Is it flash memory.
This is going to be used at the gym.

I was eyeing they
Creative MuVo TX FM GB MP3 Player
I use to have a Micro N200 - Hated the hissing noise and wish it would plug in directly like the TX FM does. Is the sound quality better on the N200. Can I listen to folders on the TX?

  • Which Mp3 is the one for me?please he

    Ok, well heres the deal.
I have had mp3's for many years now, had two Creative nomad jukebox Zen NX and was not very impressed with them and a Zen Touch, still not really much of a benifit.
I'm looking for a 25/30G mp3 player, no video's, just music, not too large (like the Zen NX) and im not sure what make to get, id like to stay with Creative but im not sure, any ideas on a mp3 that would suit me?from Creative or not?
    Thanks for your time.

    dubbs999,
Though the Zen Sleek is a very nice player (I had one).. Creative's Pride and Joy right now.. is the Zen Vision:M, in the HD capacity that you mentioned..
I absolutely love mine, and have had it since the end of Feb. this year.. the user interface (GUI) is excellent, you can configure many options including themes and using your own wallpapers.. sound is very good.. the LCD screen is nothing short of amazing.. and yes you can view videos, photos and includes voice recording and FM... it really can't be beat for the money...
..now try to guess what I recommend... =)Message Edited by Utew on 07-24-2006 06:42 PM

  • Which MP3 Player Should I buy?

After using a MP3 player in my clunky  5 year old cell phone for years, I'd like to buy a player.  I understand that the I-tunes program that my sister downloaded onto my computer, along with her songs will only play on an Apple I-Pod.  Does that mean I have to buy an I-Pod, or can I use her songs on a different MP3 player?  Is the quality the same for the different brands?  I wouldn't be a fan of the monopoly that Apple has  if I can avoid it.  I just want something light to use for excercise, perhaps a Nano or Sony with 16 GB or so.
    Thanks

Nokia is correct the iTunes files are in .m4a format. However you can easily right click on the song in iTunes and select "Create ___ Version". I left that blank in there because iTunes has different conversion options like convert it to mp3, acc, apple lossless, wav or aiff. I should also note this will not affect the original song. It will just make a second copy of it with one being the original in .m4a format and the second being in whatever format you selected.

  • Which mp3 player to buy????

I need a touch screen mp3 player for a 7 year old. Nothing expensive, and want to be able to download apps (games)...any suggestions?

Only item that comes to mind is iPod Touch, but I would buy an OtterBox for it so the unit dont get destroyed, and accessory package you are looking to spend almost $300 on it.
Don't know of anything else on the market that is cheap right now that you can download apps and games to it except for a low end tablet computer running android and not capable of flash playback.

  • Which MP3 Player?? Help Ple

Well, My wife's Micro headphone jack broke today. This is the 3rd time for her. I have had the jack on my Micro break 3 times also. She is dead set on getting an iPod because of all of not only her trouble buy my trouble too. I am tired of babying my player to only have it break.
Anyway, I am trying to get her to maybe upgrade to a different Creative product. I don't really care about photo capability. I just want an MP3 player. I really liked my Micro but it seems to have a design flaw. So I am thinking of getting the Sleek. Can anyone comment on the good and bad that they have encountered with this product. If you would suggest it to someone or not. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks for your help,
    Skee

If you guys really liked the Micro, check out the MicroPhoto ... I haven't heard of anyone yet (unless I missed it) that have headphone jack problems on the new MicroPhotos. It really is a great and sturdy player (I posted below about what happened to me today with mine).
I have owned all iPod models and still I think the Creative player is a much better player. You'll have to baby that iPod, too. ... probably more so ...

  • MP3 Player Trade-In for $40 off iPod Touch Ontario, Canada

Curious to know if the MP3 player has to be working?  Does it matter if it's got a cracked screen?  Do they really accept any brand (even no-name brand) mp3 players for $40 value trade-in?  Do you need all accessories too, or can you take the mp3 player on its' own?
    Thanks.

