Powerful is a matter of perspective and is relative to what you are trying to do and what other options are out there. Of all the systems Apple makes, these new systems are some of the lower powered ones, but will be ample enough to get many things done quite well. Keep in mind the MacBook Air is not intended to be a powerhouse system, and is meant to be a lightweight system with long battery life.

Of course 3G drains battery faster than wi-fi (when the same data volume is transmitted) Just imagine the range of each data transmission . 3G has maximum range around 20km while wi-fi has only 200m outdoors

Touppercase vs tolowercase (which one do you use?)

I was curious to know which one was more popular. I did some searching and found:
tolowercase onesearch: 1,118 google: 157,000
touppercase onesearch: 1,135 google: 45,700
So, on these forums it seems that they are roughly equally used. But out in the real world (Google) tolowercase (case-insenstive) is 3 times more popular.
My guess is that upper-case is the Internet way of yelling, so people would reduce the risk of offending someone by using lower-case. Any other ideas?

the conversion to upper case for some characters like the german sz-ligature (ß) is slightly more complicated than you'd think, so to make unsigned comparisons you should rather convert to lower case.
But searching for something on google and claiming one thing is more "popular" than another basing solely on the results seems very strange to me...

OSB vs SOA- which one can take max load in terms of req/resp traffic

I have few basic questions about load taking capacity of OSB and soa.
1. Is there any oracle doc stating how much traffic OSB or SOA components(bpel, mediator etc.) can take in terms of request/response per hour with certain infrastructure?
2. Diff in java callout in bpel and in osb?
3. Which one is more stable product in high load situation eg. 2 lac req/resp per hour.
4. Is there a link between number of javacallouts and performance in OSB and in SOA.

Interesting challenge... As I said before it's unlikely you will find stats as you want, this type of study is very particular to a use case, platform and infrastructure... There's no generic magical number...
I can say that OSB is lightweight and scalable and I would be surprised if it would become a bottleneck if running in a well dimensioned hardware... The bottleneck is typically at the external system... I also believe that if you add SOA Suite in the picture you will be adding overhead rather than enhancing performance, you should add SOA Suite if you need capabilities like audit, traceability, recovery and so on that you won't have with OSB alone... There's an old study on the link bellow but I'd doubt it would apply for your case, but may be helpful anyway...

Dimensioning hardware is always a challenge... I recommend you to write a typical service and a worst scenario service and use a tool like jmeter to test how much throughput you can get from your infrastructure... Java callouts and complex xml transformation processing are points to be highlighted... Use a clustered OSB topology so you can easily add new nodes if needed...

WRT110 vs. WRT54G2 - which one is right for me?

WRT110 is the speedbooster of the old WRT54GS, whereas WRT54G2 is the new WRT54G (no speedbooster). Our current home network exists just to enable all computers to have internet access, we do not do any file sharing between computers. Considering that, is there any reason to go with the speedbooster over the non-speedbooster version? Which one is more stable/reliable of the two (less dropped connections, random slowdowns, etc)?

Well, they both are just as effective. If it is just a one way path from loop A to loop B you can just use a local variable but you could run into issues if you need all the data. If the writer loop writes the local then it has no way of knowing if the other loop has already read it so it will overwrite it. Also the receiving loop has no way of knowing if the data has been updated. If the receiving loop only needs the most recent value then you can get away with a local. But you have to continuously read from it whereas with a notifier you can just "wake up" the receiver loop when the value is written.

I don't think anyone will be able to definitely tell you that one particular graphics card will be better than the other. There are just too many factors. The only way to tell would be to test over and over, and even then, you may not get consistent results.

A basic MBA will be more than adequate. Take into consideration that storage may be a long term issue unless you are not averse to traveling with an external HDD.

I called Adobe for help on this, but they said my version of InDesign was too old for them to help me, which was really discouraging. I am getting an error when I try to open my InDesign files, which up until a couple weeks ago, opened fine. I am getting the error below:
Error "...'[Filename].indd' uses one or more plug-ins which are not currently available..." When Opening an InDesign 2.0.x Document
And it lists the following unfound plugins:

If I click okay to try to go past it anyway, I get the following error:

I've tried deleting and reinstalling CS2. I've tried removing my preferences. Neither have worked. I am close to just resorting to Apple's Pages for my layout design. If anyone can give some fixes here, I would really appreciate it.

Verify that you are running ID CS2, InDesign version 4.x. What level are you patched to from the InDesign>About InDesign drop down splash screen?

I just had my 4 cartidges refilled at Cosco. Came home and installed them and get the One or more cartidges appears to be damaged message. Looked at the little example on the printer screen and it looked like it was telling me the Yellow was the one. Just bought a new yellow and still get the message. Does the printer tell you which cartridge is bad or is it just replace them all?

Welcome to the HP Forum.
Commentary
This is a difficult question to ask of our Experts in that most of us would never suggest that you use refilled cartridges in your HP printer in the first place.
Long term, you might damage the printer using refilled ink cartridges. This is true for any brand printer in my opinion.
If the printer was inexpensive to begin with - well, little lost except the shame for the trash created when the printer must be replaced soonner rather than later.
If you paid good money for that printer - then you might consider the investment you have made thus far and decide whether refilled cartridges are worth the risk.
Short term -- you can run a diagnostic test on the printer and see if it can tell you what it thinks about the situation.
Most printers provide diagnositcs and testing under Settings or Tools on the Front Panel.
