Which is the limit?
Finally I have got my two kingston HyperX modules.
Till now I 'm only able to post only with slow in performance mode.
The turbo mode don't let me choose 3 cas latency so that's the problem.
Anyway I still satisfied of my system becouse now I can post and make a sandra cpu benchmark even at 240 MHZ.
The 9500 seems now able to make a complete aquamark test at 225mhz so I'm starting to think that now the problem is not the video board ( that was my idea in a previus post ) but the cpu overheating.
I'm using the stock cooler but is on the way a thermalright sp94 so I'll post when I'll do a test with this beast installed.
Do you think I am right?
I have read some posts in which people with HyperX ram are able to set turbo mode,
What can I do?
At post system says " double channel. liner mode."
What is this liner mode and are there other modes?
One last question:
With 1 ddr400 module my chipset vent make some cool sequences with its leds.
Now,with the 2 hyperx modules installed, the chipset vent does not light the leds anymore.Why?
Is it related with bios settings ( slow performance mode)?
How I can make it light the leds again?

it is near 45°C when I had the hangup in aquamark at 233 Fsb.
I have now tried at 230 fsb and it is perfectly stable.
Probably I need a little more cpu overvolt to reach higher fsb.Now I at 1.5625V cpu voltage.I will raise when I'll install the new cpu cooler(SP94!!!).
I have seen you have the thermaltake SP94.Is this cooler really great?

Which is the pratical limit on how many rows compose a report ?
Hi guys,
I've a report which could contain a very big number of rows (probably 500k).
When I work with "normal" number (10 - 20000) it works correctly (of course it's not very fast in the last case :-) but when the number of rows goes more up (200k/500k) the report never compair!
Which components are "stressed" during this operation?
Can I tune something?
So, I know that there's not a limit theorically but which is the pratical limit (if there's it)?

All the rows of a report will be fetched, up to the maximum number you specify.
In my opinion, there is no logical reason to provide pagination controls for 200K rows, or even 10K rows. The typical end user is never going to want to flip through that many results - they'll refine their query.
I say - use common sense and give an upper bound as low as possible. You should not use the pagination controls to determine the total row count - that is extraordinarily inefficient.

My old PC with my Itunes library died. I have attempted to authorize it's replacement but the store tells me I have reached my limit of five. I don't recall doing this so my guess is that and old dead Ipod as well as old dead PC's could be deauthorized ONLY and I would be good. As I read the Itunes store options it appears I can only deauthorize all five. I am afraid I will loose all my library; I'm not shure I have an up to date backup with Itunes I am reluctant to take that step.
I can take the hard drive out of the dead computer and fix so that I can restore from an up to date library. I have never done this before and am scared I might erase my best option. I also have a major portion of my library on a NANO which replaced the dead IPOD which maybe can be used to restore the replacement PC.
I don't recall setting up Icloud and vaguely recall backing up to itunes but can't confirm that my library is completely backed up. Itunes tells me that my Ipad and a PC are authorized for Icloud but I don't recall setting that up. I can assume that the PC that is Icloud authorized is the one that died. If I have to deauthorize all, will I errase my library? If not will I have to restore my nano and Ipad and the replacement PC? How can I confirm that my library is backed up/in the cloud?
My Ipad shows cloud icons along whith what appears to be my library.
Given this info, what is my best option to restore my complete former Itunes library to my PC.

The Touch Copy third party software for PC's is the way to go it seems and although the demo is free, if you have over 100 songs then it costs £15 to buy the software which seems not a lot to pay for peace of mind. and restoring your iTunes library back to how it was.

I have a PowerBook G4 with a non-functioning monitor. It used to work with an external monitor, but I reinstalled the OS, which cleared the display preferences and now when I restart it won't detect the external monitor. This means I can't use the computer anymore. How do I fix? I tried using the Command+F2 keyboard shortcut, but it doesnt' work. It's possible that since I reinstalled the OS, it still needs to be set up, so there's only a welcome screen (but since I can't see it I'm not sure).

Hi All,
I am having a limit of computed item on result section which is reset with code to make this limit Ignore = "True" or "False". Report is saved as no data for result section. Now whenever i open up the report i am getting an internal error for not able to reset the limit of computed item as no data is there on result section.
When i am saving the report section with data it is working fine.
Can anyone please suggest how to handle the limit of computed item on result section when there is no data available on result section?

