Spring is dandy and currently get Kudos on being the hype of the month.
JSF apps can be designed almost entirely through visual development tools. Now THAT's handy. Plus I feel it will remain long after many of these others drift away. The best parts of Spring that JSF doesn't already utilize will probably get consumed into it eventually, much like Struts.
Like angrycat mentioned, none of these are "easy" to learn. They will require an investment of time.

from personal experience print n share pro is my choice
also depends what you want from the app? i use it on my ipad to email stuff and print it, as well as print from google chrome which i have installed and also some of my photos i print, as i like to make collages from them or use them for reference etc
its brilliant for email as i find the standard Mail so frustrating to use
from what i recall the developers are eurosmartz - i think they have a website so check them out, not sure can post links here

You should use Discoverer Administrator for the purpose. If you try to delete an existing join Discoverer will display a confirmation dialog with four buttons. One of the buttons is labelled 'Impact...' Clicking this button will display a list of folders, conditions, summaries, and workbooks that reference this join. A workbook is included in this impact analysis if at least one worksheet in the workbook references the folder(s) included in the join.

The i7 should do the trick. The issue is not so much that a nested VM could work but that it would have direct access to the hardware CPU and give acceptable speed, and the i7 allows that. VMware has discussions of the process here http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-9150, and here http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-8970. The maximum VM RAM assignment allowed in Fusion 5 is 8 GB and your Mac needs its own RAM to function too, so 8 GB total may be a bit tight (you can hack the .vmx file to allow more RAM to be devoted to the VM if you have it and I give 12GB to Windows 7 and 8 VM's just to be safe). But if all you're running when you're demoing the Win Server is Fusion, you can probably get by. You might raise your question directly on VMware's Fusion forum http://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/desktop/fusion?view=discussions&sta rt=0 and see what the experts say.
Windows 8 is a surprisingly fast OS without the eye candy of Win 7 once you get past the Metro interface. That can be done easily with Classic Shell http://www.classicshell.net/, which bypasses the Metro start screen at boot, stays in the desktop, and brings back the Start button. And for what M$ is getting for a full Windows install these days, having it come in a PC instead of a box or download can be quite a saving.

theyre all in same price range, i just want to know which one would be better for my pc. now planning on o/c a lot since theyre fast already.

Honestly it's less about the vendor(GSkill, OCZ, Corsair, Buffalo, etc) and more about the manufacture of the IC itself.
DDR2 has had the original Micron fatbodies, some Elpida chips, and then the more common Micron D9 as the high end RAM to own. When you research RAM this is just as important to keep in mind as manufacture/warranty/reputation.
Case in point, while remote it is possible that if you bought a set of the OCZ, the Crucials, and the Corsair all metioned by everyone they could possibly all be Micron D9GMH chips under the hood, all from the same lot of wafers in the fab. Then it doesn't really matter what manufacture you buy from the will probably clock/overclock about the same, and perform about the same if it's a quality vendor.
If you aren't overclocking I say get the cheapest that meet you specs. (just say 5-5-5 at 500Mhz) . Of course if you are wanting serious overclock it is necessary to follow some forums and look for vendors binning a good batch of IC's that have been yielding well and buy at the time. While not common a vendor can have a good batch get great reviews and you buy 4 months later and it's get different IC or a different binning proceedure and not get what you are thinking.

there are 3 MIDI devices to select in windows:
1---sint SW wave GS (windows)
2---SB X-FI SYNTH A [E800]
3---SB X-FI SYNTH-B [E800] (default after installed creative drivers)
personally I have selected (sint SW wave GS) because is louder but I'm not sure if is better than the other 2
can anyone explain a bit the difference between these 3 or which one is the most accurate for playing DOS games using DOSBOX

Either the FluidSynth or SoundBlaster download options should be suitable. Clearly I'm using the FluidSynth one.
Loading it up has to be done through the MIDI control panel for your X-Fi. It's been a while since I've owned one so I'm no longer 100% certain of any of this, but the program you're after is the one that looks like a small piano keyboard. That should give you the option to set your SoundFont cache (it'll need to be at least as big as the SoundFont you're trying to load), along with selecting which Synth you're trying to set up and finally loading the SoundFont itself. I can't really be more accurate than that, I'm afraid, so there's going to be a little bit of T&E on your part there.
MUNT is a project run alongside DOSBox and SCUMMVM, designed to be a software alternative to a real MT32 or CM32 - neither of which is easily obtained anymore (or easily connected). If you're using a 32-bit OS it can be installed as a stand-alone driver or else you'll need to find a version of the aforementioned programs which support it. SCUMMVM I believe has it as part of the main package, but you'll need to use a version of DOSBox such as Taewoong/Ykhwong's to get MT32 going there.

Note that Roland still owns the licensing for the MT32 and CM32, so you'll need the appropriate ROMs to use it in either SCUMMVM or DOSBox. The only legal way to obtain these is from the physical device, but they are available online (I cannot direct you to them for obvious reasons).
The likely issue with Gabriel Knight is that it's MT32, not General MIDI. Most of the games which run through SCUMMVM are, as are a lot of old Sierra games (Jones in the Fast Lane, Quest for Glory 1 and 2, etc) and a few other earlier ones (Indianapolis 500, Hero Quest, Gods, MechWarrior, Death Track, Fire & Ice, etc). This means all the instruments will be out of order if you try to play them through General MIDI (Jones sounds like a Celeste and a Piano, for example). Some people have tried making SoundFonts to mimic MT32 but, frankly, I haven't found any that even come close to sounding right.
Do note also that you'll likely need to manually configure almost all of the MT32 games to actually run in MT32 mode, as well as DOSBox itself. Some will be easier than others in that they'll have a configuration program, but others are a little more old school. Batch files can be a real lifesaver here, such as what I use to run Indy 500 (comments after the semicolon are added for description and don't actually feature in my file):

mididevice MT32 ; Sets DOSBox to MT32 mode.
INDY.EXE /R ; Actually runs the game. /R is required for Roland mode, as opposed to /A for Ad-Lib.

Is JSF 2.1 the best to use for e-commerce and social application "bond together" Maybe. It all depends on your requirements. Like I state in the article, if you need lots of control over the front-end with javascript, Ajax, DHTML and whatnot then JSF might not be the right choice.
and the important goal for this application is the availability and the very efficient respond from the server for the millions and millions of the clients request, That does not depend on code. It depends on the server software, the server hardware and the configuration. You are not going to learn how to make this happen by asking questions in a forum, it will require plenty of study and experimentation. If you expect millions of client requests then only one server is probably not going to cut it for example; you'll have to start thinking about clustering. Whole books can be written about that subject, and probably have.
for sure If I am using Jboss , and by the way which is the really good application servers and web servers either is it Jboss or glassfish server . Both JBoss 7+ and Glassfish V3+ are excellent and fast Application Servers. I have always used JBoss so I am biased towards it.
Or there are alternatives out there ,Can you elaborate on them quite bit.There are certainly alternatives, Weblogic 12+, Websphere 8+, Geronimo 3+, probably some others I'm missing. I have no experience with any of them, so I cannot elaborate.

I'm new to Java, so excuse my stupid questions...
I have to port a win32 GUI application to a web application using Java. The original application is not written with Java and is a full blown multitier win32 GUI application accessing a SQL server database.
There are some requirement for the new application:
1) has to use opensource tools and frameworks
2) has to use JBoss application server
3) has to use eclipse for development
4) have a user interface as close as possible to the win32 application
5) has to use the same (mssql) database
The question is: which frameworks/tools is best to use in that environment ? JSP, JSF, RichFaces, Spring, Seam, Hibernate, Struts to name a few...

What is the major difference between these two and which do you prefer on your system ?

