Which Logic Boards will work in a 1.25Ghz eMac?

I have a emac that has a possible bad logic board, it wont fully install OSX. I have tried several different versions with formating the drive everytime clean. I am just looking for a logic board now to replace out. I have seen some 1Ghz boards and wonder if that would fit in my 1.25Ghz machine.

The 1GHz board will install in your 1.25MHz machine. The main difference you will find is that you lose USB 2.0 because the 1GHz board has only USB 1.1. The other difference is that the 1GHz board uses 168 pin PC133 ram and not the PC2700 DDR 333MHz 184 pin ram.But apart from the obvious loss of processor speed everything else will work.

The 5,1 Aluminum Unibody was an oddball in the MacBook series. It doesn't fit in with the rest of the White and Black MacBooks or the 13" MacBook Pros. The 2.4Ghz 5,1 Aluminum Unibody Logic board would fit though.

Pretty much any of the SATA 3.0 Gbps drives.
Western Digital Black and Blue and Hitachi 7K drives are all good choices.
If you try a SATA 6.0 Gbps drive, it will need to be jumped to limit to SATA 3.0 Gbps.

That FAQ is merely the adobe official line. If you have a full version of PSE 6 for mac, it should work in 10.9, really.

I've just received my 430EX II that I purchased for use with my Rebel T2i. The main reason I purchased the Canon product was....in 60 years of using Canon products I've never had a failure or a bad experience. I've been using the 430EX ll for a few days and I'm quite happy with the results. Far, far better than the built in flash. It's on sale now with free Fed X shipping. That's hard to beat.

I'm new to these forums and am wanting to get a webcam, but iSights are no longer available and I don't have the interest or money to get a DV Camcorder.
So which USB webcams will work with iChat?
I take it I'll also have to purchase iChatUSBcam or whatever it's called.

UJ825C should be the number of the DVD drive. If you click the blue apple and about this mac, that will tell you what the processor speed is. If it's a 1.67Ghz system, click more info, and memory, and if it says DDR2 memory (versus DDR) then you have the last model of the Powerbook, sometimes referred to as high res or high resolution for it's video (and the other 1.67Ghz system, with DDR memory are sometimes referred to as low resolution). Some boards may have a choice of 64MB or 128MB of video memory.
There are several vendors that sell used logic boards, two of which are http://www.ifixit.com and http://www.pbparts.com .

An unlocked iPhone should do the trick. You need to get it in an Apple Store. I have traveled around the world with my British unlocked Iphone and I've had no problems switching between sims.

There will be full support for the G1X.2 in ACR 8.5, or so says the release notes for the ACR 8.5 release candidate at Adobe Labs; however, PSE11 stopped being updated last fall when PSE12 came out. It remains to be seen whether PSE12 will get the ACR 8.5 update sometime in June or July, or if you’d have to wait until PSE13 comes out in Sept/Oct.
The alternative is to use the free DNG Converter 8.5 to convert your raw files to DNG format, which will work in the older ACR plug-in in PSE11.
The DNG Converter 8.5 will eventually be available here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates however for now you can use the release candidate available, here: http://labs.adobe.com

Which logic board did i get?

Well, i caused the damage nobody wants to cause with their Macbook Pro. a usb mouse connector cracked the logic board! I was told by the service shop to make sure to get the model 661-4956 and not the older version 661-4341. I just got it but when i look up some of the numbers on the board, i only find hits for the 4341 board. So the question is, how can I tell the difference?
The only real helpful number i an see is the number 820-2101-A. That is the number that i get hits back for the 661-4341 board. I can't seem to find any good pictures of either board to really find out for sure.
The only other numbers i see are on a bar code on the RAM connector. If any of those numbers would help, i can add them also.
But if there is anyone out there who knows how to tell these apart or what the difference is, i'd greatly appreciate it! Should i even be worried about it?

Which Video Card will Work out of Box with P7-1240 Desktop with Win 7-64bit & AMD A10-5700 CPU?

I'm new here and have already searched for solutions. I have P7-1240 Desktop purchased new in June 2012 with Jasmine MSI-MS-7778 motherboard, AMD A10-5700 quad core, 10 MB ram and Windows 7 64-bit. I'm trying to install a graphics board so my son can play some games that he currently must play on low resolution using the integrated graphics.
I updated my PSU to 600 watt Corsair and tried GTX 750 Ti and GTX-660 cards to no avail (the computer won't boot past HP splash screen). I've also tried AMD Radeon R7-265 card but couldn't even boot to the HP splash screen. As I understand, HP offers no BIOS updates for Windows 7 (I read here that one guy loaded a BIOS update for Windows 8 on his Windows 7 machine and it worked, but I am too chicken to try that).
I just want to put this issue to rest. So my question is simply this: Does anybody know of ANY graphics card series that will definitely work OUT-OF-THE-BOX in my machine with the stock BIOS and PCI-Exp 16 Gen 2 slot? I was going to try a GTX 500-series card next. But I wanted to get some advice first, since I won't be able to return it if it doesn't work.

Graphics card compatibility with the BIOS levels in PCs is not the only factor. PCI-E slot version compatibility both upwards and downwards would be another factor. Manufacturers will at times view standards differently and hence design their graphics cards to function differently compared to the same card being made by a different manufacturer. Manufacturers may also design graphics cards to only work with their motherboards. Bottom line is that not every graphics card will work in every PC.

[p7-1240] How can I tell which graphics cards will work with my motherboard?

I recently went through the nightmare of trying to install a Gigabyte GTX 650 in my PC. After a few days of struggling and scouring the internet for answers, I discovered that it is incompatible with the BIOS on my motherboard, and HP does not offer BIOS updates. I returned the card and am now looking for a new one, but I am unsure of which cards will work now, since my computer met all of the system requirements for the graphics card, and It stil ldid not work. Since GPU manufacturers do not list BIOS specs under system requirements, how can I tell if a graphics card will work with my sytem?
My computer is a p7-1240 with an upgraded 520W PSU and approximeately 11" of room to install the card.

The problem is, many of the newer video cards require the computer to have a full UEFI BIOS. HP began using one in mid-October, 2012. Before this date the BIOS is Legacy. This is why the video card didn't work with your computer.
I don't know what you want to spend for a card, but MSI makes a GTX 750ti that has a hybrid VBIOS. It has a switch to change to Legacy or UEFI. There is a video link directly below the picture of a card. Paul from Newegg gives a full description of the card.
I like EVGA cards the best. Their Tech Support has given me a lot of information about their cards. However, you have to go back to a GT 640 card to find one of their cards that doesn't require the UEFI BIOS. They do have some updates for their BIOS'es that solve the problem, but you have to call them for the exact cards.

Which cd rom will work

I am looking for a used cd rom from ebay and was wandering how do I know which ones will work with my imac 400 ? I have looked at several of the slot loaders and they are from slot loading G3 imacs but will they work with any slot loading imac? here is the description " Slot Loading CDRW Drive CW-7121-B".

This is offered on the rather limited experience of having replaced two of them in 350 and 400 slot loading iMacs. It seems that anything that is a slot loading optical drive will work. If there is a choice of jumpering, set it to "Slave".

I have to get a new logic board, will this effect the memory on my 4s?

My iPhone came back with major problems when I let someone borrow it. I went and had it looked at by a genius at the apple store, and he said the logic board was messed up or something and it was probably put through the washer. I forgot to ask a lot of questions. If I get this 'logicboard' or whatever replaced will my memory on the iPhone still be the same? Like, will all of my contacts and apps be there like before? I had very important documents on there and I had no backup. I also want to know if the apple store can do this for me. Thanks in advance.
