Which oracle logo should I attach on my resume?

I have just now passed the  1z0-051 ORACLE Database 11g: SQL Fundamentals I exam by 67% (60% to pass). Also i am familiar to PL/SQL too. And lastly I have done an internship project on it.
Is I am eligible to attach oracle LOGO on my reume?
if yes, which logo should I attach "ORACLE" or "ORACLE CERTIFIED ASSOCIATE"?

I have just now passed the  1z0-051 ORACLE Database 11g: SQL Fundamentals I exam
Is I am eligible to attach oracle LOGO on my reume?
No.  There is no certification earned by passing the 1Z0-051 exam alone.  This exam is included in several exam tracks, but does not confer a certification by itself.  If you pass a second exam (for example 1Z0-144 -- Oracle Database 11g: Program with PL/SQL, then the two exams together make up a certification (Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate in this case).  That certification has an associated logo that can be used on resumes, business cards, etc.

  • Which oracle database should I install OBIEE RCU schemas

    Hi,
    Which Oracle database should I install OBIEE RCU schemas into? Should I install them into the database that contains the star schemas? Also, if we have different star schemas (HR, Sales, etc.), should I install multiple pairs of OBIEE RCU schemas for the different data. Finally, should I create both the DEV schemas and PROD schemas?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    1)DEV_BIPLATFORM and DEV_MDS schemas?
    Its having schemas like BIPLATFORM and MDS
    Above schemas are used to store our Metadata,Usagetracking information related to your BI Application, like lifecycle of app, any triggers, any Schedulers etc

  • Which Oracle Certification Should I Start With

    Hi,
    I'm looking for some advice on which Oracle certification I should start with. Let me first tell you about me and my business goals. I an new to the SQL world but have a firm grasp of the RDBMS. I have also worked as a Business Analyst for a company that is doing an Oracle upgrade including the EBS. I have had to do some very basic queries. My business goal is to improve my Oracle database skills.
    I would like to add Business (Data) Analyst to my job description some day. I would like to be both a Business Analyst and a Business Data Analyst. I have been asked to work as a jr. DBA in the past, and would like to continue to pursue those options. Currently, my work seems to evolve around Oracle as opposed to the other businesses out there.
    Given this information, which certification would you recommend I start with. Please let me know if you require additional information. This is my long term business goal so I will take as much time as needed to get it done. I was thinking I should start with *1Z0-051 SQL Fundamentals I* (11g). Any thoughts?
    Thank you in advance!

Any thoughts?You could get this certificate as a first steps. If you want to be expert on dba subjects than you need to go OCA and OCP certification path.
    If you get to Business Analyst than you can go wiht ebs certification

    But dont forget those subjects are different from eachother and need different skills to become senior on those subjects

  • Which Oracle products should we use?

    We are looking to build, from the ground up, a site that is roughly a combination of www.kudzu.com and www.accessatlanta.com. Which Oracle products would help us best develop, test, and implement a similar solution.
    The primary confusion for me is whether the Portal product would be a good fit, or whether some other product(s) would be better.
    Many thanks in advance for any and all input.

    First, thank you VERY much for your reply. This post has received lots of views but no comments until yours. I appreciate your taking the time to offer a bit of advice and assistance.
    If I understand correctly, you're suggesting developing the whole thing using J2EE rather than a product like Oracle Portal. I assume we would still be able to deploy using components of Oracle Application Server. Is this correct?
    Ultimately, this portal website will be very database centric. All of the ads, listings, content, etc., would have to be stored and managed using a database. Would using J2EE be the most effective way to accomplish that?
    I'm sorry if I seem a bit of a newbie. I know enough that I want to use Oracle technology, but not enough to know which products. Essentially, I'm the guy with the idea and I need some assistance figuring out the products so I know which product expertise to look for when hiring the right technical staff.
    If you have any additional thoughts, please share. In the meantime, thanks again for your response.

  • W2k8 is 32-bit,which oracle 10g version should be installed?

    Hi everyone,
    I am a new DBA. Now I will install Oracle 10g on w2k8. I found w2k8 is 32-bit system, i am wandering which oracle 10g version I should install?
    Thanks!

