Which mobile phones?

Can someone be a bit more specific please about which mobile phone models will view BT Sport?
The web site says Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and IOS 5.1.1 but on the list of T-Mobile models whether a phone has this or not is not mentioned. (I am entitled to a new/discounted phone as a loyalty bonus and want to make sure I get the right one!).
A I said, specific phone types please. Advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

  • Which mobile phones do actually support JavaFX?

    Hello,
im very interested in javafx for desktop application development. Since i can deploy my applications for mobile devices aswell, i would like to try that. Recently (yesterday) i bought a new mobile phone, a Nokia E71. I admit that i have absolutley no idea of mobile phone technology.
Which mobile phones are able to run javafx applications?
I read some articles, they said phones need to support the Mobile Service Architecture Specification (MSA) and need to meet the requirements of JSR 248 (i hope that is correct).
My phone supports Java MIDP 2.0, im not sure what this actually means and if JavaFX will work on it. There are so many informations that i lost the track a bit.
I would appreciate it if somebody could explain it to me.
    Best regards,
    Maximilian

    Hi Terrence,
i just tried to install the LocalSearch application, sadly it doesnt work. The installation process aborts with the following message:
    *"Application not compatible with phone!"*
I dont see any other ways to make it run. Wondering if there are any hacks, like upgrading to feature pack2?
Anyway i can still choose a different phone, any recommendations where JavaFX will definatley work? (should be equal or better than E71 features)
    Best regards,
    Maximilian
EDIT: it would be nice if somebody could try the LocalSearch demo on a S60 3rd edition, feature pack 2 or higher, or any full MSA compliant phone. And does it work with Windows Mobile 6.1 phones?

    Hi
i`m a mobile application developer , i`m Interested about javaFX i want to know which mobile phone models support javaFX ? i cant`t get any information about this in nokia , sony ericsson and ... web site`s and documents
    thanks

To my knowledge, only Windows Mobile 6+ are currently supported... :-(
Moreover, currently, JavaFX 1.3 for mobiles isn't release, yet.
Look at the [Get page from JavaFX.com|http://javafx.com/downloads/all.jsp], there are release notes and installation instructions for mobiles.

Some phones that can't sync natively with OS X might be able to with software such as "The Missing Sync": http://www.markspace.com/ .

  • Mobile phone pics?

    hello all,
would simply like to ask people's advice reg. which mobile phones work easy with Macs?
can't find much on their respective sites about Mac compatibility -
how easy or otherwise to import photos for instance, and what software is needed from the mobile's side?
    thanks

I have used numerous phones with my Macs over the years that have Bluetooth.
I have sent music from my iTunes to my phone and I have edited songs in Garageband to use a my ring tone.
As long as you have Bluetooth on your phone, it should send your media content over to your Mac and vise versa.
    Oh...
    and I also used a Sony S710a
Here are some pics of the phones that I have used if that helps:
    Nokia 3650:
    Nokia 6682:
    Motorola Razr:
    Blackberry Pearl:
    Samsung SGH-d807:
Sorry if I upset anyone for the pictures.
The quailty of the photos for each phone have been great, at least for a phone. That is what I really look for when I get a phone and all of these have done the job!

  • Have to click 'Accept' every time sending file via BT from mobile phone

This is not much of an issue, but more of a need.
It takes forever and is quite annoying to sit by the computer and click "Accept" for every picture sent via my mobile phone.
Is there any way to accept connection for certain amount of time, or maybe pair up devices so that PC doesn't require authentication?

Go into the security settings and turn off the BIP receive confirmation.
If it should not work, then turn off OPP (OBEX) and maybe also ftp receive confirmation as well
This is because I do not know which mobile phone you are using and which functions (Bluetooth profiles) are supported by it to transfer information.

  • In Which type of mobile phones i can access Oracle application?

    Hi All,
I was wondering like , in which type of mobile phones (like Windows, Blackberry etc) i can access Oracle application ? Due to some reasons sometimes i can't use/carry my laptop, so in that case i want to open/access Oracle application in my Mobile Phone.

    Hi!
Generally it should be possible with nearly every mobile accessing to the database via command line mode.
If you want to access to Apex you need a mobile with a browser or Apple's iPhone with an 'app'.

  • Is it possible to use a Nokia mobile phone as a modem for my ipad2, which hasn't, got 3G. If so does anybody know how?

Is it possible to use my Nokia X6 mobile phone as a modem for my Ipad2, which is not 3G enabled. If so how?

You need to download something called JoikuSpot from the Nokia Store, they were giving it away free last week. You then follow the instructions to basically set up a little wifi hotspot, look at the settings carefully and create a password to get on it, by default it creates an open network so anyone can use it.

I have Mac OSX snow leopard , which I think is OSX10.6.8. I did as I was told and migrated to icloud having advised that not all devices were up to the Lion. I now find that the mobile phone receives the emails and so does the ipad, but not my desktoptop. I have received an email from apple saying I would be able to receive the emails. Why cant I?  What do I have to do ? Surely it is not necessary to buy another upgrade???

