Which is better option to trigger data to XI

Hi Experts,
Happy new Year to all of you.
here I have one query, How we decide at the ERP side, whether we have to use IDOC, RFC and Proxy to trigger the Datafor the XI Interface. I know for the XI Performabce wise proxy is better option.
Please give more inputs of yours on this.
Many Thanks.

Suppose if you develope scenario between IDoc->PI> in this case you need to import IDoc from SAP System in to PI,when you triegegr IDoc in ERP/ECC the day will reacches PI System.
If you develop RFC>PI-> IN THIS CASE THE PROCEDURE ALSO SAME,like import RFC in to PI,trigger RFC in ERP system...
When you go for Prosy, you need to specify the logic in ABAP Proxy class which program, and interface going to use.
we can say Proxy performce better, but it depends on volume of Data.

  • WHICH IS BETTER OPTION IN THE U.S. MARKET SAP CRM or SAP SD

Surely I would have helped in India.
As  far as NY or NJ is concerned I don't know much.
Here in India we have SIEMENS or GENOVATE which provide SAP Cerification.
Search for some authorized training acadamey of SAP there, search on net........

  • Which is better  option SAP XI vs webservices to interact with Biztalk

    HI everyone,
We have biztalk as integration tool. I would like to know is it feasible to implement Biztalk with SAP XI to communicate with our SAP ECC server. I heard it will be over weight to use both Biztalk and SAP XI coz each will have its own message box and leads to more process time. So we are planning to use Biztalk with SAP webservices. So please let me know which is better as cost wise and work wise biztalk with SAP XI or Biztalk with SAP Web services.
SAP Guys please take some time to provide some useful information. it will be much appreciated.
    cheers
    ram

SAP XI and BizTalk both offer a tight integration of Web Services into the engine and development tools. Using the SAP XI SOAP Adapter enables the consumption and publication of Web Services based on the SOAP 1.1 protocol according to the WS-Basic Profile 1.0.
The BizTalk SOAP Adapter also offers Web Services support based on SOAP 1.1
support and Basic Profile 1.0 capabilities.
Anyway XI and Biztalk can interoperate, you should evaluate the scenario you are going to implement.
Based on transactionality, trhroughtput, communication etc, the following scenarios are in focus:
    Synchronous and non-transactional communication
    Synchronous and transactional communication
    Asynchronous and non-transactional communication
    Asynchronous and transactional communication
This leads to eight scenarios overall, as both hubs may act as the initiating starting point of the communication. The choice of communication types for a certain integration process depends on business needs, technical needs and performance considerations.
if it may be useful rewards point are appreciated

  • Which is better for User Managed Hot backup - running in cron or oracle scheduler

We are taking hot backup in our environment by using sql script of just begin backup, host copy and end backup
Can we use this script to be put in cron for weekly two times or to use oracle scheduler .
Which is better option and why?

The answer to your question depens on your condition. Do you have more experienced Unix admin or DBA?
From my point of view cron is better becuase all you need is SQL*Plus utility and shell script:
    export ORACLE_SID=...
    sqlplus <username>/<password> as sysdba <<EOF
    ALTER TABLESPACE .. BEGIN BACKUP;
    host copy ..
    ALTER TABLESPACE .. END BACKUP;
    EXIT
    EOF

  • Which is better? Resize datafile or add datafile in same diskgroup.

    Hi All,
Can you explain which is better option between adding a datafile or resizing one in a diskgroup with 20 disks?
    Regards,
    Avi

    hello buddy,
Since you know that a small file datafile has a limitation of 32gb then if your tablespace is out of this space then the solution is add more dfiles, also, in my point of view less datafiles in a hughe database is better for evite ckpt contention. The answer is dependo always for your situation!!!
    I hope it helps

  • Which is better or 'standard' option for a Delta DTP request

    Hi folks,
I am creating a delta DTP for loading HR Payroll data. While creating the DTP I see two options
    a) Only Get Delta once
    b) Get all new data request by request
which is a better option if I have a lot of records to upload for every delta upload.
Points waiting to be given to you...
    Thanks
    Sunil

