Which patch number to patch OID 11.1.1.2 to 11.1.1.5

Hi,
i am looking for the patch number to load to go from OID 11.1.1.2 to 11.1.1.5 on Win7 64-bit?
Per documentation
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/install.1111/e12002/instps2.htm#BGBGAEDF
it mentions the file named
Oracle Identity Management 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0) Patch Set Installer (ofm_idm_win_11.1.1.5.0_32_disk1_1of1.zip (for Windows)
On Oracle support I found the following patches when searching for Identity Management Suite patch:
14609562
14760839
16209876
though the file name for above is for example p16209876_111150_Generic.zip which doesn't look like ofm_idm_win_11.1.1.5.0_32_disk1_1of1.zip.
Though I am not sure that I should use ofm_idm_win_11.1.1.5.0_32_disk1_1of1.zip since it indictaes the 32-bit, I need the 64-bit version.
Can someone please clarify where I can find the patch/what is the patch number?
Thank you,
Anatoliy

Thanks so much, Scott, very helpfull, this is exactly what I was looking for.
Well, I did follow, having some fun of course, at Configuration process execution it fails
at Extend JRF step with the error below.
What draw my attention in the error log below is this line:
at string$py.f$0(C:\wlst\jython_2.2.1\Lib\string.py:434)
because I don't have C:\wlst.
At first I thought some WLS end is not set but then I noticed the script correctly references my WLS_HOME as C:\Oracle\fmw\wls1035, so this should not be the case.
Well, looks like I am into some fun, if you have an idea please let me know.
Best Regards,
Anatoliy

  • Which patch to begin with SAP netweaver 2004s - BI 7.0

    Hi every body,
I have some questions on this new BW release.
1)Which patch could correct the most problems on BI 7.0?
2)Do the configuration of instal an 7.O with using the 3.5 functionalities, means that we have not the 7.0 bugs on the new objects (DTP, datastore, ...)because we do not use them ?
3)In an upgrade configuration, do it exist a tool or anything which permit to upgrade, for example ODS into Datastore or update rule into DTP and so on ?
Thanks a lot for your answers
    best regards
    Ulrich LARCHER

    Hi Ulrich,
    ad 1.)
We (SAP) recommend to start with SPS7, which greatly improves stability especially in the frontend area. For the backend feature, you could easily go with SPS6.
    ad 2.)
pretty much, yet there might be some hiccups. In general, most customers with a technical upgrade (upgrade to SAP NetWeaver 2004s, yet using mainly BW 3.5 features) do not report too many issues.
    ad 3.)
for your examples given, there are kind of migration tools. A former ODS Object will automatically be an DataStore Object; a DTP can be created with an update rule as template starting from SPS7 (please be aware that the conversion of a routine can only happen on a best guess base - you will have to check the results in case of extensive / complex ABAP routines). In general, you will also find an extensive description about the migration support tools for SAP NetWeaver in the SPS7 version of the documentation. We have included a dedicated chapter in the technical operation manual (TOM) for most of the features that are affected by migration.
      Cheers

  • Which patches should be applied

Hello guys, I have a bit of a situation with patch terminology. My manager came to me and told me that we had to find out which patches to be applied and after that we had to go to metalink and find out what patches are available for our systems.
so first off, I logged into one node, went to $ORACLE_HOME/Opatch/ and did the following "opatch lsinventory" and got the following information.
Now my question is, how do I use the following info to find out what other patches to be applied?

You are running 11.2.0.2   The current (latest) patchset level is 11.2.0.4   That requires an "out-of-place" upgrade -- i.e. by installing 11.2.0.4 in a seperate ORACLE_HOME and then running catupgrd.
However, before you do that, you should be upgrading your Grid Infrastructure (to 11.2.0.4)
Since an upgrade from 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.4 is significant, you should test your applications against 11.2.0.4 in a test environment first.
    See Oracle Support notes
11.2.0.4 Patch Set - Availability and Known Issues (Doc ID 1562139.1)
    and
Important Changes to Oracle Database Patch Sets Starting With 11.2.0.2 (Doc ID 1189783.1)
CPUs are documented here : http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/security/alerts-086861.html
The latest CPU, for the October 2013 release, is the final CPU for 11.2.0.2   [See Oracle Support note "Patch Set Update and Critical Patch Update October 2013 Availability Document (Doc ID 1571391.1)"].  Subsequent CPUs will be released for 11.2.0.3 and 11.2.0.4
Some customers, to be safe, do not apply the latest patch "until it has stabilised".  They might choose to be one patch level lower than the latest.  For example, to be on 11.2.0.3 and the July 2013 CPU.  Your organistation needs to have a Patch Management Policy that drives decisions on patching.