10.7.2 is required for full iCloud facilities, but you can still use your email. In theory you should be able to access your email in Mail at the same server settings, but this hasn't worked for everyone: you can set Mail up manually to access your iCloud email:
Entering iCloud email settings manually in Snow Leopard or Leopard
Once migrated, your mail will also be available at http://icloud.com

  • Ipad 2 is associating with mobile phone # instead of it's own #

Hi I recently update to iOS 6.1 on my iPad and when it was all finished with the update i was distracted when it asked me about my phone # for facetime and messaging and i just hit ok then later I realized it pulled my mobile phone # into it instead of it's own number and I can't get it out of there. I restored it back to factory settings and a back up before I turned on my data plan and added it's own number and I still can't get rid of my mobile phone number or change it back to it's own data plan # HELP!

That doesn't solve the problem. I have all those defaults. But in Firefox, it won't let me select for "Portable Document Format" to "Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)" which it used to let me and which is what the Mozilla Firefox help stuff says to do. I can select Adobe Reader but then it downloads it and opens it in a separate reader window rather than using the plugin. If I select to let Firefox "Preview in Firefox", then the Firefox built-in PDF reader will display it. I have added an add-on "pdfViewerSwitcher" which then lets me display in the Adobe Reader plug-in but only after first displaying it in the Firefox preview. So that verifies that the Adobe Reader plug-in works. But I can't set it to always use the Adobe Reader plug-in.
I have some reasons for wanting to use the Adobe Reader plug-in. I use Nuance Power PDF Pro for editing and doing other things with pdfs.
This all used to work and stopped working at some point in the last couple months. And if you search the web, you will find I am not the only one with this complaint.
I don't know whether it is Adobe's fault or Mozilla's fault but at least one of them is broken. And I think it is Firefox since it won't even let me select it but does let me select it for Adobe Forms.

  • Can not see the contacts in E63 mobile phone

    Hi,
I amusing E63 mobile phone. I am not been able to view the contacts in the mobile, so not been able to use the same. But when an incoming call comes in I do get the name resolution of the person calling and his mobile no which is stored in the contacts.
I tried backing up the mobile and all the time the backup of contacts could not happened and besides Contacts rest all is backed up....
Pls do let me know how to resolve this issue..
    Thanks in advance...

    Hey  kartik_sh
Welcome to the forum, your contacts are on the sim card and they will need to be either copied to Contacts on your phone for easy access.
It is not clear from your description what could be causing this issue, so I will present a couple of possibilities. The first is that the contacts that you cannot see are stored on the SIM card and not in the phone memory, to remedy this you can follow these steps to copy your contacts into the phone memory:
    Menu>Communic.>Contacts>Options>SIM contacts>SIM directory>Options>Mark/Unmark>Mark all>Options>Copy to Contacts
If this is not the case, and if after selecting Contacts you see the options Go Online and ChatServiceBuddy, it means that the ”Ovi Contacts Chat” service is selected as the default view. This service has been discontinued and replaced by Nokia’s new Chat service powered by Yahoo. You can set your default Contacts view back to the contact information stored in your phone by following these steps:
    •Select Menu>Communic.>Contacts
•Press the left navigation key to select the central field at the top of the screen, then press the centre of the navigation key to open the menu, and finally select Phone
•You should now see the contacts stored in phone memory. To make this the default view, select Options>Settings>Default contact list>Phone
If you are interested in the new Chat application, you can switch the Contacts view back to the Ovi Contacts view, select Go Online and sign in with the same user identity and password that you use to log into this forum. Your phone would then remind you that Ovi Contacts Chat is discontinued and take you through the steps to download and install the new Chat application. We would recommend that you use a WLAN connection for this.
If the two suggestions above do not resolve your issue, we can investigate further.
Out of interest, when you say that creating a back-up did not successfully back-up contacts, do you mean that you created the back-up with Nokia Suite and the report displayed at the end of the process indicated an error? If there was no error during the back-up process, it is likely that the back-up was successful and we still need to work out whý the information is not appearing in your phone.
Let me know if it works
    Kind regards
    Carl

  • How do I use Active Sync to view SharePoint Lists (Contacts and Calendars) on a Mobile Phone?

We are attempting to use SharePoint 2010 in combination with Exchange 2010 to implement shared calendars and contact lists throughout our organization.  We are able to connect the lists to Outlook 2010, but have been unsuccessful in viewing
the calendars and contact lists from our mobile phones.  How do we use Active Sync to view SharePoint Lists (Contacts and Calendars) on a Mobile Phone?
In trying to answer this question, we have come across a few different possibilities, all of them falling just short of a long term solution for us.  After doing research, we found that Active Sync will only show the default folders of the account.  To
solve this, we downloaded an Add-In for Outlook (CodeTwo FolderSync) to synchronize folders and synchronized our SharePoint list with a new Contact list in the default folder.  The issue we came across with this method is that the Add-In we are using
is not capable of automatic synchronization.  There is a button and it must be clicked after every update is made, which is not ideal for our solution.  We then went to the company (CodeTwo) and found server side software (Exchange Sync) that they
offer which will automatically synchronize the folders.  After installing that on the Exchange Server, we now are running into the issue of not being able to locate the SharePoint lists on the Exchange Server.
Does anyone happen to know how we can get to the SharePoint lists from the Exchange Server?  Has anyone else been able to use shared contacts lists and calendars from SharePoint on their mobile phones using Active Sync?  If so, are we in the right
direction with what we have found so far?
    Thanks,
    Brad

You cannot use ActiveSync for that, but there are SharePoint clients for the iPhone. Windows Mobile 7 natively supports SharePoint with SharePoint Workspace Mobile, part of Microsoft Office Mobile. Android and BlackBerry might also have some apps.