U should go with Get all new data request by request
    i. With Only Get Delta Once, define if the source requests should be transferred only once.
Setting this flag ensures that the content of the InfoProvider is an exact representation of the source data.
A scenario of this type may be required if you always want an InfoProvider to contain the most recent data for a query, but technical reasons prevent the DataSource on which it is based from delivering a delta (new, changed or deleted data records). For this type of DataSource, the current data set for the required selection can only be transferred using a full update.
In this case, a DataStore object cannot normally be used to determine the missing delta information (overwrite and create delta). If this is not logically possible because, for example, data is deleted in the source without delivering reverse records, you can set this flag and perform a snapshot scenario. Only the most recent request for this DataSource is retained in the InfoProvider. Earlier requests for the DataSource are deleted from the (target) InfoProvider before a new one is requested (this is done by a process in a process chain, for example). They are not transferred again by the DTP delta process. When the system determines the delta when a new DTP request is generated, these earlier (source) requests are considered to have been retrieved
ii. Define if you want to Get All New Data in Source Request by Request.
Since a DTP bundles all transfer-relevant requests from the source, it sometimes generates large requests. If you do not want to use a single DTP request to transfer the dataset from the source because the dataset is too large, you can set the Get All New Data in Source Request by Request flag. This specifies that you want the DTP to read only one request from the source at a time. Once processing is completed, the DTP request checks for further new requests in the source. If it finds any, it automatically creates an additional DTP request.

  • Which is better, the Apple TimeCapsule or the WD MyCloud for backing up pixs and datas?

I am not too sure which is better for backing up my pixs that i have saved and dont want to lose them,am thinking which would be best for me to purchase?the apple timecapsule or the wd mycloud,i heard great things about both but not sure from someone who got experience,so could u help me out and tell me which is better and why?
    thanks in advance...

Backup is backup. Doesn't matter how you do it, but that you do it.
Given the choice you posited I would choose the Time Capsule if you want to use Time Machine. If you wish to use third-party backup software then you can only use the WD. It comes with its own proprietary backup software. Or you can go another direction and avoid cloud/network backup which is very slow.
    Basic Backup
For some people Time Machine will be more than adequate. Time Machine is part of OS X. There are two components:
    1. A Time Machine preferences panel as part of System Preferences;
    2. A Time Machine application located in the Applications folder. It is
used to manage backups and to restore backups. Time Machine
requires a backup drive that is at least twice the capacity of the
         drive being backed up.
    3. Time Machine requires a backup drive that is at least double the
capacity of the drive(s) it backs up.
Alternatively, get an external drive at least equal in size to the internal hard drive and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the Restore option of Disk Utility. You can also make and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (order is not significant):
      1. Carbon Copy Cloner
      2. Get Backup
      3. Deja Vu
      4. SuperDuper!
      5. Synk Pro
      6. Tri-Backup
Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on backup and restore.  Also read How to Back Up and Restore Your Files. For help with using Time Machine visit Pondini's Time Machine FAQ for help with all things Time Machine.
Although you can buy a complete external drive system, you can also put one together if you are so inclined.  It's relatively easy and only requires a Phillips head screwdriver (typically.)  You can purchase hard drives separately.  This gives you an opportunity to shop for the best prices on a hard drive of your choice.  Reliable brands include Seagate, Hitachi, Western Digital, Toshiba, and Fujitsu.  You can find reviews and benchmarks on many drives at Storage Review.
    Enclosures for FireWire and USB are readily available.  You can find only FireWire enclosures, only USB enclosures, and enclosures that feature multiple ports.  I would stress getting enclosures that use the Oxford chipsets especially for Firewire drives (911, 921, 922, for example.)  You can find enclosures at places such as;
      1. Cool Drives
      2. OWC
      3. WiebeTech
      4. Firewire Direct
      5. California Drives
      6. NewEgg
All you need do is remove a case cover, mount the hard drive in the enclosure and connect the cables, then re-attach the case cover.  Usually the only tool required is a small or medium Phillips screwdriver.

