Which node will become master

Hi All,
I have 4 node rac. My question is suppose the master node go evicted,
In this case,which node will become master and who decide which node will become master.
I have read somewhere that the node wilth least number will become master.
How oracle decide the numbering which node will have least number?
Could you please help me in cleairing my doubt?

How oracle decides which node will have highest node and which will have lowest node number?The information which you want is not documented (far as I know). What is difficult to accurately tell you the truth.
There's a reason to you want to know about this. Depending on what you need, we can to solve in another way without trying to figure out which node have OCR Master all the time.

The OCR backup is taken only every 4 hours. If you are of bad luck, the OCR master could have changed between the time of the last backup and the check using ocrconfig -showbackup. Now, if this was the case, the CRSD.log(s) will probably tell you But again, you should not be required to find the OCR master permanently.

Can anyone make a guess as to which technologies are gonna stay with us for the forseeable future?
eg, with persistence will EJB stateful session beans be replaced with Hibernate?
is Java Server faces the way to go with web app front ends?

UCCX8.5 HA node 1 not master

Hi,
We are running UCCX8.5 in our dev lab (NFR kit) in HA (LAN) setup, when I reboot both servers node 1 is master
(check by http://node1server/uccx/isDBMaster)
but after a while (hour or so) suddenly node 2 is master.
When I run CAD, I can login, go ready/not ready, IPPA says service is not active, I guess the ip-address should be changed of the url?
Anyway, why would node 2 be master, I expect node 1 to always be master unless it becomes unavailable
Can I force node 1 to be master?
I am not sure which log to check for issues, if there are any

I wonder if we run into bug;

Hi,
Have look into the link, might be useful to resolve the issue.
I think this situation can arise only if u have allowed negative stocks, in such case , it is possible that fresh GR is making the MAP -ve which is not allowed. Then as suggested u have to do MR21 to revalue the material to ensure MAP does not become negative after fresh GR.
Check the OSS note
if you can't solve the problem with MR21 then pls apply the note430954 (report MBEKBEAN should be in the system),

While doing goods receipt MIGO I am getting error that "Price of goods mvt will become negative" As I analysed the purchase order is account assignment "K" PO and in material master no value exist with moving average price 0.
Please let me know how to solve this issue

how do I remove a gmail calendar which has inadvertantly become merged with my home apple calendar?
I have to view the gmail calendar as well, but now some entries are appearing as duplicates.
Currently I view my own apple calendar (home), a gmail calendar, a googlemail calendar and a friend's icloud calendar on the same screen - (all view only).
Hiding or deleting either the gmail OR the Home calender leaves me with missing entries.
Showing both gives duplicates.
Help please.
Earlier today, I lost my friend's calendar (icloud on an iPad) when he accidentally changed something. Trying to get that back (unsuccessfully) he or I must have inadvertantly changed someting, but don't know what.
I also view my calendar on ipad2 and iphone 5, but have not touched any of these settings.
Getting desperate! - the gmail and googlemail are the church calendars and there will be chaos if I can't get this fixed!

pretty sure in the settings -> email and stuff or maybe the notifications you can disable the gmail calendar at least theres where mine are along with the facebook and the other calendars you can add and remove

I am facing a problem, I have a scenario of return PO in which invoice has been done before GR(161).
delivery and GI having qty of 976 but by mistake done the GR with 1000 qty, So I have reverse the GR(162)
of 1000 qty but now when trying to post the GR(161) with 976 qty against outbound delivery, it's giving the below error:

Message no. M7330

Ise node not becoming standalone after deregistration

I am seeing a weird problem.
I deregistered secondary admin/monitor node from primary admin/monitor node. I see successfully deregistered message.
But the deregistered node is still showing SEC(A) and SEC(M). It is not changing to standalone mode.
This is disrupting the upgrade of distributed deployment of ISE nodes.
Any clues?

Bug details:
Secondary node never becomes standalone after de-registration
The secondary node is de-registered successfully but a "The following deregistered nodes are not currently reachable: . Be sure to reset the configuration on these nodes manually, as they may not revert to Standalone on their own." message appears to the administrator.
Workaround Log in to the administrator user interface with internal Cisco ISE administrator credentials when de-registering a node.
Actually we had two accounts in web gui, nodes were registered using one account and during upgrade, i used different account , which triggered this bug.

What is the percentage of battery life at which the color of the battery icon in the top bar will become red? 20% or 10%?

it is not a good idea to drain you macbook all the way down to see when it turns red. if it ever does - i've never seen mine red when it's down to 10%.
if you follow some of the threads here - some people who drained their battery all the way down to 0% can't turn their macbook back on.

i have checked in the asset master record the quantity field value is 0.
i am surprised why the system was referring to this..

this issue has been solved, i have tried using ABNA,
initially the document was posted , Asset master record quantity field value was 2 , later on they have changed to 1. now when i try to reverse this document through AB08 i was facing the issue.
when i changed the Quantity value field in Asset (master record AS02 ) to 2 then system was allowing to do the reversal of the document.

Deploying iworks suite when ipad will become privately owned in future

I have a mix of privately owned and school owned ipads that are supervised by my MDM.
The school owned ipads will become privately owned ipads in several years.
As part of the supervision users can't install their own apps, can not remove apps.
They can sign into iTunes.
Apps are deployed from the MDM.
Is there a way I can deploy iworks using tokens to the school owned ipads which will still allow the ipads to have iworks installed by the owners of the ipads when they are no longer school owned. To clarify, I want users in several years time when the MDM no longer has control of the ipads to be able to install iworks, but until then I want to control the installation.
With the privately owned ipads can I send deploy iworks but allow the users to activate the account using there own iTunes accounts?
Is this also the way forward for the school owned ipads.

Dear buddies,
we encountered the failure of "FATAL: Caught OutOfMemoryError! Node will exit with exit code 666". And we had followed the sap notes 723909 with configtool to change the JVM parameters of heap size. however we were not sure which node to modify, server or instance?
we had only changed the server node, such as -XX:MaxPermSize=512M
-XX:PermSize=512M -Xms2048M, but it did not work well.

Generally OOM will cause memory dump.
You can check in you cluster folder which node have the dump file.
