Which is better/easier to pass?

Hi,
I've passed 1Z0-051 exam few weeks ego. Now I may select one of exams: 1Z0-144, 1Z0-147 and must pass it to receive OCA certificate.
I'd like to ask for an advice...
Which one is easier to pass? Which one is better to pass?
Thanks in advance,
JackK

The Exam 144 is for 11g and the other is for 9i and 10g ........

  • Which is better to use: BEx query or Web Application as an iView in portal?

    Hi gurus!
Are there any experienced opinions, which is better - publish a BEx query in portal or publish a BEx Web Application in portal? Is it easier to alter the layout attributes etc. if I create a BEx Web Application first before publishing?
What is the way of fixing for example filter item height if I publish BEx query in portal - is there a Web Application that it uses anyhow which I can fix? Or can I use in that case iView -properties in portal?
    Thankful for advice
    Sari

ok, means i can use jsp:useBean tag for all my
classes that are not actually bean. so it will be
instantiated at run time and provide efficiency .No. Jsp:useBean is used for java bean components.
    >
but when should i use import statement in my jsp and
it happen at translation time so will it create any
type of burden for my code if i import multiple
classes. For non-java beans, you need to import the classes, period.
    It's not a burden, it's a necessity.

  • Which is better an android or apple

Which is better getting an android smart phone or an Apple I Phone?

As the poster Horses 547 said its a matter of personal preference. However I own and use both. Printing via air print is smooth and easy on an iphone. Printing on a android phone is iffy and tedious and you will have to find an app to print since there is no native app to do so. I purchased http://www.printhand.com which costs around $12 from the app store. but it is in my opinion the best printing app out there for android. I use it on my android tablet as well and its great. This company is the maker of the print app on iphones.
The iphone is a little harder to put your own ringtone on the device. However very easy from the Itunes you put on your computer and hook into.
Another thing an iphone does is if you use their cloud service or pay for a song it is available on all your ios devices. Iphone, ipad, or ipod or up to five computers registered through itunes on those computers.
Google play music also can sync with all your android devices.
Iphone don't have external Micro SD card slots, so the storage on the phone is all you have.
Iphones use imessage which does not count against your text allotment  to another iphone or ipad user. it send regular text to non iphone users.
Another thing is Face Time but I found a better program called oovoo at http://www.oovoo.com or in the Google Play Store for free.
Iphones are paper thin but I have an android that has a larger view area and is also paper thin and light. Depending on the android phone it may have a removable battery, whereas iphones are sealed as are some new androids. I have found the sound for music better on my iphone, and videos are crystal clear. Again on some better androids the music and video is comparable .
There is really not many differences but it up to the user.
One last good thing is iphones are updated via Apple, no long waits for OS updates like is done with Android devices, and android devices on Verizon.

  • Which is Better? Mac or PC?

    Which is Better?
Intel iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.5)

    Hello,
I'm not going to argue that a Mac is better, but I do have a response to:
looking computers and the software is great however
they have major compatibility issues. for example
many websites do not support mac's Ex.
    www.aircanada.com
I have never had any problem exchanging documents or viewing web pages with the Mac.
All my document exchanges have worked flawlessly, and work going both to and from Windows PC's.
But, you need to make sure you are using the right program on the Mac if you want to share files with PC users.
As for the website compatibility, the site you provided as an example will work just fine. They just don't want you to know it.
What that website is doing, is running a check to see what web-browser you are using. Beyond that, they are also running a check to see which computer you are using.
So, what you need to do is make sure that your browser tells their website what it wants to hear.
So, in Safari, you can use the "Debug" menu to have Safari report itself as the Windows version of Internet Explorer.
Go to the Debug menu, then pick "User Agent", then choose: "Windows MSIE 6.0".
If the site still won't load, then go to the site first, and perform the selection again from the Debug menu.
Basically, what you are doing is changing what Safari identifies itself as.
Additionally, the website that you listed does list that it is compatible with Mac OS 9.0 or later. So, it should work provided you pass it's checks.
If for some reason it still won't work, contact them since they say that it is compatible with the Mac.
The only sites that absolutely will not work with a Mac are sites that use "Active X" to take over control of your computer or communicate directly with the operating system. Fortunately, those sites are getting rarer and rarer.
The only site I've run across in recent times that uses Active X is Microsoft's Windows Update site (which you wouldn't need with a Mac anyway).
As for enabling the "Debug" menu in Safari, if it is not already there, you can do that by:
    Closing Safari
Open "Terminal" which is located at:
Hard Drive --> Applications --> Utilities --> Terminal
Then type the following at the command line:
    defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1
If you would prefer an automated method of enabling the Debug menu, you can always download the free Safari Enhancer program which includes a setting for this feature:

  • Shared Variable Alias vs Programmatic Assignment, which is better?

