Hi,
The answer is ambiguous: sometimes it really depends on the specific attributes of SAP objects. Generally, any direct intervention to SAP data tables and programs will create WB change request.

Hello,
We currently have authorization escalations configured to generate when a task becomes past due as follows:
1st escalation to approver at 0 hrs
2nd escalation to approver at 8 hrs
3rd escalation to approver at 8 hrs
4th escalation to RC support at 64 hrs
Essentially the 4th escalation should generate 10 days after the authorization is past due.
The problem is that sometimes this works as expected, however, sometimes we receive the 4th escalation after only 5 days....
The pattern we have noticed is that if there is a requisition that is past due 10 days AND there are additional requisitions that are past due 3 days, an escalation email generates for the requisition that is 10 days late plus any other escalations that are 3 (or more) days late that happen to be in queue...
Also, another interesting thing we noticed is that, coincidentally, these premature expiration notifications are always generated on Mondays which is significant because we have an automated script that runs every Friday night. This script is used to push new/changed services into the PROD system and involves shutting down and restarting the system...
Has anyone else experienced this?

When we initially setup escalations we had some issues and do have an open TR to Eng because we have one escalation on one task on a particular service that does not escalate consistently but the others have no issue? But right now we were instructed to build escalations using a 24 hour clock and our business day is 10 hours. Based on how the Escalation manager is setup it escalate ( for us we have the standard 8am to 9pm Monday - Friday once on the hour) This is working on over 100 services we have

Spool request not generated in smartforms printing

Hii all,
I have smartform, which was printing properly in QA server and few days back when i tried to get print from Production Server, it is not generating spool request. and in QA also it is not having same as on date.
is there anythng to check from ABAP side or there is a problem of Basis.?

I mean when it is working properly and when it is not?
and what Function Modules u have used ..?
and i wanna know is there any other print forms are working or not. if the other are working, it is not BASIS problem.

Spooling request not generated

i am facing a problem in po output, for my one document type spool request is not generated but for other document type spool request is generated . But i can do it maunally for same document type please help me in this issue ..

Switch for printing immediately. Printing is immediate if this switch is set. Otherwise the output is held in the spool.

New Spool Request not generating

Dear All,
I have seen print preview of one PO and taken print which has created a spool request.
Another PO also I have seen the preview and taken print, but it has added to previous spool request as second page.
My problem is I need to generate new spool request for each PO. Where do I need to do setting for this. Pls guide.

Customer refund paid using F110 for which check is not generated

Hi,
A customer refund is paid using the transaction F110. Payment document got generated and successfully posted. But the check number is not allotted for that document and checks are not printed. In the same payment run payment is made to the vendors for which checks got generated. I had checked customer master data and payment method settings and not able to figure out what is the exact reason.

Hi,
System thinks Check should be issued to vendors and collected from customer so check creation refer to the field LFA1-LIFNR, name written here is used for Check creation. Does customer name lie in to LFA1-LIFNR. This is the reason check issued for customer is not created. If you want then get the check printing form analyzed by an ABAPer to modify, if any.

I found below part which solve my issue.
Goto VF02/03 >> Issue output >> Print options >>>> Tick mark for release after output here remove the tick mark you will see the spool request generated other wise immediately spool request will delete becaues of that tick mark.

Know what apps will load on itouch 1st generation and which ones will not

I have an itouch 1st generation running version 2.2.1. I want to load the program Brushes, which the requirements read: Compatible with iphone and itouch, requires iphone os 2.1 or later. Will this work on my itouch?
I tried loading a program Inspire, which its requirements were: Compatible with iphone and itouch, requires iphone os 3.0 or later. This did not work, because I didn't have os 3 on itouch. When trying to upgrade, I cannot because I have a 1st generation. Is this correct? I'm assuming I can't load anything that has requirements for iphone or itouch, with iphone os 3.0 or later?!?!

Yes it will work as your 2.2.1 is "2.1 or later."

No, you can indeed upgrade to 3.0 if you wish. The you can get apps that require 3.0 or later.

