/ and make your choice. There is more than you can see for Computer choices. You use the thin scroll bar
to the right of the choices to scroll down to see the whole list.
If you want an export with a .mp4 file extension, then you should be looking at
    Publish+Share
    Computer
    AVCHD
with one of the MP4 presets described with the properties comparable to your source.
You can also find an .mp4 export under
    Publish+Share
    Mobile Phones and Players
If you obtained a file with a .mpg file extension, I am guessing that you got as far as what you could see, that is, Publish+Share/Computer/MPEG.
Lots of possibilities...but keep in mind that .mp4 is just a file extension (container/wrapper format that wraps the important video and audio compressions).
So, we can discuss that further.

  • Which makes a better DVD? Dynamic link or Encoder?

Which makes a better DVD?—to use the adobe dynamic link on a sequence in the project panel…
or to export to a file with the Adobe Media Encoder and then import into the Encoder?
If the latter, does it make a difference if I export from Premiere to an H264 or using the MPEG2-DVD option?
It would be simpler to burn to an H264 because that is the same file type that I upload to Youtube.
(Since MPEG2-DVD creates separate video and audio files, I assume they are not uploadable to Youtube…)
Thanks for any advice you can give.
    [Font corrected.]
    Message edited by Jim Simon

    Export from Premiere with mpeg2-dvd.
Import the two files in Encore.
    Make menu and burn.
If you use H.264 it gets re-encoded in Encore.
If you want to upload to YT with mpeg2 just set the Multiplexer to ON. H.264 is a better choice for YT.
