Hi,
     We Purchase raw materials and issue them for production.
     But we use some of the raw materials internally for repairs, not for production.
     I want to know the expenditure quantitywise,itemwise.....
     Into which G/L account should this be taken in chart of accounts ?

if you are inventory manage by warehouse means ,You have to map account according to your requirement
for example
create 2 warehouse 1.RM whs 2.Repairs whs
Raw-material account code should be your inventory account for Raw material warehouse
Repairs and Maintains account code should be your inventory account for Repairs and maintains warehouse
now u can take report easily as what u want

You can't tell which device a purhcase was made on, but if your family members each have their own iTunes account to which your card is linked then you can check the purchase history on each of those accounts via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes - that should have 'purchase history' section with a 'see all' link to the right of it

Which Bank Clearing Account should be assigned to account symbol

Hi Friends,
I have 2 bank clearing accounts , CHECKS OUT ( 113005) AND CHECKS IN (113006) .
For the GL account assignment to account symbol, which bank clearing account should be used. I ask because only one bank clearing account GL can be assigned to the account symbol 3. Dont i have to use different GL for BUY & SELL spot transactions.

Hi Kamala,
You have to assign your both clearing account 113005 and 113006 to account symbol.
In this case you can use more than one account symbol with posting catagory "bank posting in payment currency". So, you must create new account symbol with with posting catagory "bank posting in payment currency" example 3-Out for check out clearing.
After that you can assign this new account symbol to suitable posting spec. (or you can crete new posting spec which assigned to suitable update type).

I wanted to know which G/L accounts should be created as cost elements since there are some G/L accounts that are usually not created as cost elements. Wats the logic that one needs to keep in mind while creating cost centres?

G/L accounts are of two types
1) Profit and loss account
2) Balance sheet account
There are two types of cost element
1) Primary Cost element
2) Secondary Cost element
In P&L statement, expenses and revenues are shown.
Similarly in cost center costs are depicted, maybe departmentwise or product wise, etc..
So for every P&L account primary cost element is created so that these costs flow to cost center or in other words it is reflected both in Financial accounting and in Controlling.For secondary cost element you dont require an existing G/L account.
In short secondary cost element are used for assessment and distribution

If i follow this instruction it will work for all customers. but i need sales person can not add this document but superior can add this. and i also need credit customer is not allowed to add SO and debit customer is allowed

My device iphone6 16gb storage is showing more than what i have installed in it. I tried restoring the phone but it still holds around 900 mb of storage which is not accounted. When i connect my phone to Itunes around 868mb is shown. Help

I have an iphone6 16gb and the device storage is showing more than what i have installed in it. A few days ago suddenly i got a popup window of my device storage getting full though i hardly had 4-5 apps and 500mb of photos. I tried restoring the phone and using it again as a new phone, i got my 10gb of storage but it still holds around 900 mb of storage which is not accounted. When i connect my phone to itunes, around 868mb is shown in the others section. I have no backed up data except for the contacts which are there in the icloud account. i dont understand what is that 868 mb of data.

This space is taken up by iOS 8.

1) Is it possible to show report which list all the accounts which do not have any activity associated with it?
2) A report which shows All the accounts with Activity ( Even though there is no activity associated with it)

Hi Rits,
You can achieve this using combine analysis. Create two reports and in the first one make the Activity Id blank, In the second report keep it as it is and do union of both the analysis.
This will give you all the accounts which have/have not Activities associated with them.

Which PnL GL Accounts should have cost elements created for??

Dear Sap FICO Experts,
I am confused that which profit and loss GL Accounts should have cost elements created.
Some suggested that Price Differences, Cost of Goods Sold, Revaluation of inventory and change in WIP GL Accounts should not have Cost elements created, and some have the other opinions. Kindly let me know the reason if you suggest that for particular accounts, cost elements should be created.

As per my knowledge not all P&L accounts are created as cost elements.
All expenses realted GL accoutns are created as cost element category 01
All revenue related GL accounts are created as cost element category 11
Al sales deductions related GL accounts are created as cost element category 12.
The above given are some of the categories of cost elements we can create in SAP.

Is it possible to find out all of the computers from which MY iChat account has logged into?

I think one or more people have been using MY iChat (mac.com) account to send out emails (pretending they are me). I've changed my password so it won't happen again, but Is there a way for me to see which computers have logged into/used MY iChat account?

I am not aware of any way you can get iChat to reveal this info directly.
You could use iChat with another Screen Name and Little Snitch.
Little Snitch is a Utility that will tell you what IPs and Ports an App is trying to use.
This way you add your old ID as a Buddy.
If they are On line then send them a Video Invite. You do not have to go the whole way but just enough for Little Snitch to tell you the IPs involved (A Public and possible a LAN IP).
Once you get that far past the Little Snitch Pop ups you can end the chat
Little Snitch will keep a running record in its Application Interface for you to fully note down the details (the ISP will also be listed)
I would also contact Moblieme about this.
If you can get hold of any of the email I would also look at the Full Header info
In Mail you can set this in Viewing (Preferences).
This will also list the ISP (Servers) it has passed through.
You can also generally see if the name has been spoofed.