Which one raid level is better

Hi:
We have an 3310 raid configured like raid1 with one logical drive,
with 10 disks (5 mirror) and 2 for spare.
In last 6 months we had 5 fatal fails, first time we changed the controller,
second time, we changed the chassis, however it did not fix the problem.
Data was lost in each fatal fail.
is it normal?
maybe, another raid level will fix our problem?
Our system is redundant, has 5 servers-prime and 5 servers-backup
When one prime fails, the backup takes the control.
Only, raid 3310 is not redundant.
Which one will be an better configuration?
is it possible to have 3310 redundant?

Did the Sun engineers upgrade the firmware on the 3310 when they replaced all the disk's and controllers for you ?
I'm assuming this array is in a data-center/server room with good cooling etc (ie it's not cooking itself)

I've got about 2600 songs and just restored my iPod and there are 10 that did not transfer. It's only a small percentage but it would be nice to know which ones did not transfer.

I don't know a way to, but luckily, you've only got 10 that didn't transfer. If you had a hundred then playing each one individually until you came across the "broken" ones might be a pain.

I send an email to several people and I get an undeliverable message, how do I know which one is undeliverable

I send out a news letter for the Lions Club and involves 30 different people. Sometimes I get an undeliverable message and I don't know which address did not get delivered. How can I find out which one was not delivered so I can make sure I have all the correct data.

Have a company based itunes account, trying to share itunes on bank owned devices. can't get all devices to keep our shared password on them without requesting user to enter password (which i am not giving them)

i am an IT manager for a bank. we have several company owned iphones. WE have also implemented a mobile device management system to manage our iphones.
We setup acompany based itunes account, trying to share itunes on bank owned devices. This way i can add bank approved apps to the devices through our itunes account and push out to the iphones, and no one can download any other non bank approved apps.
it has been working ok. but recently i had one user who came in. He went to enter in his itunes account on the phone and didn't work. So then came back and my staff and myself have (as much as we can see) removed his email account itunes login from all sections in settings. and entered in our itunes account information, but when you go to the app store, and hit upgrade, it still shows his email account for itunes. I feel like i can't get all devices to keep our shared password on them without requesting user to enter password (which i am not giving them)
How can i troubleshoot his device. i tried changing password 5 times today, rebooted device, and no change.

i have an MDM application, and i push out the apps i want them to have with our IT apple id account. for some reason when two approved apps needed updating last week, they prompted him for our password. (which i told him to bring phone in and i would enter password).
but somehow he went to try to enter his personal to make it work (don't know why)
somewhere it's keeping his personal email. i went into itunes/apps and our apple id is in there.
there is nothing in icloud b/c we do not allow icloud, so that's clear.

Request Number is not generated for BRM "new" role creation

Hello Gurus,
I have configured BRM in SAP GRC AC 10, along with the workflow .
I have selected the following methodology
Define Role --> Maintain Auth >Analyze & Access Risk>Request Approval>Generate Roles>Maintain Test Cases
Role name : Y_TEST_BRM_FUNCTIONALITY
So i do the following steps and assign
1) Role approver as Mr. ABC & Alternate approver as Mr. QRS
2) Assign the Required transactions and do the RAR i.e i am done till step 3 of methodology
When i click "Initiate Approval request"
The approval triggers , and goes to the 1st stage as configured in MSMP
1) Power User Approval .
Here the Power User : EFG , open his workflow and see the request as
Role approval required for role Y_TEST_BRM_FUNCTIONALITY
The approver approves the request and then the request all together vanishes.
Unfortunately i am not able to search the request for that role from NWBC -->Search request by
Process Id : Role Approver Workflow
It gives blank !!
Hence neither i am able to find the request no able to do any debugging of it using
GRFNMW_DBGMONITOR_WD
Please note that the Request Id is created for any request in CUP.
Is it that i have to create a number range for BRM request ??

I was wrong in posting the cause of problem.
Please note no "Request number" is generated for Role creation Request.
The problem was i was unable to search the Role Request approval status from "Search Request" via Process Id
It got resolved via SAP note 1643539 : UAM: Search Request not returning result for some Process Id.
My Issues is Resolved.

No transport request generated while configure the payment terms

From screen Txn OBB8>Table view>Transport>Create request. Now you will get the transport number.
