Which of the distribution can I select when I setup webmin?
I ran the setup.sh of webmin, it asked for my distribution of linux. There was no archlinux, which one can I select? gentoo? slackware? FreeBSD? Or RedHat?
I have selected RedHat9, It can worked, but not perfect. Because the service script is not in /etc/rc.d/init.d
You can update it online from within webmin.
Under webmin configuration, upgrade webmin, the default is to get latest from the web which works fine. (I have just done it)

I have a PowerBook G4 with a non-functioning monitor. It used to work with an external monitor, but I reinstalled the OS, which cleared the display preferences and now when I restart it won't detect the external monitor. This means I can't use the computer anymore. How do I fix? I tried using the Command+F2 keyboard shortcut, but it doesnt' work. It's possible that since I reinstalled the OS, it still needs to be set up, so there's only a welcome screen (but since I can't see it I'm not sure).

Default filters which the users can delete (in parent/child setup)?
Is it possible in Latitude 2.2.2 to have filters (range filters, refinement filters etc.) applied by default (meaning users see these filters when they log-in), but they can also remove them (using Breadcrumbs portlet) if they wanted to? We tried using the data source (JSON) filters (using "baseFunctions" setting) where we have a parent/child setup, but it seems those filters cannot be removed once applied. Note that the filters can be removed if we do not have a parent/child relationship amongst the data sources, but as soon as we introduce a parent/child relationship amongst the data sources (which we need to have), the filters get sticky and cannot be deleted. Any reason why parent/child relationship causes the filters to become sticky? Any (alternate) means to achieve what we want?

How do I create Themes/Chapters in my video before burning to DVD so that Scenes can be selected using on screen icons when DVD is loaded to player?

Every chapter in the timeline could be transfered to DVD Studio Pro, and then used in DVD navigation. This is very important feature, decause you don't have to lookfor some parts of your video while creating navigation! Less work - more joy! Another downscore of FCPX!

The mouse can't select and operate any apps
Sometime the mouse will suddently freezes, can't select and operate any apps(include the dock). Although the mouse is moving, but I even can't operate force quit. Force quit can only be seleted though keyborad and I can only press power button restart to solve.

The only odd thing that had happened was that during the initial run of FF, when it connects to the Mozilla site, I lost my (dialup) Internet connection and didn't complete that initial contact. Bookmarks, etc seem to work, I just can't import from the old browser.
If you have problems with importing the IE Favorites in Firefox then export the Favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.<br />
That way you also preserve any sorting that you may have done in IE with the Favorites.

Is there any possibilities that the admin of the team can limit the packages of the user? Only the admin can add and remove software to be downloaded for specific users.
You can include single app plans in team packages, but otherwise no. This will exclusively depend on the users' local permissions on the computer - if the can install one app, they can install all of them, be it only as a trial.

Can't select when JList populated by LOV
I'm at a loss here...
JDev 10.1.2.1 (1913)
I'm creating a simple Swing Shuttle panel. I want standard action, i.e. when the 'shuttle' button is pressed, the selected items in JList1 move to JList2.
I first created this with JList1 bound to a VO. I quickly realized that I couldn't remove elements from the list without removing the appropriate rows from VO...tried to do that but ran into errors.
Ok, so i figured I'd create a programmatic VO and followed the documentation to populate this with a LOV from the db-backed VO attribute I want.
The problem is that all list values are grayed out and un-selectable
Steps:
1 - Create DB-backed VO and programmatic-backed VO with same attributes (I created these using the Ename field from Scott.EMP)
2 - Create JPanel
3 - Find the programmatic-backed VO on the Data Control palette
4 - Expand to find the attribute I want to show in my JList; select "Drag and drop as List"; drag onto my panel
5 - Open the List binding editor from the Structure window
6 - On the LOV Update attributes tab I select the DB-backed VO as the source and the programmatic VO as the target
7 - On the LOV display attributes tab I shuttle over the attribute I want to display (Ename)
I tried the three different selectionModes...I compared the properties of the VO-backed JList with the LOV-backed list and can't find a difference. I fooled around with the "Updatable" settings in the VO...
Any ideas why this doesn't work as i expect?

JohnI'm not sure that there is anything in the ADF Bindings to help you here. What we have done is to programatically execute the query and add each Row to the JList. You will need a custom renderer to the JList so that the list knows which attribute from the Row to display. Then when you shuttle the row over, you just remove it from the first JList and add it to the 2nd JList. It is also very easy to create a generic ListCellRenderer that knows how to display Row objects. Here is one that we use:

}One thing to remember is that a Row instance has some internal id assigned to it, so if you re-execute the query, your list's Row references will be invalid. If you have to re-execute the query, then you will need to clear the JLists and reload the Rows.

At wit's end trying to select my external hard drive to load video on. Time Machine backed stuff up on it so the computer knows it's there but it won't show anywhere else, iMovie or FCE4.
Hi Eric and thanx for the fast response. I've had very little time to piddle around with this iMac and fce4 since I got it a few years back but I DO remember seeing an option back then--when capturing video from the camera--to choose some other scratch disc. Some time after buying and plugging in the ext. drive I clicked on Time Machine (not even knowing what it was--some window popped up and it looked good). I wonder if turning on Time Mach has locked me out of the ext. drive. It doesn't show up ANYWHERE ANYTIME now, not under system pref., user pref. in fce4 or iMovie or anything else EXCEPT when I click on Time Machine it does tell me I've 2.97 terrabytes of space (which has to be the ext. drive; the iMac has 500 gb). I'm thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling fce4 and starting over.

Why the subvi can not show,when i use call by reference node.

Controlling the Thunderbird email account selected when replying to an email from a local folder.
I have 3 Yahoo! e-mail accounts and 1 gmail account that I use regularly. For all my e-list emails, I use only one of the Yahoo! accounts, yet Thunderbird attempts to send all my e-list replies from the gmail account. I can't figure out how to control/change this.

After upgrading to 5.0. Music will not play. Have tried several reloads etc, but it still remains inactive. All other apps seem to work OK
Any ideas?I did check the Automatic downloads were switched on. The music is still not playing although the icons and all controls are present, the song does not initiate.
