which is better macbook air or macbook pro ?
Neither one is "better" in an overall sense. The two different machines have their strengths and weaknesses.
If you have any desire or need for the strengths that the MBA has, then the MBP is likely to perform better in many average situations. However, it can't be overlooked that he MBA comes standard with an SSD, which makes for a performance gain the standard MBP does not have for things like booting, launching applications and writing files to disk. Then again, one can always install an SSD on a MBP, and it would beat any Air in performance, alone.
I suppose if you are considering the Air, it is for the portability advantage than can't be duplicated in the MBP.
Before choosing, create a plausible configuration that you would like for both products, then take into consideration the cost. Once you have laid out both in this manner, ask yourself to prioritize the differences.
MBA: Lightweight, small, portable, No built in optical drive, MBP 13" has better screen resolution than MBP 13", Comes ith fast SSD. Memory maximum of 4 GB, not upgradeable after purchase.
MBP: Has Optical drive. Has faster processor options. Memory is both upgradeable, and can support more memory than MBA. Heavier, thicker.
If one was inherrently "better" than the other and cost were comparable, then the lesser would have no purpose.

How are you supposed to get help from Apple if you don't know what your serial number is? They say to input the serial number of the "product" that you are asking about. Since my problem is how to deauthorize/authorize computers, and they are saying I have more than 5 (which I have never owned more than 5 computers in my life), I can't imagine what serial number they mean. Help! I can't contact apple because I have no idea what they mean about serial number. I doubt they would help me anyway. You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. Apple's system would see that as a different computer, even though you don't. There's nothing to be afraid of in deauthorizing everything and the reauthorizing what you actually have. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized. -

I think 6.2 is easier, just follow read me instruction, on redhat 7.0 you must run patch to downgrade glibc from 2.2 to 2.1

So I am new to Muse, and my Adobe Cloud has 2 different programs from Muse... how do I know which one is the newer better version?
One Must program (Muse CC 2014.2) has a black background when working on it... it looks like other Adobe programs such as Photoshop.
The other one is light color (Muse CC) very similar to the black color Muse on functions.....
One of the difference I notice is that the light color Muse has a few widgets in the library, while the black background Muse seems to have an empty library

The latest version of Muse is 2014.2, so you need to uninstall another version of Muse manually.

In my case: 1-2 days transactional data are more than 3-4 Millions. I tried using both # and table variable and found table variable is faster.

Performance wise if you are dealing with millions of records then TempTable is ideal, as you can create explicit indexes on top of them. But if there are less records then TableVariables are good suited.
On Tables Variable explicit index are not allowed, if you define a PK column, then a Clustered Index will be created automatically.
But it also depends upon specific scenarios you are dealing with , can you share it?

I certainly owuld not get the 16 Gb. My old phone had 32 Gb and it was pretty much full. I just depends on what you wan tto place on it in the way music, apps, videos etc

I was having trouble with synching my iphone 5 since the new operating system was installed. But I was waiting for my 6+ and figured it would be solved with my dandy new phone. No such luck. I downloaded a great deal of music and then added to it and synched again. Music gone, except paid for stuff bought on the phone. So I added more and tried to load it again, and it did. But now, I was afraid to add anything, backup, and synch for any reason as it takes 12 hours + to load my music.
So, I went back to basics and looked up the procedure. It does say that if you make a change, " you should hit the apple button before you synch." Which one?
No info on what they mean. And clearly this is a change. I'm feeling stupid, but lately, Apple makes changes and expects you to intuitively figure them out. I usually do but was stumped here. It might be nice to get a heads up when changes occur.
Please help !
Oh and also, I can't seem to download ringtones I have created.I am syncing my iphone to my iTunes account and then I do a backup and also making sure all updates are current. Then by going to the my phone and then going to the right and selecting the restore my iphone.

Which sometimes stays in the address bar over a completely blank window, (like in the case stated above) and sometimes opens a download window, with the video in mp4. It suggests I open the file with VLC.

I know what you're gonna say - try disabling them to see which one it is. It's complicated :) but I can't, I've got too many windows open, like 700, and shutting Firefox down or restaring it the normal way is near next to impossible sometimes :)
Another way is for me to save my session file and open a new session, and then disable add-ons one by one to see which one's to blame. It's even possible some of them are maybe incompatible with this version of Firefox.
So f someone can tell me if they're having the same problems, and maybe suggest a solution, I'd be happy to hear all about it.

Why do you need a expensive MacBook Pro?
Your attending high school and unless everyone else is rich also your likely going to be a target by the more poorer students for theft or damage to the machine.
You could keep it home, but if you need it for class then your exposed again.
Also at that age your not very careful yet, a MacBook Pro is a expensive and easily damaged machine.
Unless your made of money and so are others at your school, I would recommned a low profile, just does the job cheap Windows PC.
If it dies, gets lost, stolen or damaged because of your inexperince handling senstivie electronics then it's no big deal.
You can buy a Mac later on when your sure you have a need for it, currently there isn't much advantage of owning a Mac compared to a PC, they do just about the same things now, one just looks prettier than the other.
Since 95% of the world uses Windows PC's your going to have to install Windows on the Mac in order to keep your skills up there or be unemployed, so it's a extra headache and expense.

I just had my iphone stolen from me. In the past I have always set up my phones an ipads on to the find my iphone service. I have never deleted them from the find my iphone account and now I have 3 iphones showing and 2 ipads. How can you tell the difference when none of them are labeled as Iphone 4, iphone 4s, iphone 5, etc. No dates are shown as when purchased so it I can't figure out which one is the correct iphone to put on lost mode and send message to.
Deleting on one device does not affect another device.
You can delete the App's on the iPhone and nothing will happen to the ones on the iPad.

Hey! Seems like iCloud is a bit more complex to setup than I had thought it would be. Here's the situation. I have two Apple ID's. One is my @me.com account that I just migrated to iCloud. Second Apple ID is an @gmail.com account that I use for all of my iTunes purchases (also migrated to iCloud. I know you can have multiple Apple ID's setup in iOS (by means of "Mail, Contacts, Calenders"), but there is only room for one account under the "iCloud" tab/setting under iOS settings. Which one should be used here? My @me.com, or the one I use for iTunes purchases? ...or does it even matter? Just want to set everything up optimally from the start so I don't have to go back later and correct something.

so i dropped a few thousand books onto my ipad -- i read a few deleted a few, and deleted ones i read etc...when I go into my itunes on my laptop i want to delete the books i don't want anymore -- in the section listing my ipad the books are unchecked but i can't delete them from there - if i go into the books section of my itunes .. the books are there but i have no way to tell which ones i want deleted ...so i go back to my itunes where it shows my ipad and the books i deleted are unchecked -- do i have to write them on paper or something so when i click on my books library i can know which to delete? help!!

When you sync to a new library, it will erase the current content.
Use your backup copy of the old computer to copy everything to the new one.