    Hello,
I am programming an application for a cRIO platform using the scan engine in LV2009SP1.  I'd like to use the cRIO as a standalone controller, and only connect a computer to it occasionally to download data.  I decided to do this using shared variables.  So far I've been successful at doing this in two ways, both involved creating nearly identical sets of shared variables on the cRIO and on the PC, which I think (correct me if I'm wrong) I understand is the way it should be done.  The differences are the following:
The first method was to create a parallel loop on the RT VI which would assign the values passed through the shared variables to the individual I/O channels.
The second method was to Enable Aliasing on each shared variable and bind it to the appropriate I/O channel.
After deploying the RT code to the cRIO for each case and running the UI on the PC, I noticed that both worked, however, the second method showed a short lag between command and feedback (~200ms or so).  The test I ran was to wire an analog output to an analog input, command the AO, and read back the value on the AI.  I can deal with the delay on the UI since it's only for reference - what I'm really interested in is the data that's logged on the cRIO controller.  My question is:  Is one of the two methods better or more appropriate than the other?  Is there something even better?
    Thanks,
    -NS

    Hi NS,
No correction necessary.  These are both valid ways of sharing data between your Real-Time controller and your PC.  Here's a forum that discusses some similar options to accomplish the same task (
Shared variable architecture for distributed crio system)
Regarding the latency issue with method 2, take a look at KnowledgeBase: Why Is Accessing IO Variables Through The Shared Variable Interface So Slow?
    I hope this helps!

  • Which is better, many PXI cards or fewer PXI cards with more SCXI cards?

I have a pretty basic question.  Which is "better", using multiple PXI cards for analog inputs or a single PXI card and multiple SCXI cards?  For example, if I have say 100 channels to sample (all at the same rate), I could use 2 6225s at 80 ch each.  Or I could use 1 6220 and 4 SCXI 1100s (32 ch each).  What are the pros and cons with either approach?  Keep in mind sample rate probably isn't an issue (less than 1 kHz) but it is the same for all channels.
    Thanks.

The pros/cons will depend on your application now and in the future.  I recommend contacting your local NI sales representative.  Synchronizing across a PXI system is easy to do via the backplane.  There are PXI/SCXI combo chassis available, you could use PXI multifunction DAQ cards and then SCC for signal conditioning for thermocouples for additional functionality later.  There are many possibilities that may be best discussed with your sales representative.

  • Which is better storing string values in Map or String buffer

    Hi,
I have a store a 10 string values in a cookie. Do i use a String buffer and append all values or put it in a hash map.
If i put in a string buffer i have to use a string tokenizer to loop and extract the values., but if i am using a map then
retrieval will be easier, but in terms of memory management, which is better. as i have to create this cookie for every unique IP hitting my site.

That doesn't make it a good idea. The bytes of memory you'd lose by using a Map would be made up by the fact that Map was expressly made for storing key/value pairs. Memory management should be about the 200th factor you should consider.

I have nothing against nHibernate. I have worked with it in 3 shops. In
one shop,  nHibernate was an absolute dog, and it was dead slow.  In the
other shop nHipernate was ok with the speed and was using Afluent.
However, in both of those shops nHibernate was a PITA to deal with, and
one had to build all those objects by hand. The other shop had a 3rd
party version of nHiberate that had a designer that built the objects,
but it was too slow, and the shop went back to ADO.NET and T-SQL/

  • Which is better, the Apple TimeCapsule or the WD MyCloud for backing up pixs and datas?

I am not too sure which is better for backing up my pixs that i have saved and dont want to lose them,am thinking which would be best for me to purchase?the apple timecapsule or the wd mycloud,i heard great things about both but not sure from someone who got experience,so could u help me out and tell me which is better and why?
    thanks in advance...