Which is the better iTouch size?
New here and I'm trying to decide which iTouch to buy my wife. I have been going back in forth between the 32GB http://amzn.to/wgM5BX and the 64GB http://amzn.to/zzTs2U
She listens to books and music and I image will get into a few games and apps. She will also probably want to have some pictures of our kids on there too. I usually thought you should buy the bigger size to future proof the purchase, but now I hear you can stream your music and other stuff, so maybe the hard disk size isn't as relevant. Can anyone give me some feedback on what size to get a medium user of an itouch? Am I making a mistake and should I be looking at the 8GB?Personally I think that 6gb is too small even for a medium user which is the available memory for the 8gb ipod touch. When it comes to memory the bigger the better, lol. I would suggest the 32gb model. 6 gigs won't be enough for music, games and apps. Think also about her music collection, 1,000 songs at 128kbps take about 3-4 gigs of memory and the majority of games use about 100mb of memory. If you are planning on streaming the content then you can get the 8gb version but then that will limit the music playing to just your home or if you go to someone's home you will only have access to their music library.

How can I increase the limit of iTunes Genius Mixes?
How come my macbook is limited to 6 Genius Mixes, while I've seen screenshots of people having about 12 mixes available? is there anything I can do to increase the limit?
Twelve is normal. You might try turning Genius off and back on to refresh it and see if it will then give you more. If you have content only from a very few genres, though, it's possible it can't find enough variety to generate more than six. Or if you have a lot of unusual tracks, particularly ones not sold in the iTunes Store, there may not be Genius data available on which iTunes can base a mix.

My core.log file keeps showing these errors everytime I start to stream. My streams are not viewable on PC's and only viewable on iOS devices.

DaveThere is a concept of Absolute Time Code which enables the encoders to publish the livestream based on absolute system time rather than starting the messages from timestamp 0 everytime you append to a recording.
I suspect you encoder is starting everytime from 0 timestamp but since the server already has recording till some time - say x, for the server these are backward timestamps and hence the continous warnings.
Also to safeguard FMS against such conditions and cause memory crashes, we only allow messages with backward timestamps to accumulate in the process queue upto a limit and then the recording is stopped. Thats why you are observing the errors -

Is the spacelimit of 4 GB a hard limit or a soft limit? In 4GB limitation questions tkyte wrote, that it is a soft limit. So what can I do to be informed when my limit is reached. Should I check the Database every day?
In case of the limit is reached: Can I then go to your shop, buy, for example a one year license for the "Oracle Database 10g standard edition one" and install this OVER the Express Edition? Will it be such simple?

As Tom has shown, the 4 Gb space limit is a hard limit. We will consider adding a 'space left' indicator to the home page. You can also check via the command line running a query.
Upgrade, for awhile, will consist of installing one of the licensed editions, and then running exp/imp to migrate the data/applications. We will provide documentation on how to do this by the production release of XE.
At some stage in the future, when you install one of the licensed editions, it will detect that you have XE installed, and then offer to upgrade it for you via the Database Upgrade Utility. -
Traffic shaping: Which is the best solution?
Hi! I'm running 3 computers on 1 d-link router, 2 of them has an archlinux installed. Wondershaper mostly works for me when the other computers has cfosspeed running on windows, but when both computers run archlinux and wshaper and p2p applications, ping is over 1000ms instead of 10-20ms.
Which is the best solution of traffic shaping on linux, and is there a howto for them (can be even a gentoo wiki page or similar)?
Edit: shorewall is not being built from yaourt (x86_64), can't find a usable manual for trickle and niceshaper, (even ubuntu forums has unreplied "threads" about it) and can't start them coz missing config files, it seems, noone cares about ACK priority and ping in the Linux world

For my target, I need to show more than 200 K rows in client web browser, using AdvancedDataGrid.
And that may needs more than 200M to cache the data in Web browser memory space.
So, my questions are:
Does there any memory usage limit in flash player?
Say, if we have 4G bytes of physical memory in machine, in Windows, how much can I use in flash player?
Also, if we have 4G bytes of physical memory in Linux, how much can I use in flash player?
Does it depends on the Web Browser?
Say, is there any difference between different web browsers?
If the limit exists, can we control the limit?
Say, can we define some parameters in the tag in web page to expand the limitation?

It will publish html and js files that will provide the animation instead of the swf that you would normally publish. The success or failure of the resulting javascript version of your animation is the result of working within the constraints of the toolkit. You are pretty much constrained to using the timeline in Flash for your animations. If you work only in Actionscript, then the output will be very disappointing.
2. Edge outputs javascript, css, and html to give you an animation. The user interface allows you to design within the constraints of what Edge can do. You can preview and adjust and tweek your animation as you work. Edge is an html5 tool. It can create html5 animation. It is not a replacement for Flash. It is something that you can use instead of Flash to embed animation in html.
The problems and benefits of each are unique. Neither is a good substitute to learning javascript, css and html5. If you don't understand the code that is created from each of these tools, you can easily end up with huge, bloated, files that perform poorly. I'm very biased toward actually knowing what is going on. If I need to edit something, I want to be able to go into the code and make a change, not add an additional chunk of code to work around what was there. I don't use the timeline at all, and so nothing that I have will publish using CreateJS. Well, it will publish, but nothing happens because there is nothing on the timeline to translate.
