Which is the Simplest E-Business Suite.

Hi All,
I was going through the E-Business suite 12, There are so many components. I just wanted to know which is the simplest E-Business Component in the suite that can be easily installed and configured.
With installation guide or admin guide if any.

to download. Is it mandatory to download entire suite
or can it be done downloading & installing the

I want implement Single Sign-On support for the Oracle E-Business suite.
Operationg System : linux/Solaris
Oracle E-Business suite : 11.5.10
Oracle Application Server : 10gAS(latest availble)
Type of integration : SSO and OID with 11i
No third party SSO or LDAP
Qusetions
1.If my SSO Server is down can i login to applications(11i) using normal mode(default login http://servername.xxxx.com:8000/).
2. Is it possible to have appilications (11i) in Linux/Solaris and 10gAS in windows.
Please answer...

I have noticed that when the main page opens in the EBS after login, the links that we see has a small square icon infront of it.
Can anyone let me know whats the name of this image and how to put it infront of the links on my main page.

I have just found out that in the E-business suite, when you click a link with the icon as fwkhp_formsfunc.gif then it opens up Oracle Forms based interfaces, whereas when you click on a link with fwkhp_sswafunc.gif as an icon, then OAF based pages opens up.
Just thought of sharing with you.

Oracle E-Business Suite account has not been linked with the Single Sign-On

We followed this note 1484024.1 to integrate Oracle EBS 12.1.3 with Oracle Access manager 11g R2.
Integrating Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with Oracle Access Manager 11gR2 (11.1.2) using Oracle E-Business Suite Access Gate [ID 1484024.1]
All the steps have been complete successfully without any errors.
When the excisistign users trying to login.. they will get the single single OAM page but not able to use their current user id and passwords..
it says: "Your Oracle E-Business Suite account has not been linked with the Single Sign-On account that you just entered. Please enter your Oracle E-Business Suite information. The next time you sign on with your Single Sign-On account, it will automatically sign you on to the Oracle E-Business Suite using the following account information. "

When it asks the user information here, enter the EBS username and password.
The first time users login to ebs, it needs to link that particular usre with a particular.

Oracle E-Business Suite integration is failing with OSSO

We are integration EBS 12.1.1 with OSSO 10g (OID 10.1.4.3) using txkrun.pl script. This is a production environment and has 2 nodes of OID and 2 nodes of Database in RAC mode. When we run the txkrun.pl script we are getting the below error:

If you are running Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.1 and integrating with OID 11g, you will also need to download and install TXK patch 7651166, which provides several fixes to Applications Technology code, including an update to the Oracle E-Business Suite OID registration scripts that adds support for OID 11g. The patch should be applied to all Oracle E-Business Suite middle tier nodes. This patch is not required if you are integrating with any other version of Oracle E-Business Suite.

Problem in e business suite

I am installing E business suite12.1 that is downloaded from the oracle e-delivery. Some important things for my ebs installation -
1. OS-microsoft window server 2003 enterprise edition service pack-2 , 32bit
2. Supporting softwares - CYGWIN(because MKS is not free), Visual Studio 98
3. I have copied the path of cygwin/bin in system's environment variable so that make and which command can run also copied in the window/system32 folder
4. I have set the path of visual studio also in the system's environment variable.
5. I am using the system name as the host name and dont have any domain name as we dont have the domain here.
I have 2 errors shown on the last window that is validate system configuration -

What is the stage i dont know ?Stage is your file which you download from e-delivery, you need to create one folder which is commonly named Stage folder
do i need to download other things also from edelivery like oracle release data base rapid installation, others also.You need to download all related files from e-delivery.

Oracle 10G application server integrate with e-business suites 11i

Hello,
Server A:
i have one UAT server which is installed with e-business suites 11i. The users logon to discoverer from e-business suites using the username and password stored in e-business suites.
Server B:
then, i now hv to set up a 10G application server and 10G discoverer on a new server. The user request that they want to login to discoverer using the username and password as mentioned above. They reject to logon to database using 'connect directly', 'open connection' or 'private connection'.
what can i do in order to synchronize the username from Server A to Server B so that they can logon using the username and password they created in e-business suites.

How to Display Data from Oracle E Business Suite tables in ADF

Hi,
I am new to ADF.
I have a requirement to Create an ADF page for Search Results Screen.
However the result data is from one of the Oracle E Business Suite Tables.
ie I need to create a Screen where user will enter a Purchase Order Number and Click on Button.
The Screen should show details from PO_HEADERS_ALL (from Oracle ERP Database Table) based on the entered PO Number.
Is it possible to implement the same? Can some one guide me how to do it?

Mkstoolkit e-business suite 11i

HI We are running windows 2003 with mkstoolkit currently installed.
We need to deinstall and reinstall mkstoolkit. My question is will this impact the functioning of the running application?
My understanding is that we need mkstoolkit for make and which commands which are used for cloning and maintenance etc, so the running e-business suite will not be affected during the de-install and re-install? is this correct or do we need to shutdown the application during the reinstall of mkstoolkit?

It will not affect the running application.
Just make sure that you install it in the same location as before or you will need to adjust the path env. variables.