  • Which is better database audit or database trigger ?

    Hello ,
    Hope everyone is doing well.............
I have a doubt , which i have mentioned below ........ Plz help me on this ....
Suppose I want to track all the actions that is going to be performed on a table (example -UPDATE), like
1-> which user has modified the table .
2-> At which time the data has been modified .
3 -> before image of data and after image of the data
In order to track all the above information , we can user oracle database audit or we can create a trigger that wiill fire for that
perticular event and track all the informations in to a table .
    But my questions are
-> On which scenario should i use trigger
-> On which scenario should i use database audit
-> In between trigger and database audit , which one sholud be used keeping in mind about the performance .
    Thanks

ThanksUse database auditing whenever possible, FGA is also available on DML from 10g onwards.Use trigger when you've to capture before and after value.

  • Which is the better option?

Hey, I'm looking at getting a new mac but I'm not sure what's the better option. My choice right now is between the base 21.5 inch iMac or the Mac mini ( $799 model), and my main use for it would be recording instruments, music production, and movies / netflix. The 21.5 inch Mac would only give me 8gb of ram, whereas the Mac mini I'd instantly be able to upgrade to 16gb. Another bonus to the mac mini is that I can hook it up to whatever screen I want including my TV for movies. Also, the firewire on the mac mini would be extremely useful as some of the higher quality recording interfaces use firewire. And from what I understand I can also add a SSD to the mac mini? For these reasons I'm leaning towards the Mac mini but I've been recommended by representatives at apple to get the iMac as it's more powerful supposedly, so I'm not sure which one would be better. I know the iMac has a dedicated graphics card vs the integrated hd 4000 on the Mac mini, but I'm not exactly sure how that affects me for what I plan on using the computer for. I'd have to buy a monitor and mouse + keyboard for the mac mini, so it ends up costing me the same as the base model iMac. Any suggestions/ opinions would be appreciated, thanks.

I would recommend getting the 16GB iMac. If money is an issue then consider using Apples refurbished store, there is no downside to buying from it as they sell current machine, the products have the same warranty as a new machine, and are eligible for AppleCare.
Because you did not compelete a profile we have no idea where on the planet you are located. To find the US refurb store click:

  • CSM Redundancy : FT or HSRP +FT .. Which is the better option?

    Hi,
I would like to know for redundancy between CSMs which is the better option FT or HSRP with FT.. and why ?
    Regards

The CSM does not run HSRP.
So your only option is FT failover.

  • Which is a better option : VO on DB View or a VO with two EOs

    I have 2 tables:
ITEMS_BASE and ITEMS_TL ( contains all translatable column of base table: ITEM_BASE).
What is better option for me:
    1. TO create a DB View on top of ITEMS_BASE & ITEMS_TL and then create my VO on the DB View OR
    2. Create 2 EOs on ITEMS_BASE and ITEMS_TL and create my VO on these 2 EOs.
Please also explain reason behind selection of your choice.
    regards -Anuj

    Jdev ver : 11.1.1.4
    Use Case:
I want to display a rule message in the language as per users local. Only rule name & rule description is a translatable column so i have kept it into separate table.
    Table design:
    Table name : RULE_B
Columns : PlantCd, ModuleCd, IsRuleApplicable, Value
    Example data : 101, safety, Y, 5
    Table name : RULE_T
Columns : PlantCd, ModuleCd, RuleName, RuleDesc, Lang
Example data : 101, safety, 'Minimum Observation required', 'Total number of observation required per site', 'EN'
101, safety, 'garbage input', 'garbage input', 'gr'
So i have 2 choices here. either I should create 2 EOs on RULE_B and RULE_T and make my VO on these 2 EOs Or
create an updatable DB View comprising RULE_B and RULE_T and create my VO on the DB View.

  • Option in desktop mac / which is better?

