Which is better with games, the Pro or Air (both 13')?

I am debating whether or not to purchase an Air or Pro for myself in March. I will be using it for school, and will hopefully make it last all the way through college (8 years). I also will download music and movies, as well. On top of all that, I would like to play games on it, such as GTA and Minecraft. I won't play that often, maybe if I have spare time. I'm planning on getting one that has 256 GB with an Intel Core i7 Processor and 8GB RAM. Which one will perform better?

Macbooks are not idealized as gaming machines, rather productivity, however the the macbook pro quad core with autonomous graphics is the best choice for gaming.
Though the macbook Air is my favorite Mac and will plays games, I absolutely would not recommend same as a gaming machine.
The Pro without any question at all will perform better, and the top end Pro, logically, the best.

Which is better with a NAS: using Sharing or Library location?

So I've got my brand new NAS up and running (Netgear ReadyNAS 104).
It has a Music folder with an iTunes server so I can use it as a Shared Library.
But I can also point my iTunes to the NAS and use the library directly from the NAS.
So which is better? Using the NAS as a Shared Library or use the NAS as the primary Library?
I want multiple devices (primarily Apple devices, but perhaps also a Windows laptop) to be able to use the media.
What about library management? Like when ripping an audio CD. When I use the NAS as a shared library, do I need to manually copy the CD to the NAS iTunes share and have iTunes re-scan?

Well... I downloaded LibreOffice and Writer2ePub and openned my Atlantis doc in it and converted to epub file. The good news is it didn't cost a dime.
The bad news is one image is now tiny which is odd because it was 600 dpi so I would think it could be displayed larger, not smaller but maybe the epub conversion downsizes a higher res image (some are 300dpi).
The cover image shows up in iBook as a wide and short image. The cover itself is tiny and then it just fills in black for the rest of the screen width. I used a large, high res image.
Then there was something with the TOC. It created a good TOC but then there's another page with a none hypertext version and a big rectangle error message and the TOC only shows about half of the chapters.
There was some advice on the internet about centering images in iBook. It seems that iBook doesn't recognize text justification coded in a document. So you have to embed another element on the same line as the image (html stuff) and give it a center alignment tag. I haven't done any html ebook stuff so I may not be explaining that the best way possible.
So, I'm going to take another look at my iBook Author version and see if I can live with that. If not I'll probably try Pages although I don't know what other problems I'll run into. Fun, fun, fun

I'm thinking of buying a MacBook Air. But I want to know which of Pro or Air is good for programming iOS apps. Or maybe Games.

All current Mac, including the Air will run Xcode. The question is what else will you be running at the same time.
If money is an issue, buy a refurb'd Mac mini ($550.00), max the ram (16GB $150) and then get the largest LCD you can afford ($300 will go big). Should be USD$1000 or less by the time you get done and you won't have to work on a crowded screen.

Word processing for iOS is fantastic, but not as good for citations and things as on the macbook air, though footnotes will be preserved.
The new textbook options on ipad are compelling. You should find out if any of your school textbooks are on there by searching the itunes store. If so, ipad is your choice.
They are different categories of products. the macbook air is an excellent computer.
But I guess I feel this way -- why don't you buy a desktop for the home. and an ipad for school? If you feel you can get all of your notetaking, paper drafts etc. done on ipad, then you can use mountain lion (coming out this summer) to keep it all in sync when you go home.
I do have to warn you that I tried taking my ipad to work. If you use google docs at all, you may find some limitations sometimes. If you stick within the icloud universe, (pages, keynote, and numbers), you may be mostly happy.

The retina display MacBook Pros are very lightweight, so you won't really notice a weight difference between a 15" or 13" one. If you can afford it, get the 15" notebook.
Purchase the most powerful configuration you can afford. If you can afford it, get the larger SSD - but, you can always get a portable external hard drive that you can take with you if you find the internal drive is too small.

Which integrates better with macs, Curve 8900 or Bold?

I'm getting one or the other tomorrow..but I know from expereince working with a 3rd party application can be troubling on my MacBook. Does anyone have opionions on one over another? Will I be able to sync my contacts and check mac.com mail through Blackberry mail ok?
Just don't want to walk into this blind. I considered an iPhone biut they're so limited!

Which is better for writers, iPad or Macbook Air?

In the market for a portable writing product since my MacBook Pro is getting older and not that easy to carry around. Write in Word and have a blog to manage. Would an iPad work easily or should I choose MacBook Air? Esp. since I'll need to purchase a new MBP later.

Well, as for iOS 7... it does pretty much the same things as iOS 6 :-)
As for swipe-toggling screens for research, I wouldn't recommend it for the following reasons:
* first, every time you toggle screen you're dragging 4 fingers across the screen. Wow-factor in the Apple store, not so much as an every-day routine. Tip: you can do it via the keyboard (apparently.... I found a how-to but got tired of it halfway through and never resumed it... it's not as straightforward as it should be)
* second, you're toggling into a web browser that's far less capable than a standard one, hold less tabs in a convenient way. Sure, there's no hard limit, but after 4-5 tabs it gets messy. And you can't open another window of the same browser, so you're just stuck.
Just for comparison, as I write I have 16 tabs open just in one window of my browser. Of course, some of those tabs are used by mail and facebook, whereas the iPad has dedicated apps, but for the rest, as they say... there isn't an app for that, and I need all of those tabs.
And, big deal, god knows why the iPad can't hold still those tabs! I mean, if you let a tab sit still for 2 minutes (I haven't actually timed it, but it's short), that tab has to re-load when you open it! Not ideal when I just want to continue watching that page...

After charging my MBP's battery to 100%, which is better?
- keep the power adapter plugged in to the laptop and resume using until you want to turn off the laptop
OR
- because the battery is already at 100%, unplug the adapter and resume using until you feel like you should charge the laptop again (maybe around 80%-90%)

If you are convenient to an AC outlet it's fine to use the adapter. However, keeping the AC adapter connected will not have an adverse affect on the battery. Once the battery has been fully charged it will stop charging. Recharge will begin once the battery's charge drops below 95%. LIthium-Ion/Polymer batteries do not exhibit memory effects.
