Which MP3 is the smalle
Which MP3 is the smallest, lightest and most thin. One that would be good for running?
I dunno about smallest, but I run with the Zen V. I just got a 4 Gig one to replace my Gig (I stepped on it )?It fits perfectly in the little pocket you find in the front of running shorts - I think that it is meant for keys or something. Good luck. Eric

Which Mp3 is the one for me?please he
Ok, well heres the deal.
I have had mp3's for many years now, had two Creative nomad jukebox Zen NX and was not very impressed with them and a Zen Touch, still not really much of a benifit.
I'm looking for a 25/30G mp3 player, no video's, just music, not too large (like the Zen NX) and im not sure what make to get, id like to stay with Creative but im not sure, any ideas on a mp3 that would suit me?from Creative or not?
Thanks for your time.
Dubbsdubbs999,
Though the Zen Sleek is a very nice player (I had one).. Creative's Pride and Joy right now.. is the Zen Vision:M, in the HD capacity that you mentioned..
I absolutely love mine, and have had it since the end of Feb. this year.. the user interface (GUI) is excellent, you can configure many options including themes and using your own wallpapers.. sound is very good.. the LCD screen is nothing short of amazing.. and yes you can view videos, photos and includes voice recording and FM... it really can't be beat for the money...
..now try to guess what I recommend... =)Message Edited by Utew on 07-24-2006 06:42 PM -
I converted aif files to mp3 files in iTunes so I could put them on a flash drive. Now when I transfer an album to the flash drive I get both the aif files and the mp3 files on the flash drive. How do I get the iTunes to only copy the smaller file?
My suggestion to use the smart playlist was more along the lines of making one list with rules to show everything in your library as long as it was kind "mpeg" (= mp3).
Smart playlists cannot be edited manually, only by changing the rules. You can use them as the basis for another smart playlist though.
There is added overhead to using smart playlists, so don't go overboard. -
while synchronizing my iPhone 4G with just freshly actualized Apps in the small window at the top of iTunes site appeared the word "aerogram", which is not an App. is it spyware ot what else?
I was curious when this popped up as an app that I could not synch because the computer I was using was not authorized. I had just set up my Iphone and had only installed five app. After a web search I believe the Aerogram is actually part of the id for the Yahoo Mail app as it was the only app that was not listed of the five installed. On another site I found the following info.
App Name: Yahoo! Mail
Bundle ID: com.yahoo.Aerogram
iTunes ID: 577586159 -
On my iPhone 4s, I sent a picture via email and asked to size it down. However, it seems now that the pic stored on my iphone is now forever the smaller size which is not suitable for printing. Is there any way to get the larger size back?
sure pretty simple. make a backup of your current settings
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766?viewlocale=en_US
then restore device from old backup you need pics off of
then import pics to computer
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
you may need to save pics to camera roll first
then restore the new backup and sync pics back to phone via itunes

We are trying to play playlists and a slideshow from an Apple Macbook wirelessly to the Apple TV. The small, upward arrow icon that appears on the bottom right of the screen (which allows you to pick Computer or Apple TV) doesn't always show up, and therefore, we can't get it to work. Any thoughts?
Airplay mirroring software will not work with anything below Mountain Lion 10.8 and an Apple computer from 2011 or newer.

Go to "About this Mac" and tell us:
1. What OS X version you are running
And then click on "More Info" and tell us