  • Which patches to apply on top of a WebLogic Portal 10.3.5 installation?

    Hi,
Is there any MOS note that lists which patches should be applied on top of a WebLogic Portal 10.3.5 installation?
    Regards Peter

    Thank you Emmanuel.
Is it because the features in Portal Examples were not supported anymore since 10.3.4?

  • Which patch # to migrate Weblogic from 10.3.5 to 10.3.6

    Hi All,
I will have to migrate Weblogic from 10.3.5 to 10.3.6. My SO is Linux RH5 64 bits, and searching for the patches I've found the following patches :
Patch 13529653: PLACEHOLDER BUG FOR WEBLOGIC SERVER 11GR1 (10.3.6) UPGRADE INSTALLER (Linux x86)
Patch 13529623: PLACEHOLDER BUG FOR WEBLOGIC SERVER 11GR1 (10.3.6) UPGRADE INSTALLER (Generic Platform American English)
Which patch # have you guys used to migrate ? I did not find any patch to Linux 64 bits with the description "WEBLOGIC SERVER 11GR1 (10.3.6) UPGRADE INSTALLER"
    Thanks,

    Hi again...
I've got to find a patch, but is was the following :
Patch 13529623: PLACEHOLDER BUG FOR WEBLOGIC SERVER 11GR1 (10.3.6) UPGRADE INSTALLER (Generic Platform American English)
So, I can presume that there is no specfic patch upgrade to Linux x86-64.
    Thanks

  • Which patches to apply for 11i Demo Instance?

Who can tell me which patch must be applied for 11i Demo instance after install completely because I found many errors from 11i Demo such as Oracle Managemnet Module can not test the functionality.

You need to apply the 11.5.3. level of code and Patch set D before you do much with OM. Even with 11.5.3. you will still not be able to complete a full order cycle. Shipping still gets blocked with errors that are being worked on at Oracle Development as we speak.

  • Which patch to apply in OEM 12c 12.1.0.4 -  PSU or Bundle patch

    Hello All,
Could you please help me to understand - which patch to apply in OEM 12c 12.1.0.4 -  PSU or Budle patch ?  Per doc id - Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.4.0 (PS3) Master Bundle Patch List for Agent and Plug-ins (OMS and Agent side) (Doc ID 1900943.1) -
which of the below  mentioned patch to be applied in OMS ?
1> System Patch 12.1.0.4.10 - Patch 20675595 (This is a single Sytem patch that includes all the OMS-Side Plug-in Bundles released this month as well as OMS-side Plug-ins released in previous months.)
    or
2> For 12.1.0.4, this is Patch: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/BugDisplay?parent=DOCUMENT&sourceId=1900943.1&id=20392036https://updates.oracle.com/ARULink/PatchDetails/process_form?parent=DOCUMENT&sourceId=1900943.1&aru=20392036 &patch_password=&no_header=020392036 (12.1.0.4.3 PSU).  Please refer to Note.1995267.1 for the latest PSU patches available for Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c Release 4 (12.1.0.4).
We recently upagraded our OEM from 12.1.0.2 to 12.1.0.4  with out using software updates option  during upgrade, hence none of the PSUs are applied to OEM. Now we want to apply latest OEM  patches which fixes all the fixes and bug/securities.
I thought BP will include PSU as well but  why does DOC id - 1900943.1  says - NOTE: We recommend that you always apply the most recent quarterly PSU.  For 12.1.0.4, this is Patch: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/BugDisplay?parent=DOCUMENT&sourceId=1900943.1&id=20392036https://updates.oracle.com/ARULink/PatchDetails/process_form?parent=DOCUMENT&sourceId=1900943.1&aru=20392036 &patch_password=&no_header=020392036 (12.1.0.4.3 PSU).  Please refer to Note.1995267.1 for the latest PSU patches available for Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c Release 4 (12.1.0.4). ??
    Please help .

