Which is latest version of Audition: CS6 or CC?

What is difference between the two? A chat support person seemed to talk in circles stating that CC is latest version, replacing CS6 and with a subscription for cloud storage. But when I said I want latest version but do not want any monthly bills or subscriptions, s/he said the latest version still includes CS6 and CC if I don't have any subscription. Didn't seem to make any sense to me.

Yes, you will be buying "yesterday's" version if you get CS6. That's how Adobe wants you to perceive it.
CC is the next major version of Audition after CS6 but CC is only available via subscription.
It's your choice whether CS6 does everything you need it to or whether you need the new and exciting features offered in CC.

VC6. is rather old, but you can try to convert the VC6 project using the upgrade wizard of VC2012. Depending on the content of the project your code will work more or less without problems, at least it will compile without errors.
You could also go the 2nd way and create in VC2012 a project type using the wizard that is very similar to your current VC6 projcet (MDI, SDI, Dialog Based, ...). Than you replace the files generated by the wizard with the content of your project. Sometimes
this way is more successful.
But at all the automated converting success depends on the code of your VC6 project. I had both, conversions without big problems and also conversions that need a lot changes to run on a current VC version.

Disk Utility - Which is latest version?

I have found different versions of Disk Utility on my iMac, the latest of which I find is Version 11.1 (252.3).
Can anyone advise me please if this is the latest version? If it is not I will need to update DU and scrap all previous versions.
I'm running MacOS 10.5.3.

This is extremely unlikely since the specs for version 12 (or whatever the new version will be called) have not been finalized yet. After the specs have been finalized, the product will have to be developed and alpha/beta tested, all of which takes more than 6 months. The expectation is that the new version will be released sometime next year.

Video Editing feature in latest version of Photoshop CS6 does not exist/work. How do I fix this problem?

Hi everyone! I downloaded CS6 for a graphic design class that I was taking. I later found out that you could edit videos with the essentials portion of CS6 since it no longer has to be extended like in CS5. I went to import some videos from bridge and bridge would not allow me to do so. I also tried to open the files in Photoshop and I as I was looking at the type of files that I could open like quicktime files, wmv., mov., etc., I could not find anything relating to opening videos. The only thing that showed up were types of image files to open. Did I buy a faulty version of this program? Is there a way to get the video editing feature back on here or do I have to breakdown and buy Photoshop essentials separately?

Try dropping the video file on CS6 it should open. Maks sure CS6 is up to date. Version 13.0.6 Mac version 13.0.1.3 Windows Version 13.1.2 subscription. Also post you CS6 menu Help>System Info... Copy and paste here. You can see have the subscription version and use Windows 7....

Which is latest version of Safari for Tiger

I'm using 2.0.4. Is there another version I should be using? I went to this page http://www.apple.com/safari/ and clicked on "Free for Mac + PC.” Which lead me to this page http://www.apple.com/safari/download/ where I could download a new version of safari for a PC, but not for Mac? Is there a version later than 2.0.4 for OS 10.4.11 available?

Go to these 2 locations to see if you have any 3rd party extensions and move anything present in them onto your Desktop to deactivate them:
/Users/YourUsername/Library/InputManagers/

Restart Safari to pick up the change. If it works now, you can try moving the items back one by one until you find the culprit.

Hi I´m new here, I want to know what is the current version of audition CS6 ?

Version 5.0.2 Build 7 is the one I have. An update check shows it is the latest and, of course, there will never be any further updates since CC is the current model.

Just over a week ago I received an email from Adobe Systems containing a link to the Adobe Store. It
was for a downloadable complimentary upgrade to Audition CS6 from the boxed version of Audition CS5.5

I installed Audition CS6 on my desktop PC which is running Windows XP Professional SP3.
Since the installation, I've been struggling with a few issues that the program seems to have. I've
spent the last week trying to determine what factors in my computer setup could be causing the
problems. The issues I've been having might become the subject of other posts here on the forum, but
only when I've exhausted all the routes of enquiry that I can think of.
For now, it would be very helpful if at least a few people here could tell me the following about their
versions of Audition CS6:
The build number (as reported by Help / About Audition...);
Whether Audition CS6 was from an installation disc or download;
Whether it was an upgrade or a full version;
Whether it came as part of a suite, or was bought as an individual component.

My installation of CS6 shows the same build number as yours and mine was also obtained via Download, as an Upgrade, and an Individual Component.
So, in all respects mine is identical to yours, except I had to buy the upgrade from CS5.5 because I adopted that version quite soon after it was released.

I am still using AVS Audio Edit to get rid of some clicks like I was a "sound engineer" from 18th century...
Selecting the intire click wave cicle and using the low pass filter to get the hi freq of the click away...

I just uninstalled it and am waiting for it to reinstall. I sincerely hope that I have not lost everything that I worked on so hard. Now that mobile me is gone, I have not been able to go between devices to transfer things. I was merely trying to take a document I had worked on and open it in pages, but it said my version was too old. When I updated, it wouldn't load. Now I cannot do anything. I hope that the reinstall fixes it without losing everything. Please advise!!! Yes, I am in panic mode.

If you have an iBook G4, (PPC) you can't do much.
But if that is a MacBook (intel) you may be able to
upgrade the OS X, if the hardware is up to it...

Upgrading from iPhoto 8 to iPhoto 9 requires a purchase. There are two ways to get to iPhoto 9:
1 - purchase a copy of the iLife 11 disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com or eBay.com.
2 - if your MBP meets the requirements upgrade you system for free to Mavericks. Then you can purchase the latest iPhoto version, 9.5.1, from the App Store.
