Which mobile phone`s support javaFX ?

Hi
i`m a mobile application developer , i`m Interested about javaFX i want to know which mobile phone models support javaFX ? i cant`t get any information about this in nokia , sony ericsson and ... web site`s and documents
thanks

To my knowledge, only Windows Mobile 6+ are currently supported... :-(
Moreover, currently, JavaFX 1.3 for mobiles isn't release, yet.
Look at the [Get page from JavaFX.com|http://javafx.com/downloads/all.jsp], there are release notes and installation instructions for mobiles.

  • Which mobile phones do actually support JavaFX?

    Hello,
im very interested in javafx for desktop application development. Since i can deploy my applications for mobile devices aswell, i would like to try that. Recently (yesterday) i bought a new mobile phone, a Nokia E71. I admit that i have absolutley no idea of mobile phone technology.
Which mobile phones are able to run javafx applications?
I read some articles, they said phones need to support the Mobile Service Architecture Specification (MSA) and need to meet the requirements of JSR 248 (i hope that is correct).
My phone supports Java MIDP 2.0, im not sure what this actually means and if JavaFX will work on it. There are so many informations that i lost the track a bit.
I would appreciate it if somebody could explain it to me.
    Best regards,
    Maximilian

    Hi Terrence,
i just tried to install the LocalSearch application, sadly it doesnt work. The installation process aborts with the following message:
    *"Application not compatible with phone!"*
I dont see any other ways to make it run. Wondering if there are any hacks, like upgrading to feature pack2?
Anyway i can still choose a different phone, any recommendations where JavaFX will definatley work? (should be equal or better than E71 features)
    Best regards,
    Maximilian
EDIT: it would be nice if somebody could try the LocalSearch demo on a S60 3rd edition, feature pack 2 or higher, or any full MSA compliant phone. And does it work with Windows Mobile 6.1 phones?

  • Phones that supports javafx

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me some phones that supports javafx. I want to test my application on a real device. I read about HTC Touch Diamont, but I am interesed if there are any other devices that supports javafx.
    Thanks.

Currently the javafx is not so much stable so that mobile companies would keep it. I think the javafx 2.0 may be sign of good stability of javafx.
    Thanks.

Some phones that can't sync natively with OS X might be able to with software such as "The Missing Sync": http://www.markspace.com/ .

  • Which mobile phones?

Can someone be a bit more specific please about which mobile phone models will view BT Sport?
The web site says Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and IOS 5.1.1 but on the list of T-Mobile models whether a phone has this or not is not mentioned. (I am entitled to a new/discounted phone as a loyalty bonus and want to make sure I get the right one!).
A I said, specific phone types please. Advice is appreciated.

  • Which mobile USB modem supports ULM290

Just upgraded to the Pantech ULM290 and went out and bought the Cradlepoint MBR900 USB mobile modem. Problem is the MBR900 does not support the new ULM290. Does anybody know which USB modem/ wireless router supports the ULM290.
    Thanks in advance.

I am using the Cradle Point   MBR1000 and used it previously with the USB760 Modem
I only have EVDO or 3G available.  I am in a remote area in the fringe of 4G.   I have an external antenna mounted 50' up on a tower pointed to closest tower.  I have 85% signal level and it is still slow.
I have upgraded the firmware on the Router and the firmware on the modem.
The modem keeps dropping the connection.  It takes forever to get connected and then will just drop for no reason.
Before Cradle Point released the latest firmware I was using a laptop as a router and I was connecting via the Verizon software.  It was having the same issues.

if your phone has an older BT firware, i dont think it will ever be updated, i have not seen nokia doing that, i doubt nokia will start doing that, just like S60...
I have not yet seen any nokia phones with BT 2.1 in fact the only nokia devices with BT 2.1 are 2 headsets that are not even released yet, the BH-103 Stereo HS and BH-703...
and any nokia phone having A2DP does not mean it will support BT 2.1 and/or be able to upgrade to it...

  • Which mobile phone to be used as a modem with my Mac ?

