Which interface to use to run 2 extra screens with a macbook pro 13"

Hi All
Just bought MBP 13" (non retina) and would like to hear about some external monitor solutions in particular which interfaces are used.
Is the USB3 slot best to use with DisplayLink kit or the Thunderbolt and DisplayPort stuff.
My need is to run LogicPro 9 over 3 windows as this will improve my productivity, had been used to just MB White Screen and 1 external VGA Monitor.
Any suggestions would be most welcome...

Screen sharing setup in 10.5, 10.6 are described by the links by operating system. 10.7 is fairly similar to 10.6.
And if both Macs have Firewire, you can setup a Firewire over IP network for fast communication between machines. Note if you have two different Firewire ports a 6 pin to 9 pin Firewire cable does exist. There are no Firewire to USB cables.

External screen with new macbook pro 13"

Hello I've a issue with my new macbook pro 13" (i5,8go,SSD). I have a external 27" monitor yiiama B2776HDS-B1 who was working fine with my macbook pro 13" 2010 running on snow leopard. But with my new one, I've got a black border on each side of the screen with the same resolution (1920x1080) used with my old macbook. My macbook is linked with a vga cable and a apple mini display adaptator.

Using a remote desktop connection with the Macbook pro.

I use the remote desktop connection on the Macbook pro and am unable to exchange info between the mac and the remote connetion windows. For example, if I am writing an email from the remote connection and want to attach a document, photo etc. that I created on the Mac, it just doesn't work. It seems like the Mac and the desktop connection are completely seperated eventhough they are both on the screen in front of me. the systems I use for work are not Apple compatible and will not work on anything other than windows explorer and in my case the remote desk top connection. Any ideas!

depends what ports your projector supports. You do not give the exact model.
The standard way is to use MiniDisplay (AKA Thunderbolt) port on your MacBookPro and use an adapter to
ideally HDMI or DVI worst solution VGA.

my girlfriends 2007 macbook pro 3 screen stopped working yesterday so we bought a 2006 macbook pro 2 off craigslist and found out that it wont run mavricks so I was wondering if the screens were backwards compatable, like if I use the screen from the 2 and put it on the 3?

Running Mac Mini with a MacBook Pro?

Is it possible to run a Mac Mini using a MacBook Pro keyboard and display? Essentially using the keyboard and display of the MacBook to run the Mini as a normal desktop setup? I would be looking to use the Mini in Boot camp mode to run Windows and do not want to install Windows on my MacBook. Thanks for any tips.

You can remotely control most computers via software (generically) called VNC (Virtual Network Computing). The connection between the computers would preferably be via an ethernet cable.
While this can be easily set up in a Leopard-to-Leopard environment (in Leopard it is called "screen sharing"), it should also be possible in a Leopard (or Tiger) to Windows environment.
Using VNC, you should not expect the remote computer to be as responsive as using a real keyboard, mouse, and monitor directly connected to it.
You will also (temporarily) need a real keyboard, mouse, and monitor to configure the Mini initially.

Can I run two displays with my Macbook Pro?

I have the early 2011 Macbook Pro, with the 256mb ram on the graphics card, and what I think was the first generation "Thunderbolt" video output. I'm currently running a single 27"Cinema Display using a mini-display port adaptor out. I'm wondering if there's a way to drive two monitors with it - say a Thunderbolt display and the current Cinema Display? What configuration of displays, adaptors, and/or cables would I need to do this?
