Which iPhone is supported by Lightroom Mobile for iPhone?

I cannot install Lightroom Mobile on my iPhone 4, I am told by iTunes that my iPhone 4 is incompatible, yet nowhere have I found any information suggesting anyone else is having this problem and I cannot find any information about supported iPhones.
My iPhone 4 is running 7.1.1.
I have Lightroom Mobile working perfectly on my iPad so I cannot see this as being a local issue.
Any suggestions as to how to resolve this issue?

The info is listed at the app-store. see the attached screenshot...

Is anyone else having trouble logging into Lightroom mobile for iPhone?

It's working now. I guess you have to set it up in LR first. So I went through the LR setup and waited for an email from Adobe. I followed those steps next and then tried the phone again. This time it worked.

  • How do I rotate an image in Lightroom Mobile for the iPhone?

    Hi,
Maybe I am missing something obvious, but I can't figure out how to rotate any images in Lightroom Mobile for the iPhone. The documentation is for the iPad and shows a rotate control on the right hand side of the screen, but no such control is showing up on the phone. I tried various numbers of fingers to just spin the image, but no luck. Can someone please let me know how this is supposed to work?
    Thanks!

    Hey, thanks!
I had tried forever to figure that out. I could rotate up to about 45 degrees or so, but even that was hard to control.
    Thanks for the help.

  • FileMaker Mobile for iPhone?

FileMaker (a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple) have produced a product called FileMaker Mobile for some time see http://www.filemaker.com/products/fmm/ which runs a subset of FileMaker on mobile devices such as Palm or Windows Mobile (née Pocket PC) devices.
The company I work for would like to see this product upgraded and ported to the iPhone.
Interestingly, while all the rest of the FileMaker range was recently upgraded to version 9, Mobile still languishes at version 8. Are they busy working on an iPhone version?
Yes, it maybe possible to do much of this using Safari to access via the web a FileMaker database but that relies on Internet access which is often not going to be available. Apart from the fact that WiFi costs literally a fortune here in the UK, our staff are often on Government sites with no WiFi access.
Note: As currently FileMaker Mobile only supports Palm (who have not updated their Mac support in eons and look like fading away as a company), and Windows Mobile (which does not support syncing FileMaker Mobile to the Mac), one could argue supporting the iPhone is the only path for the future.

I don't know what you mean about the internet access not being available on the iPhone; internet access is always available via either EDGE or Wi-Fi. That said, the PHP assistant and web publishing aspects of FM9 are outstanding, and I think that it will overtake the need for a mobile program. The reason being that with the PHP assistant, it optimizes the dbase for use over the internet.
We have not yet tried using FMP9 with web access, but certainly FMP6 (which we are still currently using - although we are working on upgrading to 9) is far, far too slow to use over a GPRS speed link (remember EDGE is practically none existent in Europe, and the first iPhone will not do 3G). As I said, WiFi will often not be available due to either cost or location, or deliberate policy of the corporate or government site we are working on. What I want to do is like FM Mobile run the database self contained on the mobile device (in this case an iPhone), which does not require any network connection at all, with changes later synced via the computer (just like FM Mobile and a Palm).

  • Visto Mobile for Iphone

I started testing out Visto Mobile for Iphone to access exchange email from work. So far it works great. You have to leave your computer on at work, which I do anyway. Email comes to Iphone. If I delete on the Iphone, it deletes on the work computer.
Is there a catch, other than Visto will eventually charge for this? Is anyone else trying this out? Is it safe and secure to use from my work's network standpoint? It solves my problems, so I'm hoping this is a viable solution, as long as security is not an issue. (I have no idea what Visto will ultimately charge for this service, any ideas??)
    Thanks,

Its sort of secure. Any time an email goes through a 3rd party server there is a risk. For most of us its not that big a risk, but its still there.
No answers as to cost but I started using it the other day and it is Fan-****-tastic.

    Hi,
are there any plans to bring Lightroom mobile for Windows Phones and Windows Tablets? Why don't use the Universal App Concept which Microsoft has reavealed recently.

Not so far, only for Apple, although there has been a statement about it being available for Android devices at some point in the future.
The http://lightroom.adobe.com website should work for displaying your LR-synched collections in a web-browser.

I do not know anything about MTS or Beeline - are they GSM carriers, do they offer LTE and if so, on what frequencies?
The USA online store sells unlocked iPhones, which are model A1428 and is the same model phone as sold carrier-locked to AT&T here.  But again, you cannot buy anything from the USA online unless you have a USA billing address, USA-issued payment source (e.g. credit card) and have it shipped within the USA.  If you are in Russia, you need to buy from a site that sells in Russia, not from the USA online Apple Store.

  • Do iPhone photos sync to Lightroom Mobile in Original Quality or Smart Preview?

From my iPhone, I want to get the original (high quality) photo from my camera roll into Lightroom on my desktop. Currently, I am doing this by having Dropbox read my camera roll, and using WiFi, sync all new photos to a Dropbox folder. Then, when I launch Lightroom on my desktop, I have watch folder setup that imports all new photos sync'ed from Dropbox into Lightroom.
I recently downloaded Lightroom Mobile, which has the ability to import any new photos from the camera roll directly to Lightroom Mobile. I have set this up to sync to Lightroom on my desktop with my Lightroom Mobile. From what I have read online though, Lightroom Mobile only syncs "smart previews", not the original image. This make sense for RAW files as they are huge, but what about regular JPEGs?
My question is, if someone sets up Lightroom Mobile to sync in this way (from iPhone camera roll -> Lightroom Mobile -> Lightroom Desktop), does it sync the original (high quality) photo to your desktop, or just a Smart Preview? I am wondering if I can now eliminate the Dropbox syncing, and just use Lightroom Mobile instead.

When you import photos from your camera roll via Lr Mobile, then the original will be synced to Lr Deskop. But when you open up the photo in Lr Mobile you will see a smaller kind of smart preview. Hope that answers your question. - Guido

  • Do you have any more information about the Lightroom Mobile for tablet?  [was:Information]

Hey just doing a check. In. Do you have any more information about the Lightroom app for tablet?  Like when it is coming out, what features will it have?  Because I can't Waite. Especially for editing a raw file on a tablet. Excited.
I do have a  Few questions. 1. Will the app have a library mode that allows the photographer to display the raw files  on the app like how photo shop touch does. Example. When your  import a photo from the iPad it shows up in the photo app that Apple makes. But when you take that photo into photo shop and save it as a psdx file, the project or photo does not show up in the original photo app by apple.
    2. Will the app use the smart previews when you import a raw file on to the iPad the same as you do with a computer?
    3. Do you have to Waite to go home to edit a raw file or can you edit on the tablet once you import the photo from camera to iPad? Instead of going home import to computer into Lightroom 5, then to adobe cloud, then to iPad.
    4. Will the app display catalog, book, etc modes like Lightroom 5 has?

At this stage, we don't know any more about Lightroom Mobile than Adobe revealed in Sep 2013

Adobe will reveal more when they're good and ready.