Also tell us a little about your cable and Wireless setup.
Maybe we can help. -
I have sucessfully imported 150 Sony digital 8mm movies (each one hour in length) into iMovie as 150 iMovie events. I have since successfully converted them from their original 13 Gb (.dv) file to an exported smaller 1.3 Gb (.4mv "large file") movie that I am happy with, using the iMovie projects browser. So now I have 150 " .4mv" movies on my internal HD as well as about half of my original raw data " .dv " movies on my internal hard drive.
Due to their large size (over 2 Tb), I do not have all the larger raw data (.dv) files on my 2Tb internal drive, just about half of them. What I want to do now is to create a new project in the Projects browser for each of my kids, and reload, starting with Tape #1, each of these larger files and do a highlights movie for each of my kids, wherein I pick out smaller clips from each 1 hour .dv iMovie event and paste them into the appropriate kid's Highlights project in the Projects browser.
Here's my question: If I load the first 5 large files back onto my internal HD, and paste in various shorter clips into each of my kids' Highlights project, and then if I delete those first 5 large files (they are backed up on 2 other 3Tb external HDs), can I keep doing this (reloading the next 5 large .dv files to work with), and ultimately take each of my kid's Highlights project and export as a .4mv movie EVEN THOUGH the earlier large .dv files are no longer on my internal HD, OR does my iMac need to have all these larger files loaded on my internal HD for me to eventually export each of my kid's Highlights project to a .4mv movie?
I have a 2011 era 27" iMac desktop w 2Tb HD internal and 250 Gb flash drive, and Lion OSX and iMovie 11.Thanks. I tested it out and you were correct. I loaded 2 .dv movies from my external HD back onto my internal HD, and got them re-imported into iMovie, took a few short clips from each of the 2 iMovie events and pasted them into a new project in the Project Browser. Then I deleted these 2 "source clips" from my internal HD, closed iMovie and then re-opened it and found that iMovie would NOT export the smaller clips for a "highlights" .4mv movie without the "source clips" being available.
I read your link on Quicktime. It talks about mostly trimming, which is what I did with each iMovie event before I took each one as a project to export as a smaller .4mv file. But if I use Quicktime (do I need QT Pro or basic), what advantage is it to me to use QT over iMovie (I must admit I am a novice at iMovie and have never used QT or QT Pro as a tool)? Will it then convert any edits I make to a .m4v movie or do I need iMovie to do that?
Does QT allow trimming multiple segments out of a movie during one edit session, or can you only do 1 at a time? By that I mean that, for example, when I use Sonys Picture Motion Browser for my .mts movies, you can only set one Start and one End point for each edit/trim you do: it does not allow you to set multiple Start Stop points like iMovie allows in its Event or Project browser. You can only do one "trim" at a time, save it and then reopen to do another trim. not very useful. -
Hundreds of my iPhoto pictures will not be copied and will not show when I double-click on them. When I do in iPhoto an exclamation surrounded by a triangle appears. Though I can see the picture in the small tiles below it will not expand. I also cannot attach any of these pics into an e-mail or into any other file. I have already went through all 3 Repair options and when that did not solve it went through a complete Rebuild. Any Help?! Any Suggestions on how to fix this?! I have spent almost 2 days now going through all of the published help.
I have backups going back 6 months - I have not had the real need to check every album before - but - all of my backups also have this same problem. The triangle with the ! indicates that the connection between the thumbnail and the orginal is missing - this can be caused by many things including database corruption and user action emoving the originals photos on urpose or by accident
If the database is corrupted then rebuilding is the solution - backup and depress the option and command keys, launch iPhoto and rebuild your database -- if the iPhoto rebuild does not cure the problem then download iPhoto Library manager and use its rebuild command which creates a totally new library leaving the existing one untouched
If you have deleted the photos then you need to start over with a new library and import the photos you have not deleted into it
You can select one of the problem photos and use the reveal original in finder commander (file menu) to see if the original is there - if it is a finder window will open showing it