    Go to http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/index.html
    Note that Windows 2008 explicitly is listed against 11.1.0.7
    Therefore, you can assume that 11.1.0.7 is the first that definitely supports W2008.
    And you can assume that anything older than that line is definitely not supported.
    And if it is not supported (as is the case for 10g), you can assume that you will run into some kind of problem either during installation or (worse) at some unknown time later.
    You can probably find some workaround to make it appear to work. Which is fine ... it's your job. (At least until it stops working.)

  • Remove the ORACLE Logo in my MDI form

    Dear Friends,
    <p>In my MDI form eventhough I give null for my menu Form module property, I'm getting menu with Window displayed and also the ORACLE Logo as below. I don't want this to appear. What I should do to make it disappear? I'm using Forms 10g Application server to run my forms. </p>

    Dear Friends,
    <p>I finally got it corrected without setting useSDI = yes property. Actually what I did was - just created a dummy menu with only one menu item in it and with the following menu item properties set to that menu item and attached with the login screen.</p>
    <p>Menu item type = Magic</p>
    <p>Magic Item = Window</p>

  • REPLACING ORACLE LOGO WITH MY LOGO

    REPLACING ORACLE LOGO WITH MY LOGO
    hi i tried to replace the oracle logo with my custom logo......but still tht logo is not appearinmg........i followed the steps mentioned in the following note in metalink......can u tell me wht went wrong.i have also attached my config settings in formsweb.cfg.
    You can either replace the Oracle logo with your custom logo, or just
    delete the Oracle logo. Both of these options are described below.
    Replacing the Oracle Logo with a Custom Logo
    ============================================
    Forms 6i(6.0.8.8 or above), has a new look when using the Oracle
    lookAndFeel parameter. An Oracle logo appears in the menu when you run
    the form on web. The logo is visible, even if you use a default menu
    or custom menu.
    Follow this procedure to that logo with your custom logo:
    1) Backup the following files:
    oracle_home/forms60/java/f60all.jar
    oracle_home/forms60/java/forms/icons/oracle_logo.gif
    2) Create your custom logo in gif format and rename it to oracle_logo.gif
    3) Copy your gif to the oracle_home/forms60/java/forms/icons directory.
    4) Open the f60all.jar in WinZip.
    5) Find a file called oracle_logo.gif in the archive and delete it.
    6) Create the following directory structure:
    c:\oracle\forms\icons
    7) Copy your custom logo(renamed to oracle_logo.gif) to:
    c:\oracle\forms\icons.
    8) In WinZip, choose Add a file, then select the oracle_logo.gif from:
    c:\oracle\forms\icons
    9) Add the file to the f60all.jar archive and close the jar file.
    10) Stop and restart your forms server.
    11) Clear the cache from your browsers.
    Now when you run the form on the web, your custom logo will appear in
    place of the Default Oracle logo.
    Removing the Oracle Logo from the Menu
    ======================================
    Use one of the following methods to remove the Oracle logo from the
    menu:
    -- If you do not need to use the "Oracle" lookAndFeel, use the
    "generic" lookAndFeel. When you use the generic look and feel, you
    do not see the Oracle logo in the menu. However, you do see the
    canvas in the windows default gray color. Also, the menu toolbar
    icons are gray.
    -- If you want to retain the Oracle look and feel but remove the
    Oracle logo only, add the following parameter in your html file,

    hey,
    u can try making your own .jar with your icons inside and put it on the3 forms60/java directory.
    Include also the following line in cfg file:
    archive_jini = f90all_jinit.jar, [youriconsarchive].jar
    and maybe you should change imagebase to 'codebase' instead of documentbase.
    I have it like this and works ok. I can use every icon in my jar as logo or anything else..
    hope this helps

  • Which Oracle Edition installed

    Hi,
    how can i easy determine which Oracle Database Edition ist installed (Enterprise, Standard or Standard One)?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Martin

    There is no specific command that directly shows whether an installation is an Enterprise Edition or a Standard Edition.
    However, there are multiple places that can be checked for the actually installed Oracle Edition. e.g.
    1) The SQL*Plus banner
    2) From the installation logs created while installation of the software
    Location: $ORACLE_HOME/cfgtoollogs/oui
    installActions<timestamp>.log file also shows the installed Oracle Edition in several places.
    The 'Summary Page' shows what type of installation have been selected,
    i.e. Standard for SE, Enterprise or Custom for EE
    3) invoke the OUI GUI and check the installed products (should show the type of installation)

  • I want to remove oracle logo in my harddisk

    my question is that I install the oracle database 8i i my
    computer and I need to know how can I take out the logo that is
    place
    in the harddisk in my computer.
    whe I get in in my computer in desktop the oracle logo apear in
    the harddisk logo.