My husband plays games on his desk top with 17in screen which is not MAC. For his birthday I thought it would be good to give him a 22-27in monitor as I can get a good one for about low $200.00. Than I thought, why not just get a (used) mini mac to go with it. Than I thought again and started wondering is it better to go with used mini and new flat monitor or get a used imac?
I'm pretty sure that I can get the used mini and new monitor for cheaper price but I really like the wide screen mac monitors... My husband likes to play games, use itunes, burn DVD, Photo... and ect....
Can anyone tell me which is better way to go and what exactly I should be looking at? I need model number and you need to draw me a picture what I should be pricing or I won't understand...
Thanks for helping the girl who rides the short bus when it comes to computers.

Its me... again... to continue the last question, I just read that mac mini is not good for game playing??? because most of the games need xp or some other thing that mac doesn't have?? can u confirm?

  • Which is better for performance Azure SQL Database or SQL Server in Azure VM?

    Hi,
We are building an ASP.NET app that will be running on Microsoft Cloud which I think is the new name for Windows Azure. We're expecting this app to have many simultaneous users and want to make sure that we provide excellent performance to end users.
    Here are our main concerns/desires:
Performance is paramount. Fast response times are very very important
We want to have as little to do with platform maintenance as possible e.g. managing OS or SQL Server updates, etc.
We are trying to use "out-of-the-box" standard features.
With that said, which option would give us the best possible database performance: a SQL Server instance running in a VM on Azure or SQL Server Database as a fully managed service?
    Thanks, Sam

    hello,
SQL Database using shared resources on the Microsft data centre. Microsoft balance the resource usage of SQL Database so that no one application continuously dominates any resource. You can try the
    Premium Preview
for Windows Azure SQL Database which offers better performance by guaranteeing a fixed amount of dedicated resources for a database.
If you using SQL Server instance running in a VM, you control the operating system and database configuration. And the
performance of the database depends on many factors such as the size of a virtual machine, and the configuration of the data disks.

  • Which is better for bulk message scenario in sap xi RFC or Proxy

which is better for bulk message scenario in ( RFC or Proxy ) ?
Edited by: prabhatxi on Aug 6, 2010 4:44 PM

Proxy will alwaays be better option in this case, as it is adapter less framework, and communication happens directly with XI central integration engine. So it is always fast communication and gives good performance.
But still you should consider other factors, you may consider using RFC as well, as sometime we go for RFC/IDOC as this are the standard interfaces already available rather than creating structure...
May be you can share more info on what type/volume data are you planning to send via XI?
    Hope this cleart your doubt..

  • New Macbook Pro...Hard drive vs Flash...which is better?

I'm looking to upgrade my '07 iMac to a new Macbook Pro. I'm wondering whether to get the hard drive or flash drive....any suggestions as to which is better? Also, going with the Retina display I lose the DVD drive & would have to go with an external drive...is that display worth losing the drive??

    MarcusBenz wrote:
is that display worth losing the drive??
No. It's power hungry and it has issues.
I'm wondering whether to get the hard drive or flash drive....
Flash drive will give you less problems and is shock reistant, but the data you store on it can be accessed even if deleted.
There is a device from Cellibrite that can be used to gleam the password and retrieve all data of a flash based cell phone, iPad etc, even if deleted. So natually flash based computer will be added to the list and Apple is cooperating to do this at the request of the government for fast access/copying at Customs etc, regardless of Filevault.
So a traditional hard drive offers a chance to really delete data, provided the 7x erase (far right selection) is used.
It also seems Apple has removed the 0x and 7x descriptions from 10.7, 10.8 Disk Utility, just giving you secure and more secure options, not telling you the specifics because 7x is Department of Defense level erase, meaning special magnetic instruments can't be used to recover data off a 7x erased hard drive.
    going with the Retina display
Also you can't open it up, add RAM, remove/replace storage or fix it.
After three years when your AppleCare is up, you have to toss the Retina as nobody can repair it.
Unlike the 15" antiglare, it can go on a lot longer due to third party repair options, new drive, keyboard, more RAM, new fans etc.
Also the screen is viewable in nearly all conditions, unlike the Retina's glossy display.