Bootcamp and Parallels both have different values to me so its hard to judge.
If youneed direct access to firewire devices (Firewire sound or video) Parallels ain't gonna do it for ya as there is no device interface level firewire support
Parallels being just a virtual machine does not have its own native file system. Instead it emulates a filesystem on a hard disk. It does this by creating a big file on the hard disk in the Mac OS X filesystem and that big file is treated as the hard disk in the virtual machine. With that in mind you don't need to do any partitioning of your OSX system to install parallels. Parallels as a virtual machine application is not revolutuionary and in my opinion is no better or worse than Virtual PC or VMWare in their repective hosted environments. I lot of the giddy-up surrounding Parallels was pure hype. Don't get me wrong its a good product and I use it. I just don't it as the next coming of the antimicrosoft savior.
BootCamp on the other side provides a capable fast Win-XP system. It does require a seperate partition but installing Bootcamp will allow you to configure that. MacDrive 6 allows you to access your HFS drives in windows XP so both O/Ses have read write access to both file systems. OSX natively only has read access to NTFS Partitions. You have to run Fat32 to allow OSX to read _and write_ to it. Win-XP will natively restrict you to 32GB size for FAT32 even though you can create larger prtitions in other applications. I have sucessfully done so as an act of futility, but if you want a simple setup environment then keep your XP partition under 32GB.
I came from a PC environment and wound up setting up XP several times to get partitioning right. I will be resetting again in a week or two to reduce my XP partition in size as I find I use OSX more than XP. Without doubt my XP setup is the fastest laptop environment I have ever used run /seen and use it almost exclusively to run Traktor DJ software as it doesn't run well at all under Rosetta and universal binaries are 3-4 months off.
Bootcamp gives you near full device level access to all the Mac hardware devices Built in sound and the camera being two that need work and apple note it in their release notes for bootcamp. Everything else including Firewire works great.
At the end of the day I use both but thus far don't use Parallels too much at all. Both have their own advantages.

You won't find a laptop that is good at gaming. You will find some laptops that will play some games pretty well (web based games), and some that will play some games okay with everything turned down, and a tiny handful of (very expensive) laptops that will play some of the most demanding games with some features cranked up a bit. You will not find a laptop that will play demanding games like a desktop,
Since you are looking in the $1000 and below range, you'll not find a single laptop that will play demanding games with any power. They will do fine on non-demanding games. Those with dedicated graphics (as opposed to integrated graphics) will do a better job at playing games, but they are much more expensive...
AMD has some new CPU/GPU hybrid chips which look very promising, but it is very early in the technology...

On which framework did firefox-nothumb was built on, as i would like to port it.

firefox mobile nothumb version run successfully on my samsung galaxy 5(gt-i5500).
the only problem was the font, font size is too high i think i need just to re-engineer that part but don't know on which framework i was built?

Identifying which library you are in

HI All
I run two libraries on my windows 7 pc, all was well with this until Apple upgraded..yuk! In the old, and Oh so much better, version of itunes you could see which library you were working in as its name was at the top of the screen. Not anymore. Other than gonig through content and playlists is there any other way of showing which library I am working in.
All help is greatly appreciated.

How to display Header Texts that you find in Sales Order and Billing Doc..

Hi,
I am having some problems accessing the text that is typed in the Header Texts area of the Sales Order and Billing. To access the Header Text you should first trigger the Sales Order (VA02) then once in the Sales Order Click Goto -> Header -> Texts. The same follows to the Billing.
I need to extract what is typed here on to a report. First of all I cant figure out which table is used to save this information. I am suspecting that this information is encoded and stored in a table. To display this I may need to decode it.
Is there some one who could help me to archive this please!!!

The texts you find in all SAP Object, like orders, invoice, materials, ... can be extract with FM 'READ_TEXT'.
To know the parameters of the FM, you 'll have to go to the text ( in plain page mode ), then you do "GOTO" -> "HEADER", and a pop-up window opens with the parameters you need ( Text name, language, text id, text object ).
The table "t_tdline" contains the entire text .
