Which is the application help-files folder?

In which folder (full path) are (the various) application help-files -- those that are used by HelpViewer -- stored?

Most probably store them right in the application bundle. After all, this is what makes drag-n-drop installation possible. Applications do not need to have files all over the computer.

Hi Vivek,
I hope this is the problem with permission.you Don't have Admin permission to access those folder.
my Suggestion is
1.use Administrator account(on windows) for develop applications(its give full access to the folder from your system). or
2 open your JDeveloper as Administrator. (just right click on JDeveloper from you shortcuts or from programs run as Administrator)

How to give the application server file path in the module pool programming

     Could somebody help me how to provide the application server file path in module pool programming once the logo is uploaded to sap system.
For eg I have imported a logo name owens into sap system by using transaction se78; now I need to call the path in the below url,

I know this doesn't help you Bud, but I've had this issue for at least the last couple of versions. If I can ask, what is you enviornment like? Local PC only, libray saved on another PC/Server?
In my case my library is on Windows 2003 server with the share mapped to drive M: This has worked for many years through both XP and Windows 7 until and update a while ago.

Can I unzip the .ipa file and edit the application.xml file

I want to modify the below info to also have an additional string value of 2, which somewhere along the line tells something somewhere that the app can run on the ipad. Is there some info in the compiled application that will error out if I modify this document?

you can change the file extension to zip, unzip it, find the application.xml file in one of the subdirectories, edit it, rezip the files, change the file extension to ipa and install.

When creating PDF I get message "This file was saved to the Temporary Internet Files Folder"

about 80% of the time when I am creating a PDF Document using the Print to Adobe function I get the following message:
"For your computers security, this file was saved to the Temporary Internet Files folder"
"Do you want to open this folder?"
It doesn't matter if I say yes I want to open the folder or not I can never locate the file.
I am using Vista Ultimate 32. for an operating system.

You can get the same results (as turning protected mode off) by:
(presuming you have an icon for Internet Explorer on your desktop or taskbar) -- right click the icon and pick "Run as administrator"
I've got the same problem printing to pdf (Acrobat v8; problem's only in IE7) on a Dell Optiplex/Vista Business desktop machine (though not my T61/Vista Ultimate Thinkpad laptop) and the above resolves the issue for my desktop machine. You must be using the same Apple ID in iTunes on your Mac that your son is using on the Mini or the movie will not transfer.

Error while opening the application help

We are trying to open the application help from the R/3. It is giving
us the follwoing error.
This is linked to the knowledge warehouse server 6.20.

if you have more than one application server running in your BI system (see at transaction SM51) be aware that your infopackage will be executed on the right one. Each application server has its own file system and your job need to run on the server your file is stored on.
Also check if the os user of the SAP system itself (<sid>adm on Unix) has rights to read that file.

Copy paste in the application(from file to database)

Is it possible to provide a 'copy-paste' functionality in end-user app? I know there is such feature in SQL Workshop but I would like to prepare an application which enables users to copy data from fxls/csv file and the paste it into the application. The data should be saved then in the relevant table in database.

Are you talking about importing data into an existing table where the column data type
needs to match the column data type in your table? Preferably a comma or semicolon
separated or tab delimited data.
If this is so, then there is a simple way to acomplish this using external tables as an
interface. There you need access to your underlying file system. You could do this in
the following way:
1. Create a text area and paste some data in it,
2. Copy that data into a BFILE on your file system,
3. Create an external table which will read the created file
4. Query your external table, validate the data and transfer it into your target table.
This is, of course a simple way - you know the structure of your data in advance.
You could also do it the way ApEx does it - providing an interface for more then one
case and letting user create their own tables, load from file, load from xml file, etc.
However, this would require much more time to make it working.
Unfortunatelly, there is no access to file system on htmldb.oracle.com for me to
show you how this could be done. I have a description on how to handle this problem

Forgive me if this is remarkably simple answer.
Id like to be able to read LabVIEW help file on my LapTOP which has no LV installed.

I will work on that.
What I really was after was the DAQmx VI help. That gets installed when DAQmx is installed. I have the VIs (copied from a Windows instrallation). They do not work of course because the core .dll is missing. But that process does not get the help files.
I did search and found that there are programs available on the Mac which can process .chm files. I installed two and then downloaded the file you linked. That has the LV help. After some searching in the NI documents pages I found the DAQmx help and the DAQmx VIs help .chm files. Some links tend not to work, but this has given me access to the stuff I wanted.
For any other crazy Mac users who want to read help files on VIs you cannot run, I have tried CHM Reader, available through the Apple App Store, and iChm, which I found at https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/28171/ichm . CHM Reader seems to be a bit more robust with the NI files.

Deploying junitee outside of the application ear file

I have an application that is deployed within an ear file, and I have junitee tests
within a war file, called test.war. I would like to not have to place the test.war
within the ear file because the ear may be release code but I still want to test
it using the junitee tests. Instead I would like to optionally add the test.war
to the application context and not the ear file. How would I go about doing that?
I tried to deploy the test.war from the weblogic console, and hand editing the
config.xml, and adding the test.war as a module to the application.xml (within
the ear file).
In all cases when I try to then use classes within the ear file I get ClassNotFoundExceptions.
Probably because Weblogic is not including the test.war as part of the same application.

I'd probably have 2 build targets, debug and production. Your debug
target could include the unit test war file.