Auto Script which creates SAP Account when AD gets created.

Hello Experts - Requirement is "Create SAP User account automatically when AD account gets created", can I acheive this through ECATT scripts?
If this is possible, idea is to create an ECATT script and schedule it to run every night to find all new users on AD and create their account on SAP and lock their accounts.
Do you think this can be acheived thru ECATT's?
If not ECATT, is there any way out to acheive my objective. We are planning to reduce overhead for SAP User admins, I was thinking on following steps:
1) New User request for AD
2) After approval create AD account
3) Design a scrip, which will look for all new users on AD and will create & lock them on SAP (Nightly Job or something)

I have a customer with 16 million users in SU01. They don't use IdM and don't need it either at the moment.
I have another customer with 700 users and they are implementing IdM because it makes sense. They need it to reduce complexity.
There are no IdM license costs, unless you provision non-SAP systems.
You can skip GRC by using a well designed concept for report RSUSR008_009_NEW if it meets your requirements - particularly the number of systems. It does however have it's limits (per ABAP client) and is not user friendly at first. Also no nice pie-charts for managers, etc.
Emergency User Access comes in many shapes and sizes... SAP declined a development suggestion from me to improve the "FireFighter" tool so I developed it on my own for my customers using BAPIs and they are happy. The main requiremenent not fullfilled is that the user context changes so that you loose access to HR data, queries, variants, workflow items, purchase orders, etc. The FireFighter users also become obvious targets of attacks and the application users (dialog) need authority to change the FireFighter's passwords to use the application - which means that they can use RFC to do the same without using the FireFighter transactions / logs / etc.
Regarding other IdMs, I have experience with some, but documented here on SDN is only the password syncronization problems which Novell suffers from. These "problems" are intentional - or better said --> their own fault for using "hacks"...

Which file contains accounts information

I have been having some problems recently and twice had to hard reset my MacBook. Each time Apple Mail lost all my mail account settings and I had to set them up again (for several mail accounts). Where are these stored so I can keep a backup which can be easily restored if necessary.

Your Mail accounts settings are in the preference file of the User's account.
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
It would also be wise to copy the mailboxes and emails within, of the whole Mail folder.
~/Library/Mail
+note: ~ refers to your Home folder, ie, the house icon in the Finder.+

When I delete an email from my hotmail account in the 'mail' application on my MacBook Pro, it is not deleted from the same 'mail' application on my iPhone 4s which my hotmail account has also been added. I thought my emails were synced over iCloud?

It is so frustrating because I cannot understand what is wrong. When I add an event to my calender on my iPhone it appears in my calender on my MacBook which is perfect and very convenient. The same thing occurs with reminders; everything syncs perfectly here. However when I delete an email from my MacBook from the 'mail' appliaction it doesn't delete from the same built-in application on my iPhone. This is extremely frustrating as I have to delete the same email twice on two different devices. I'd appreciate any feedback that would help resolve this problem!

Calendars (and contacts) can "sync" between your MBP and your iPhone through iCloud because they really live on the iCloud servers and the two devices are clients. iCloud can accomplish much the same trick for email messages because the email really resides on iCloud email servers.
If the email resides on some other server, that server is responsible for whatever syncing will be done. IMAP servers like the iCloud servers are built for such syncing; other mail servers may or may not be. iCloud would not be involved with email other than iCloud email.
I understand Hotmail has been changing how their email servers are accessed. Check with Hotmail support for any changes you may need to make to keep up.

Please see the 'Availability by Country' page on the SMP (SMP-> Channel Partner Portal -> Business Process -> SAP Business One -> Product Availability -> Availability by Country.
Your channel manager will be able to indicate whether using B1 in this African country can be supported & if appropriate put you in touch with the relevant contacts.

Help with which type of account to get

which do I choose? I'm a Professional, as in I have a Business, legally(so I would think Professional), but I'm brand new to to Adobe Products.I'm also a student of Photo Art & Mixed Media. I'm also a long time member of NAPP & KelbyOne(which makes me a student). I also do a lot of large event fundraisers & help High School student intern with me the entire process of shoot to print including film & digital(teacher!), yet I'm a disabled Paramedic/Firefighter after a career ending injury shortly after 9/11, leaving behind a 23yr career with FDNY & Commercial Ambulance care in CT, & my husband is a 21yr Ret Navy Chief & Vietnam Vet. Our income is limited to below poverty level since 4yrs ago SSD decided I could suddenly get a cure for MS & RA & PMR. We continue the fight but meanwhile, unfortunately the government doesn't think their Vets should be paid well. So..... Affordability wise, I'm not sure which ones best. please advise asap
