Which kind of information are necessary when buying AppleCare+ in an Apple Store? Just Apple ID?

A friend pf mine is going to buy an iPhone 5S for me in an Apple Store in Miami. If I want to purchase also AppleCare+ which kind of information do I have to give him? Is Apple ID enough?

Whether it's the plus version or regular version, they're both called AppleCare. The only difference between Regular & Plus is the damage protection. You're graspng at straws, wjosten. If I say that I filled up my car with gas, are you going to nitpick about whether it was Regular, Plus or Premium?

You are in error, wjosten. I know you HATE when that happens, but this is one of those RARE cases where you are wrong. Just like the 'passcode lockout' from the other day. What jars are necessary when building an Executable for JAXB??

I'm using JWSDP-1.2. I get the following error when I try to run my executable: DefaultValidationEventHandler: [FATAL_ERROR] Document root element is missing. I was curious which jars are necessary when making an executable for JAXB. So far I have: 1)dom.jar, 2) jaxb-api.jar, 3) jaxb-impl.jar, 4)jaxb-libs.jar, 5)jaxb-xjc.jar, 6)jax-qname.jar, 7)namespace.jar, 8)relaxngDatatype.jar, 9)sax.jar, 10)xalan.jar, 11)xercesImpl.jar, 12)xsdlib.jar . Are there any jars I'm missing? I thought I might be getting the error due to a missing class. I've made sure that the XML document is readable and that it exists. The application runs fine in Eclipse, but when I make an executable I get the ERROR message.

I'll have to read up on the doctype stuff, but I don't have anything like that included. Is it necessary? I read from the same XML document when I run inside Eclipse and also read the same document when I run the jar.

Hello together,
I have installed a BO 4.0 enterprise server. Now I want import the roles for the sap authentication.
I can see round about 100 roles, but that are not all roles which are available in the source system.
My question is which kind of roles are visible?

my crystal user has SAP_ALL rights (only for testing), if I understood you correctly now I should see all existing roles in the SAP also in the CMC for roleimport.
Is this correct? Because I see also only 100 roles, but in the SAP are more than 1000 roles.

I changed my apple id password and the apple id is still fine, but itunes has it disabled. I verified that the computer is authorized for this apple id. What to do now?

Apple Store Vs Apple online store, where to buy?

Just wondering how everyone's purchace went. Not sure if I should go to the local apple store or just customize it online. I read somplace that if you order one online they don't ship it within another box and what you get is a banged up box. On the other hand I have purchased an ipod that did not make the click sound and when I bought it back I was forced to pay a restocking fee even though the product was defective. Just want some input before I plunk down $3k.

You should never have to pay restocking fee for defective products.
My guess is go to your local Apple store first. See if you can buy one there. Unless there's a customized spec that you actually NEED. I'm not talking about RAM or hard drive, you can install that yourself and its cheaper. I'm talking about the WiFi or the video card. Apple store cannot install WiFi onto it, the video card can be upgraded but you would have to pay for the stock and then pay for the full price of the card you want.

The Apple Store app is an iPhone only app. iPhone apps are still allowed to run on iPads, but since there is not a native iPad version, that is probably why it does not support rotation.

I was told at the Apple store that Apple was now offering Pages, numbers and keynote free with the Mavericks download. I noticed that I got the free when I downloaded the newest operating system on my iPad. True? And if so, how do you do it?

It's not correct at all. It is true that Apple is offering Numbers, Keynote and Pages for free, but only for users who have purchased a Mac after October 1st, 2013, and for existing iWork '09 users. If you have not got iWork '09 and you purchased your Mac before October 1st, you need to pay for these apps.
The new iWork version (Numbers, Keynote and Pages) is criticised by its lack of features. Instead, I recommend you to get LibreOffice or, if you need the most complete productivity suite, Office for Mac. Give LibreOffice a try first

CC and CC 2014 have really been irritating in just the fact that they exist. The individual application discussion boards (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) are filled with questions about "Creative Cloud" issues more than they are about the applications themselves. This is concerning.
Anyway, I too have had my share of chat and phone support time with Raj, Saanjh, Kumar, Nishanka, Maadhav, Amal, and the rest of the crew and I don't want anymore. Didn't care for it.
I am about to re-install CC 2014 on a newly formatted Mac and I'd like to just be able to install my software and simply get on with life. And work.
So here is my question:
I remember one time all my errors were supposedly caused by -- and yes, I'm serious about this one -- my language selection. I was foolish enough to have chosen the "English (North American)" option. Yes, I'm in Texas but even though I looked there was not an "English (Texan)" option so I went with the next logical choice. Wow, did't see that one coming.
To the point -- SHOULD I CHOSE THE "ENGLISH (INTERNATIONAL)" OPTION THIS TIME?
And more important, if yes, then WHY IS THERE AN "ENGLISH (NORTH AMERICAN)" OPTION TO BEGIN WITH? I can't see any Photoshop needing to be concerned with what I call a cookie, my British colleagues know as a biscuit. Does Illustrator really need a root level preference to determine between a "truck" or a "lorry". Has Dreamweaver become such a finely tuned program that it must know wether I left my things in the car's "trunk" or "boot"?
On a serious note, this is madness. Adobe - stop it already.

HT1918 I am just trying to download apps, but it takes me to the edit my information page and when i try to change it it just says please contact itunes support

The 1G iPod can only go as high as 3.1.3. The 1G does not have an internal speaker or volume buttons on the upper left edge.