    Hello !
I would like to buy a new phone (Nokia or Sony... and not expansive !). I'm looking for a phone that could be a modem for my Mac, when I will travel in central asia.

    I'd be talking to them.

  • Have to click 'Accept' every time sending file via BT from mobile phone

This is not much of an issue, but more of a need.
It takes forever and is quite annoying to sit by the computer and click "Accept" for every picture sent via my mobile phone.
Is there any way to accept connection for certain amount of time, or maybe pair up devices so that PC doesn't require authentication?

Go into the security settings and turn off the BIP receive confirmation.
If it should not work, then turn off OPP (OBEX) and maybe also ftp receive confirmation as well
This is because I do not know which mobile phone you are using and which functions (Bluetooth profiles) are supported by it to transfer information.

  • Mobile phone

This is a pretty general question, but which mobile phone handset would people recommend as having the least problems when using isync?

So what is the exact model number of the Printer you are having issues with?

  • Mobile Phone Properties

Is there any mobile phone that supports
    *master/slave switching(bluetooth.master.switch)
    *simultaneous bluetooth connections

If anyone has same problem in user search (who is who)...i found a solution, that works for me.
After a user changes his properties in his user profile i do the following
    IIndexService indexService = (IIndexService)ResourceFactory.getInstance().getServiceFactory().getService(IServiceTypesConst.INDEX_SERVICE);
    IIndex i = indexService.getIndex("ume");
    IResourceFactory aResourceFactory = ResourceFactory.getInstance();
    IResource rsrc = aResourceFactory.getResource(RID.getRID("/ume/users/" + user.getUniqueID() +".usr"), aResourceFactory.getServiceContext());
    i.indexDocument(rsrc);
This way only the changed user is reindexed.
    regards

  • Mobile phone pics?

    hello all,
would simply like to ask people's advice reg. which mobile phones work easy with Macs?
can't find much on their respective sites about Mac compatibility -
how easy or otherwise to import photos for instance, and what software is needed from the mobile's side?
    thanks

I have used numerous phones with my Macs over the years that have Bluetooth.
I have sent music from my iTunes to my phone and I have edited songs in Garageband to use a my ring tone.
As long as you have Bluetooth on your phone, it should send your media content over to your Mac and vise versa.
    Oh...
    and I also used a Sony S710a
Here are some pics of the phones that I have used if that helps:
    Nokia 3650:
    Nokia 6682:
    Motorola Razr:
    Blackberry Pearl:
    Samsung SGH-d807:
Sorry if I upset anyone for the pictures.
The quailty of the photos for each phone have been great, at least for a phone. That is what I really look for when I get a phone and all of these have done the job!

  • Devices that supports JAVAFX

    Hi,
Please tell me mobile devices that support JavaFX.

A search on this forum will probably give more precise answers, but I have seen recently in a thread that JavaFX is currently supported only by devices with Windows Mobile 6.5.

  • As of 2010, what mobile phones support JavaFX?

Hi guys! I'm going to deploy a javafx application on a mobile phone soon for my project.
Currently, as of March 16,2010, what mobile phones support JavaFX?
    Aside from Java's official recommendations:
    LG Incite, HTC Touch Diamond
Any information is deeply appreciated. I would love to hear from those who actually deployed their JavaFX apps on the mobile phones they will suggest here.
Note: I've searched the threads in this forum and google and most of them are outdated - posts from early last year.
Hope to see some comments real soon! :) Thanks in advance!

    Hi tsubaki,
The official JavaFX Mobile developer device is the HTC Diamond, however unofficially since the JavaFX Mobile developer stack is a Windows Mobile executable, you can unofficially (since it's not supported) run it on any Windows Mobile 6.x device. I've been running JavaFX Mobile 1.2 for Windows Mobile (http://javafx.com/downloads/windows.jsp) on an HTC HD2 device and have been getting some nice results. But, remember if you run on any device that is not the HTC Diamond, we cannot guarantee any level of support for it.
    Thanks,
    Hinkmond
