Which NetWeaver supports JDK1.5

Hi,
Is there any NetWeaver system, or Enterprise Portal, supports JDK1.5? I've built a repository manager using jdk1.5 and tried to upload it into my EP, which is SAP NetWeaver 2004s SR2 (SP9) downloaded from https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/downloaditem?rid=/library/uuid/cfc19866-0401-0010-35b2-dc8158247fb6, but it fails to start. In http://localhost:50100/ - System Information, it shows that jdk1.4.2_09 is supported.
So which EP supports jdk1.5?

Hi Ray,
It's true that NW releases currently in GA on the market support JDK1.4.x only.
However, there's a preview server, which supports JDK1.5, as well as is Java EE 5 certified. However, this can be only used currently for test/evaluation purposes only.

NetWeaver Support Platform Classloading

Hi,
I'm attempting to write a simple plug in for the Netweaver Support Platform but need to find out what classes are available to the application at runtime? For example, I'd like to access the Keystore service which I can look up with JNDI but need access to (I think):
com.sap.engine.interfaces.keystore.KeystoreManager
I've added the keystore_api library to the project but obviously if those classes aren't already referenced by the Support Platform Engine app then they won't be around at runtime.
I'm trying to get a list of certificates to do some SSO sanity checks. I'll also need to get access to some UME properties too.
It looks like there is a long list of references in the supportplatform.ear's application-j2ee-engine.xml so maybe I'm attempting to access the wrong class as I think there are some keystore related classes in com.sap.engine.client.lib which is referenced.
Any pointers to what I'm doing wrong would be greatfully received.

There are two ways:
enter the following URL http://<server>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcsupportplatformwd/SP
login with the super-admin user
You will see the UI of the support platform then click on Restart support platform.
The second way is using telnet
1) telnet <server> <port+8> i.e.: <b>telnet localhost 50008</b>
2) jump 0 (move from the dispatcher to the server)
3) add deploy
4) start_app sap.com/com.sapportals.supportplatform
5) start_app sap.com/tcsupportplatformwd

We buy apple why?
Quality.
Intuitive interface.
Stable software.
Design.
All that Steve Jobs consider sacrosanct.
Quality is about ongoing support longevity of product.
Its not about trying to sell to every person on the planet, others are way ahead of you.
So try respective the customers you have, it wont be long before theirs a better operating system and your lead in hardware is marginal.

If you have an iPhone or iPad do not update to ISO 7 unless you want an operating system that looks like windows 8. The graphics looks like it was designed by a artistically challenged mongoose and the operating system is not intuitive something apple users expect. How can I get a list of apps which are supported on ipod touch model ma623zo?
It's about 6 years old I think.
I have put the latest IOS on there (currently 3.1.3 (7E18)).
I download apps from the app store but they often fail to launch. I assume they're incompatible.
Is there a way to check which apps will work and which won't before I buy them?

I have no idea how my reply could be "misleading". I stated the exact situation: there are millions of apps in the iTunes Store, and providing a comprehensive, accurate list of which apps support which version(s) of iOS would be highly impractical. You can perhaps help with your search by going to AppShopper:

That will give you at least some starting points, but AppShopper is neither comprehensive nor completely accurate. I've found a number of apps listed there over the time the site has existed that either are no longer offered or which have been updated beyond the iOS version indicated. But it might help.

There's no reason you can't go on using iWeb for this - with iWeb '08 you have to publish to a local folder (i.e. on your Mac) and then upload the contents of the folder (not the folder itself) to your hosting service: and you have to make sure you enter the new URL in the Publish information or the feed won't work properly; this done, an iWeb podcast should work fine.
Of course there is still the problem that iWeb is not supported and sooner or later a system upgrade may break it. You could look at RapidWeaver: you can make podcasts with that, though the last time I looked into that - which was admittedly some time back - I didn't feel it was ideal for this. There are lots of other podcast creation programs or services around. WordPress is OK but it may be a bit of a steep learning curve: Libsyn is an online service that seems to work reliably. Blogger writes messy feeds but does usually work. Podcast Maker used to work well - I used it myself a few years back - but it rather looks as if it's gone moribund and it may not be reliable with Lion/Mountain Lion, so you would want to check into that.

How does NetWeaver support FIPS in java part?

As we know, default JDK doesn't support FIPS in the SSL/TLS socket.
There are 3rdpart soft, like certicom, bsafe can support this.
And in the opensource, NSS + jdk, seems can be a solution.
Here, just a question, how does NetWeaver support FIPS in java part? Is there an internal implementation?

I'm not aware of any. The library is backwards compatible so you should be able to replace an existing SAP Cryptographic Library with CommonCryptoLib. The Crypto Kernel implementation seems to exist only for AS ABAP. Maybe someone working on security at SAP can comment, I will ping the Security space to get their attention.

You should ask the people at Troll Touch if the have a software to create a user interface.
Usually, the maker will provide programmers with the programming codes and a interface guide line on how to program the different gestures.
I know that PQLabs as a SDK for their touch screens.
With the programming codes in hand, any good Flash or HTML 5 programmer can setup a web site that will take advantage of the touch screen.
One thing I can tell you is that with touch screens based web sites, when it comes to links or buttons to push,everything needs to be bigger than on a standard web site. People will be using their fingers to do the clicking.
A finger is a much bigger pointer than a mouse pointer!
So links or buttons that are too small or to close to screen edges will be hard to click.