Session method and call transaction methos which one is the sap recomonded
hi
PLease give me the answer to these questions.
session method and call transaction methos which one is the sap recomonded why .
2) if we want to maintain BDC program in all the systems.wt to d0Hi Revethi,
Here is the difference between the Session and Call Transaction method.
Session
Session method supports both small amount of data aswell as large amount of data
2) data processing is asynchronus and data updation is synchronus.
3) it process multiple apllication while perfomaning validations.
4) in session method data will be updated in data base only after processing session only.
5) system provide by default logfile for handling error records.
6) it supports both foreground aswell as background process
in bdc we use FM ... bdc_open_group " for creating Session
bdc_insert " adding transaction and bdcdata table for updating database
bdc_close_group " for closing Session
Call Transaction
Call transaction exclusively for small amout of data
2) it supports only one apllication while perfoming validations
3) there is no default logfile, We can explicitly provide logic for creating logfile for handling error records.
we can create logfile by using structure....BDCMSGCOLL
4) it doesn't support background processing.
5) data processing is synchronous and Data updation is Synchronous( default), in
this method also supports daya updation in asynchronus process also.
Syntax:
Call transaction <transaction-name> using BDCDATA
mode <A/N/E> update <L/A/S>
messages into BDCMSGCOLL. -
I want to use google when I type to search in the main bar and wikipedia on the small search bar on the right. However, they both seem to use the same search engine, depending on which one I've chosen on the small search bar. I want them to use different ones without having to click and change engines. How can I do that?
You can use a (one letter) keyword search on the location/address bar and assign a keyword via "Manage Search Engines".
You can use the Keyword Search extension to specify which search engine to use for searching via the location/address bar.

I want to but can't play WAVs and MP3s in the same folder, please he
Hello,
I have a Zen Nano Plus. One of the reasons I got it was because it has a built in microphone. When you record with the mic it saves it as a WAV file, and puts it in the "recorded" file. I want to make a folder with both songs (mp3s) and bits of spoken word that I record in - so that when I play it I can select shuffle and it will randomly play either a song or a recorded part. (It's for a friend in a coma and we want to leave it playing her favourite songs as well as messages from her friends.) When I make a new folder it won't recognise WAVs only the MP3s, and when I put MP3s in the "recorded" file it won't recognise them, only the WAVs. The shuffle option will only shuffle between tracks in the same folder. I've called the help line and spent half an hour talking to them but nothing was solved. I realise that I can convert the WAV files into MP3 files (anyone recommend a good, free converter?) but would rather not have to do this. Also, if it is possible to play both in the same folder, can I also record through the mic directly into this folder? This would save me having to take it home whenever a new message is left to organise the tracks.
Any help given very much appreciated,
Anil.Firmware is the operating system of the player, written by Creative. Peebee is saying that it would require a fundamental change to this operating system, which would need to be reprogrammed by Creative. You can by all means request it as a wishlist item, by sending to support, but there's no guarantee it will be implemented.

Why is the small text blurry on photoshop?
why is the small text blurry on photoshop? i am **** a very small advert for a newspaper! and the text is printing blurry and when zoomed in is appearing all blurry? how do i stop this i only have photoshop and indesign
c.pfaffenbichler schrieb:
If a vector is intact, no flattening has been done. I don't talk about PDF layers, they are a complete different thing. When flattening is done no form or text survives as live vector or live text.
The pdf is X-1, so there are no Layers or transparencies in it, but the text is searchable still.
So I guess you are correct in that no flattening has happened, rather Photohop embedded two images in the pdf and clipped the one with the type.
Exaclty, whe a pDF X1 or 3 is created transparency is flattened and here it can come to unwanted rasterizing of vectors.
How will you create the correct boxes for bleed and crop in Photoshop?
For a newspaper add those will probably be irrelevant as bleed is hardly necessary.
Not at all, it is much easier to assamble files in a greater layout if all boxes are correct.
You know it good enough that this is not the right tool for that task?
Indesign is definitely the preferable tool for the task at hand, but claiming Photoshop cannot output type except pixelated was not proper.
I think in a forum we should not support the use of wrong tools but we have to show the best way to do things correct.
And there are also problems which cannot avoided with higher knowledge like coloured black (not in this ad). Yes, you an me we are capable to shift around the known problems with ads created in Photoshop, but others don't know these problems and will crash.