    The answer is Yes.
The PSU is core OMS patches (think console, incident rules, notifications, etc.) This gets applied to your OMS ORACLE_HOME (i.e. /u01/app/oracle/mw/oms)
The Plugin System Bundle is a compilation of all the latest plugin patch bundles (So for DB Plugin bundle it contains all the latest DB Plugin fixes).  The system patch will apply required patches as necessary, skip what's not.
You can read more about the various patches here -

I highly recommend this note as well.  It will help identify exactly what should be applied to the entire EM env.

when you use live upgrade to upgrade to a new OS level , which patches do you apply before performing the upgrade? I used prerequired patches from 10REC when performing a live upgrade patching . Do you use these same prerequired patches when upgrading to a NEW OS LEVEL?

    I hope it's help:

Ensure that you have the most recently updated patch list by consulting http://support.oracle.com (My Oracle Support). Search for the knowledge document 1004881.1 - Live Upgrade Software Patch Requirements (formerly 206844) on My Oracle Support.
The patches listed in knowledge document 1004881.1 - Live Upgrade Software Patch Requirements (formerly 206844) on My Oracle Support are subject to change at any time. These patches potentially fix defects in Live Upgrade, as well as fix defects in components that Live Upgrade depends on. If you experience any difficulties with Live Upgrade, please check and make sure that you have the latest Live Upgrade patches installed.
If you are running the Solaris 8 or Solaris 9 OS, you might not be able to run the Live Upgrade installer. These releases do not contain the set of patches needed to run the Java 2 runtime environment. You must have the recommended patch cluster for the Java 2 runtime environment recommended to run the Live Upgrade installer and install the packages. To install the Live Upgrade packages, use the pkgadd command. Or install, for the Java 2 runtime environment, the recommended patch cluster. The patch cluster is available on http://support.oracle.com (My Oracle Support).
For instructions about installing the Live Upgrade software, see Installing Live Upgrade.

  • Which patch to apply in ONLINE mode

How can we judge which patch to apply in ONLINE/Hot mode...??
Is the patch readme only option ??
or there is some other way ??

    Hi Vicky,
General Patch readme shows you that if patch require down time or no? other than that you need to assume from your server performance wether you will able to apply patch online with sufficenet worker or not? and how much time will it take? also consider the size of patch you need to apply. And then take decision wether to apply patch online or not?
    Thanks,

  • Which patch i need to install

    Hi all,
I have installed form 6i on my machine
I want to know which patch i need to install..... where can i find that patch???
    Thanks

Are you posting this question for one of your coworkers? What do you mean, "... +which patch i *need* to install+ ..."? Only you can determine if there is a need for a patchset.
If you are not experiencing any problems with this very obsolete version then you don't need to install any patches. If however, you are experiencing problems then your only option would be to install one of the last patches which was Patch 17 or Patch 18 (which was intended for EBiz). These patches are only available for customers possessing current accounts to MyOracleSupport.
If you do have a valid Support contract and do have access to MOS, here is some information you should review:
Note: 228666.1 ; Product Obsolescence Desupport Notice
    Patch 17 (ID 4183804)
    Patch 18 (ID 4948577)
All of the above are available at: http://support.oracle.com

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro re install on new PC...Which serial number is right one?

I have acrobat 9 Download version 2010 on two PC's. Two separate serial numbers. I have stopped using one of these PC's and want to download and re install the software on a new PC. I don't know how to tell which serial number version is on which PC?  How do I know which serial number to use for the download, so it does not cause an issue with my other adobe program on the other PC

    Hey Chaos2015,
It is not possible to check which serial number has been used on which computer as they are encrypted.
You might need to deactivate your license from the old machine so that we can check at our end and let you know the serial number for the same.
or you can try using any of the serial numbers to activate your license on the new PC since the license for Acrobat software can be activated on maximum two computers, say a laptop at home & desktop at work.
If you want to know your serial numbers, refer:
    Find your serial number quickly
Let me know if you have further query.