Backup is backup. Doesn't matter how you do it, but that you do it.
Given the choice you posited I would choose the Time Capsule if you want to use Time Machine. If you wish to use third-party backup software then you can only use the WD. It comes with its own proprietary backup software. Or you can go another direction and avoid cloud/network backup which is very slow.
    Basic Backup
For some people Time Machine will be more than adequate. Time Machine is part of OS X. There are two components:
    1. A Time Machine preferences panel as part of System Preferences;
    2. A Time Machine application located in the Applications folder. It is
used to manage backups and to restore backups. Time Machine
requires a backup drive that is at least twice the capacity of the
         drive being backed up.
    3. Time Machine requires a backup drive that is at least double the
capacity of the drive(s) it backs up.
Alternatively, get an external drive at least equal in size to the internal hard drive and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the Restore option of Disk Utility. You can also make and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (order is not significant):
      1. Carbon Copy Cloner
      2. Get Backup
      3. Deja Vu
      4. SuperDuper!
      5. Synk Pro
      6. Tri-Backup
Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on backup and restore.  Also read How to Back Up and Restore Your Files. For help with using Time Machine visit Pondini's Time Machine FAQ for help with all things Time Machine.
Although you can buy a complete external drive system, you can also put one together if you are so inclined.  It's relatively easy and only requires a Phillips head screwdriver (typically.)  You can purchase hard drives separately.  This gives you an opportunity to shop for the best prices on a hard drive of your choice.  Reliable brands include Seagate, Hitachi, Western Digital, Toshiba, and Fujitsu.  You can find reviews and benchmarks on many drives at Storage Review.
    Enclosures for FireWire and USB are readily available.  You can find only FireWire enclosures, only USB enclosures, and enclosures that feature multiple ports.  I would stress getting enclosures that use the Oxford chipsets especially for Firewire drives (911, 921, 922, for example.)  You can find enclosures at places such as;
      1. Cool Drives
      2. OWC
      3. WiebeTech
      4. Firewire Direct
      5. California Drives
      6. NewEgg
All you need do is remove a case cover, mount the hard drive in the enclosure and connect the cables, then re-attach the case cover.  Usually the only tool required is a small or medium Phillips screwdriver.

  • Which is better, FCS or CS4?

Im going to start making videos...
so, i would like your opinions on which is better, Final Cut Studio 3 or Creative Suite 4?
it would be better if the apps:
    1. have templates
    2. are easy to use (for beginners)
    btw,
If CS4, I know that I'll get Photoshop.
But, FCS 3, does it has any Photoshop equivalents?
    Soundbooth=CS4
    Soundtrack Pro=FCS 3
    Which is better?

If you are beginning, why don't you start with iMovie? It's already on your Mac and you can get an idea of what video editing is like. Both Final Cut Studio and Adobe CS5 have a high learning curve, and I wouldn't consider putting either one of them on a 13" laptop.
I really encourage you to consider your requirements & what kind of video you anticipate doing (home movies or are you planning to do commercials for Nike?). What level of experience do you currently have?

  • Which is better? JDO or Java Persistance API?

    Hi folks
I'm trying to build an app on Google's cloud service.
Looking into this ( [http://code.google.com/appengine/docs/java/overview.html|http://code.google.com/appengine/docs/java/overview.html]), it tells me that for java projects there are 2 possibilities for persistance - JDO , and Java Persistance. Does anyone have any advice on which is better and/or easier? Also, if anyone has a small example they could post, that would be very useful too.
this isn't exactly a JDBC question, and maybe this should be posted somewhere else? If so please tell me where I should be asking this question.
    Thanks!
    -Tom

I personally find Java Persistence to be easy to use and it works just fine.
I can't say if you would agree. You'll just have to judge that for yourself, which means: put some effort into trying it out. I'd start by not requesting small examples in a forum, but by actually looking for them yourself using your search engine of choice.

  • Which is better? Extend JFrame or Wrap it in a class???

Just a random thought, have been programming swing for a long time now and during the time have been researhed a lot of swing examples on web and found out that most people tend to make a class extend JFrame in order to use it stuff.
However the way i've been programming is to wrap it around a class by creating an instance of JFrame inside my class. In that way i feel is more easier to program.
But which is better style of programming and which is better programming technique in terms of robustness, reusablitity & good general programming practice?

The usual answer, it depends. If you don't want to change a JFrame's behaviour, you wrap it. If the JFrame class is lacking a feature you need, you extend it and implement the desired feature.

  • Which is better ? for loop or iterator ??

    Hi,
I have one array list having more than 100 objects in it.
I have two way to ietrator.
    1.
    for(int i=0; i<list.size(); i++)

    Iterator i = list.getIterator()
    while(i.hasNext())

which is better in performance ??

Well okay. It's an easy optimization but I guess Sun
doesn't want to "bail out" people who don't know
their data structures. It won't always be optimal, though. If you use
iterators and don't iterate the whole way through
every time, it would degrade performance. It's hard
for them to make assumptions about how you will
access the data. So you punish people who do use it
properly if you do that.I don't know. The optimization I suggested is isolated to random accesses in the linked list only. Say you access index 5. The node pointer corresponding to 5 is stored and if the next access is index 6 the node pointer you're looking for is pointer.next. There's no need to walk the list from the beginning.