  • Disable built-in mp3-player in firefox for linux

I wonder how I can disable the built-in mp3-player in Firefox 26 for Linux (Ubuntu). I have already found the answer changing the entry "media.windows-media-foundation.enabled" in the about:config, but there seems to be no such entry in the Linux version. Anyone got an idea?

Hello eiersalat, check the '''media.gstreamer.enabled''' in the about:config, set it to False.
(i suppose, you have 26.0 firefox '''EDIT''' : yes you have 26.0)
    thank you

  • Which mp3 player to get???

I'm looking to get my fiance a new one since his iriver broke recently. Looking for lots of storage, preferably a large face & buttons, one that will play movies well, etc etc. I've looked at the itouch, creative zens, sony walkmans...
Any direction would be greatly appreciated. Thx

    Hi,
Some things depend on how techno geeky your husband is. I have had a creative device before and Loved the thing to death. You don't have to be to techno geeky to get it to work and it plays more formats than the ipods. If he wants a large screen for movies you may want to look at the new Zune HD, some format restrictions but it is supposed to be pretty good quality video.
My new toy is personally going to be the Archos 5. It has a five inch screen, the larges out right now, and a lot of memory. If you go for the hard drive storage payers you can get one up to 500gb. The player looks to need a little techy for some people, but only because it has more extras than I care to mention here. Also will play almost any format you can throw at it.
Good Luck. Hope you find something he likes

  • HELP: which MP3 player are the

    Hello,
If anyone on the Forum here can help me out I would appreciate it greatly!
I am an insurance adjsuter and one of my clients had a bunch of things stolem, among them were two Creative Technology MP3 players. They could not remember a model, but did know that one had more memroy than the other, but...
for some obscure reaosn they had the serial numbers of the two units.
    One is M2PF20642Rxxxxxx
    the other is MAPF6908350xxxxx
Now those numbers may not be 00% correct, but is that enough information for someone to let me know what these were so I can get replacments for my client?
    Thanks in advance!
    claimsrep

I was only able to find this:
    [LINKY]
I suggest contacting your client and asking them to go online and look at all of creative's players to see which one it is. Maybe a Zen Micro, Microphoto, V, V Plus. Nano plus... I dont know.

  • Unsure of which software update is right for my computer.

I am using an early version of the MacBook (black). I want to update my software so that I can run the latest version of iTunes, but I don't think that my MacBook can run Mountain Lion. Which software update would be best for me?

The Early 2006 model 1,1 Core Duo can only run a maximum of 10.6 Snow Leopard.
The models Late 2006 Core 2 Duos 2,1 through Early 2008 4,1 can only run a maximum of 10.7 Lion.
The Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody through the Mid 2010 White Unibody model 7,1 can run 10.8 Mountain Lion.
To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier.

  • I would like to purchase a macbook for my home office and piano teaching studio. Which macbook/specs are right for me?

I currently use my computer for curriculum and lesson planning, studio management, music games, and some photo and video storage and editing. I use a combination of software and web based applications. I am also planning on purchasing an ipad for use with students (music game apps and music listening). I I do not generally own multiple computers and plan on making this one last a while (my current pc is 7 years old). I am willing to make an investment in something that will have the durability and flexibility to last at least 5 years, however, I'm not interested in overbuying either. Any advice is appreciated.

if you're not doing anything graphics or video intensive - the basic 13 Inch Macbook Pro will do - even the basic 13 Inch Macbook Air will do.
I own both 13 Inch Macbook Pro and 13 Inch Macbook Air and both do what I use it for.  I use the 13 Inch Macbook Pro if I'm doing some video/photo editing (more RAM) and the 13 Inch Macbook Air when I travel.
If you want something that will last you for years - then go for the 13 Inch Macbook Pro since it's user upgradeable in terms of RAM and hard drive ( the non-Retina).
If portability is what you want - then go with the 13 Inch Macbook Air but get it with 8GB of RAM since you can't upgrade the RAM once you buy it.
    Good luck