    Depending on what version of Windows you are using, you can
    obtain a tool called TweakUI from Microsoft, or it may be
    included already with your Windows. Go to the Repair tab and
    select to repair icons. That should take care of it.

  • Which oracle client do I Need?

    I need to connect to vision instance on a remote server using my machine. I came to know that I need to have oracle client installed on my machine.
    Can someone clarify which oracle client do I need? I am running on windows- XP on NT Server. Version of Vision instance is 11.5.10.2.
    I appreciate for your help. URL Link should be great.
    This is what I download and unzip to C:\Oracle\instantclient_10_2.
    instantclient-basic-win32-10.2.0.3-20061115.zip
    Is it the correct one?
    Thanks.

    Your setting
    -Doracle.net.tns_admin=/usr/local/oracle/oas03/network/admin
    is ok if this directory contains the correct tnsnames.ora file.
    I have done some poking around, and I suspect that you use an old JDBC driver.
    I have written a sample Java program that tests a connection with java.sql.DataSource using JDBC thin and tnsnames.ora, and it works fine with Oracle 10.2.0.3 but fails with Oracle 10.1.0.5 with exactly the error message you get.
    The property oracle.net.tns_admin exists only since Oracle 10g R2 (see Metalink note 333686.1).
    With 10.2.0.3 I was not able to reproduce your error message, when I set a wrong oracle.net.tns_admin I get "Io exception: could not resolve the connect identifier", and when I omit the property altogether, I get "Io exception: Unknown host specified".
    Please double check if Vision uses the JDBC driver you think it does!
    Yours,
    Laurenz Albe
    PS: maybe the test program is useful for somebody. I will post it:
    * Test a DataSource connection with tnsnames.ora
    * Usage:
    * java -classpath .:/oracle/dir/ojdbc14.jar -Doracle.net.tns_admin=/tnsnames/dir tnsname user password
    public class DataSourceTest {
    public static void main(String[] args) throws java.sql.SQLException {
    if (3 != args.length) {
    System.err.println("Usage: java DataSourceTest <TNS-Name> <user> <password>");
    System.exit(1);
    // enable the following for trace output
    // need to use ojdbc14_g.jar for this
    /* java.util.logging.Logger logger = java.util.logging.Logger.getLogger("oracle.jdbc.driver");
    logger.setLevel(java.util.logging.Level.FINEST);
    java.util.logging.Handler handler = new java.util.logging.ConsoleHandler();
    handler.setLevel(java.util.logging.Level.FINEST);
    logger.addHandler(handler);
    oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleLog.setTrace(true); */
    oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource ods = new oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource();
    ods.setURL("jdbc:oracle:thin:@" + args[0]);
    java.sql.Connection conn = ods.getConnection(args[1], args[2]);
    java.sql.ResultSet rs = conn.createStatement().executeQuery("SELECT user FROM DUAL");
    rs.next();
    System.out.println("Successfully connected as user " + rs.getString(1));
    conn.close();
    }

  • Removing ORACLE Logo in Forms 6i

    I have placed a line saying "logo=no" in the formsweb.cfg file. I also added "logo=no" to the CGI command used to bring up my form in the browse. Here is the problem:
    The FIRST time I bring up my form, the ORACLE logo is not there (which is what I want). If I close the form and bring it up again, the logo magically appears. Even if I close the browser window (IE5.5), re-open it and bring up the form, the logo still appears. How can this be happening and how can I fix it????

    Greg,
    actually the Oracle logo shows whenever the look and feel is set to 'Oracle'. You can suppress it by replacing the Oracle log by your custom logo, say a 1x1 pixelf gif (making it hidden in your Forms)
    ollow this procedure to that logo with your custom logo:
