Which ink is used for documents and photos
I have a Canon MX922 printer. It is ink-intensive; but I like the output. I want to make best use of the ink cartridges.
I assume that 250 BK is used for documents
I end up with unused 251 PGBK. I assume it is used for color photo printing.
Can I redirect that ink cartridge to be used on documents rather than the 250 BK large cartridge to equalize out the ink useage?

I have used my Apple Classic Ipod for music and photo storeage/playback. Which codec to use for editing AND motion graphics (ala Final Cut Studio)?
I have a prosumer-level AVCHD camcorder (Panasonic HDC-TM700) and am working with Final Cut Studio. After doing a great deal of research it appears that there is NO real benefit to using any codec other than ProRes 422 for straight editing (a camera at this price point doesn't shoot images of a high enough quality to warrant using 422 HQ, which also requires more processor power, and not only does 4444 require rendering it also takes up a ton of space). However, I have read (many times) that there may be some benefit to using 422 HQ if I am doing motion graphics work (ala Motion 4). Can anyone verify this? Would it make any discernible difference when shooting with a camera like this? Even though it is a prosumer camcorder I am trying to squeeze as much value as I can out of the entire production.
Any input or advice?

Which monitor to use for graphic and web design?
I've tried searching these forums in vain.
I work as a Web/Graphic Designer and I've been using my ancient Samsung SyncMaster 740N plugged in to my Macbook-2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo for the last five or so years. I need to upgrade my monitor pronto.
Any recommendations for 22-24 inch monitors? Btw, where do I check to see if my MB has DVI?
I was thinking about the Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 or the Samsung P2370.I recently purchased, from BB, a Samsung 23" LED monitor that has made my life so much better! I intended to buy the new external monitor, but my MBP is two years old and not compatible with the monitors. The Samsung is comparable and far less pricey.

I accidentally set up two accounts. One account with my old e-mail address which I've been using for years and has all of my purchases on it. Now I have a new account with my current e-mail address. How do I disable this new account? I need to disable the new e-mail address account so that I can add it as an additional e-mail to my old account. THEN, how do I make this new e-mail address my primary e-mail for this old account?

I haven't tried videos on my camera yet. Do you use the Videos App to play them? I don't think they will play in the Photos App.
If yours are in a format that is not in Vazandrew's list, you may need to sync them to your computer and convert them to M4V or MP4 format. You can use a program like HandBrake to do the conversion. <HandBrake> Once converted, you can sync them back to the iPad and they should play.
This may not meet your needs, but the alternative appears to be getting a different camera. I don't know of another Video App that might work.

have a Comcast system and am going through a Bose amp for sound. The comcast box has an HDMI port which I've used for the Apple TV connection. Nothing works! Help.

Go to the iTunes App Store in the iTunes app on your computer. Type photo into the search window in the upper right corner and you will bring up all sorts of photo apps, free and paid, for enhancing, modifying, arranging, printing and sharing photos on an iPad.

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

Scanner for documents and books
I'm looking for a versatile scanner to use primarily for documents and books (not photos or film). If I were only looking for a document scanner, I'd be checking out the Fujuita ScanSnap iX500. It's pricy, but it has rave reviews. Unfortunately, I also need to scan chunks of books for my research, and I can't run my bound books through a document scanner.
So instead, I'm in the market for a flatbed or handheld scanner that can output scans as PDFs with OCR and, of course, is compatible with Macs. I use an Air at home and a Pro Retina at work. If I got a handheld scanner, it would have to be more like a wand than a pen - it has to be able to scan entire pages.
Any suggestions? I'd ideally like something fast (as fast as a flatbed or handheld could be, I guess) and not buggy, something that's geared toward black and white text rather than photos. Does something like this exist?
I'm also in the market for a wireless printer, but it seems like most printer/scanner combos do one or both jobs poorly, so I'm planning on getting them separately.deggie wrote:

To me there is nothing misleading about his title at all. It is a wireless scanner. He is using his iPad with CCK to get scans from the scanner onto his iPad. Lets look at it again:

I don't see anything that indicates he connected the scanner directly to his iPad via the CCK or that he connected his iPad to the scanner wirelessly--if he did why would he need the CCK?. With the CCK thrown it makes no sense to think that a wireless device would be directly connected via the CCK. That would indicate a wireless wired device which is rather meaningless. I have a CCK and there is no provision for that

As for your mention of the copy shop...misdirection...he specifically said it was useful to a student who needed to scan documents that cannot be removed from the library. How can a copy shop scanner even if it has a SD chip accomplish that? -
How do I transfer Windows documents and photos from an external hard drive to the proper corresponding folders and locations on my iMac?
Sorry, I had a typo in that sentence - I meant "on the left" (ie, the window which has your external hard drive displayed), and then I mentioned the keyboard shortcut "cmd-A".
There are lots of keyboard shortcuts which will come in useful for you. You've probably used similar shortcuts on the PC - on the Mac, we tend to use the command key ("cmd") which is immediately to the left or the right of the spacebar (both keys do the same thing; use whichever one you prefer). (In Windows, the "ctrl" key is used to do the same things.)
So, "cmd-A" means hold down the command key, and while you're holding it down, click the A key. This will select everything in the current Finder window - so, if you have a folder of files open, clicking cmd-A will select all the files.
Once it's all selected, click the mouse down anywhere in the blue selected area, and drag into the second Finder window.
You can use the Edit - Select All menu if you prefer, but keyboard shortcuts are usually more efficient.

My client has more then one Purchase Organization. Workflow for Purchase order release very from pur org to pur org. For example - workflow WS92000030 is trigger when PO is created for India pur org where as workflow WS92000021 is trigger when PO is created for US pur org.
I checked and found that same Object Type - BUS2012 & event - RELEASESTEPCREATED is used in all Pur. Org PO release workflow. Also I found in Transaction code - SWETYP that Type linkage activate for BUS2012, RELEASESTEPCREATED in all the PO workflow - WS92000030 & WS92000021.
As per my knowledge, event can be created in various way such as Function module, Change document, General status management, Business Transaction Events etc.
Can some one guide me, how can I found that which method is used for event creation in different pur org?
How can I fould what is the fuctional module used for event creation if Fuctional module used for event creation.
For your information, I can see in T. Code - SWUO that 'Result dependent on a check function module' for all the workflow - WS92000030, WS92000021 etc.

I dont think they have used the Function module or change document or any other kind of methods to trigger the workflow. This is because RELEASESTEPCREATED method is a standard method and it will be triggered by standard SAP. They can not make changes in standard sap saying RELEASESTEPCREATED should be triggered for this Purchase Org .
Istead what i think is, they might have given the Event Condition for each workflow.
In SWDD>> basic settings>> Start Events, we can give condition on triggering the workflow.
Please check this.

I know how to create pdf attachments. I've been doing it successfully for years, but as of a week ago, I am suddenly being prevent from attaching documents and photographs to email messages. They are not being accepted. I am, however, able to send documents and photos to Facebook messages, but not to email attachments. What do I access to resolve this problem?
What email application are you using?
If it's a web based email program, try clearing your cookies and cache:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.
